Stargate’s new Data Center was the focus of an interesting post written by Isabel Wang on thewhir.com today.

For those of you not familiar with Isabel, she has been involved in the web hosting business for over 10 years and has served in an executive capacity with several different industry leaders.

The post features an interview with our CEO and Founder, Gary Chaffin.

Gary has always been Stargate’s secret weapon and it is nice to see him step out from behind the curtain and get a bit of recognition for a change.

The interest in our new facility is high and I expect it to continue to increase as our go live date approaches.

Welcome to my first Stargate blog post!

Stargate has recently announced the opening our Oak Brook Tier 3+ Data Center in Oak Brook, IL. Everyone is very excited. Over 80,000 sq. ft. of data center space available!
In the following days, weeks and months we will be updating our site and blog with construction updates and important news.

Some of the initial key features are Hot-Aisle containment and high-density deployment options. Never again will hot air be mixed into the ambient air temp.
