Went to see Hellboy 2 today.

Luke Goss plays Prince Nuada, an elf prince who seeks the destruction of mankind.

Reading - I finished "A Cure for Modern Life" by Lisa Tucker. I loved this book. It was about two homeless kids who are taken in by a pharmaceutical excecutive for all the wrong reasons. Is Wall-E for everyone? Probably not.

If you dig animated movies with lots of dialogue and plenty of over the top/zany/big mouthed characters, then this movie might not be for you.

Wall-E is pretty subtle...but oh so endearing. Here is a robot that has strolled around earth doing his robotic duties for the last 700 years, and along the way develops a "personality"...I guess you can say he's picked up some human quirks.

Thanks to terfan1980's article "Hancock" (great article BTW), I was inspired to ask this question to all. Taking into consideration the average price of $4 a gallon of gas and some people having to rethink and readjust their budgets, not to mention ticket and popcorn prices going up with or without the help of gas prices, what are your plans for all the summer blockbusters that are already starting to hit the big screens or will soon be?

It's interesting how movie makers today try to cram as much detail about a the story line of a movie in 2 hours or less. Sometimes, like in The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, the need for detail forces movie makers to extend movies to, at times, 3 hours just so as to not leave anything out that they believe is useful to making the movie more successful.

Well, I have to say I was not disappointed by the latest Marvel movie to hit the big screen. Considering I had seen the previous version of the is movie "The Hulk" and while I liked it, I believe the graphics could have used some more work. "The Incredible Hulk" however was a bit more realistic, as realistic as one can be now a days. Reading - I just finished reading The Heartsong of Charging Elk by James Welch. I am so happy that I just happened to pick this up at the library. It was a wonderful and moving book. Expelled Didn't Get Expelled

I'm happy to say that "Expelled" broke into the top 10 this weekend. This is pretty good considering that the movie only opened in 1,052 screens about half as many screens as other top 10 movies.

Those who have seen the movie have said it was nicely done and that it is not from a Christian perspective by any means. Here are some of the comments from those who have seen the movie.

    Shadowrun: One Night is a professional quality Shadowrun Machinima. It may not be the best, but it does what it does believably, if a little forced.

    It has all the good stuff one would expect from a Shadowrun story. Magic, guns, and stealth combine for a wonderful story of love and hate. Yeah, it's a romance, but it's got good magic and gun fights.

    I would rate it PG-13 (Language, Violence, though it would probably recieve a PG ratin...

If I hear or read one more radio, television or on-line news story about that picture of Miley Cyrus taken by Annie Lebovitz for Vanity Fair, I'm going to explode!

I think it is very irrational of the news media to keep going on and on and on and on about this! She said she was sorry, she didn't realise it wouldn't be tasteful, what the frak is the big deal anyway?

Toshiba announced in late February that they would cease development of HDDVD drives and players after every single movie studio went exclusive to BluRay aside from Universal. I Made a Movie!

My husband and his buddies have played in a soccer tournament in Phuket, Thailand for the last couple of years. It is a 7's tournament (7 a side, and 7 minute halfs). I go along because, hey, I want my beach time, too!

Usually, I just go to the beach or hang by the pool and this is the first year I actually watched them play. I video taped the games. Considering I didn't have a tripod, the filming wasn't too bad.

I tried making a video from other years but I never got a result I liked. ...

I was very thrilled to see Lost return to the airwaves. It is one of my favorite shows. I know some ppl have jumped off the Lost boat ( I do understand why...since it was dragging for a while there), but I am determined to see it to its end.

Already the little twists and turns of the season premiere have me wondering and theorizing.

If you've jumped off the boat, maybe you'll give the show a chance again. I can say with confidence that its much more captivating and interesting than...
