Just learned about fan movies. You can copy ab idea as long as you don't make money on it, so that got me thinking. How about the return of the cylons after the ships were destroyed in earth. Even for as bad as the Nationals have been playing (which is pretty horrid really), I can't wait to go to tomorrow's Washington National game rather than being stuck at home and even partially tempted to watch another night of the horribly bad I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here on NBC. I'm not a big fan of reality TV, but if you put together a compelling cast and offer the possibility of there being some combustibility, I'll probably watch a little just to see if some delicious trashines...

I just got through watching 2 more anime series. I'll give a brief review of each of 'em. Firstoff is "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". I had turned off HBO for my house a while back, after they had finished up the series runs for the shows I was interested in seeing. Knowing that those shows either weren't coming back, or would be off the schedule for a long period, it just wasn't worth paying a subscription fee until something I really wanted to see was going to be on.

Recently Comedy Central has been running Jeff Dunham's special Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity . If you aren't familiar with Jeff Dunham, he is a comedian whose 'shtick' is that he is also a ventriloquist. Excellent show, at least so far. Which means that the stupid suits at the FOX network will probably cancel the show after 3 or 4 more episodes :-{ I hope the second half of the 'pilot' episode goes as well as the first half did. Also would note that the FOX suits really should can their promotional department. Ok, I admit I am sometimes a sucker for crappy TV. Crappy, trashy, reality TV. Which is exactly what I am anticipating FOX's new show The Moment of Truth will be. I hope I'm not wrong about that, and I hope they make it as edgy and trashy as they can. The ads (commercials) that have been previewing the show so far look delightfully trashy. I hope the show delivers.

I didn't sit and watch the entire show last night. In fact, I haven't really kept up with the show because the novelty of it has worn off (for me, although it is a great show!) since it first aired. However, if it 's on when I'm channel surfing I'll sit for a bit and watch whomever is on trying to win money. I have just one question about some of these people? What the fuck is wrong with them? Why would you, especially if you don't see or hold say $65,000 or say $100,000 in your hand ...
