Hey, this is Spencer.

Last week I worked in an AT&T commercial. This was a pretty big production and I had a great time. The commercial is supposed to air, nationally, on cable networks and also on the Internet. It's in post production now, so look for it in a month or so.

Two New Auditions

Possibly three. The first audition is for a movie called "Home Less" and the second is "Untitled." "Home Less" is about two homeless men that are trying to turn their lives around. I don't have much info yet about the second movie.

The third audition isn't official, I've just been submitted for it. The following description is from the Casting Agency: ProdCo. This thirty- minute weekly Sitcom, is a super satirical, slightly dark, always funny look into the "truth is stranger than fiction" workings of the commercial film making world. "Prod Co" stands for "Production Company." Think 'The Office' meets '30 Rock' with a hint of 'Scrubs'.

I think waiting to hear if you booked the role is the most difficult part of being an actor.

Liberating Jesse

Here's a couple photos from my first film, "Liberating Jesse". It was directed by Rebecca Pryce. That's me in the last photo, at the end of the hallway. My scenes were filmed at The School of the Arts in Charleston SC. We spent a week there shooting. I had a great time and met a lot of interesting people, cast and crew. Some of the crew work(ed) on Army Wives, Talledaga Nights, Forrest Gump and The 5Th Quarter to name a few. The movie should be released sometime this fall.

While productively working as a model and acting in television, independent films and theater, 17 year old Spencer is set to become a model for a new line of clothing called Affirmation Apparel. Affirmation Apparel is the creation of Ken Canion, motivational speaker, radio talk show host and former star of NBC’s hit television series, the “Biggest Loser.” “I’m really looking forward to the Affirmation Campaign. This is my first major campaign and I’m honored that Mr. Canion selected me.”

Spencer’s recent television appearances include a commercial for Jordan Lake and appearing on the set of Tyler Perry’s, “Meet the Browns.” In addition to his new television and commercial ventures, Brill’s most recent film is a short by director Rebecca Pryce entitled, “Liberating Jessie.” Spencer is cast as a high school jock. The film is a drama that follows high school students through metaphorical and literal, adolescence angst. “Liberating Jessie”, is scheduled for release late fall 2009. Brill’s other independent film is “One Last Sunset”, produced by Maxann Crotts. This film is a horror short that follows two sisters trying to survive in a post apoplectic world inhabited by zombies. The film is slated for submission to the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and previews are set to be shown in Carmike Cinemas. “I love acting, especially doing film projects. It gives me opportunities to develop and express different characters.”

Spencer’s latest modeling ventures include print work for All You, a Walmart publication, and Mungo Studios. Brill recently showed his runway expertise by walking in a Paul Mitchell Charity Fashion Show and in a separate event, for the YCB Agency in their annual spring fashion gala, La Mode au Printemps. “Working as a model has allowed me to travel to interesting places and given me opportunities to interact with diverse groups of people. I’m really thankful for my experiences and I’m looking forward to new adventures.”

Spencer’s upcoming photo shoot is with locally renowned photographer Vickie Kennington of Dorian Eve Photography. “I’m excited about working with Mrs. Kennington. This is my first urban shoot and gives me a chance to express a different look.”

Brill’s latest auditions include Columbia Pictures’ “Battle: Los Angeles”, starring Aaron Eckhart. The movie is about a marine platoon fighting off an alien invasion. Spencer auditioned for the role of Private Imlay. Brill also auditioned for a role in a movie entitled, “Pitch Black Milk.”

Spencer will continue to expand his horizons by taking additional acting classes with accomplished actor Burgess Jenkins. Furthermore, he plans to continue his active involvement in the non-profit organization Hemophilia of North Carolina:
