Yesterday I was GOING to post an update but I was super busy. First I went to Kids Day at the US Open which was fun. If you don't know what Kids day is it's a day when the US Open (Tennis US Open not golf) invite kids and people to come and play games and stuff and there's a concert thing in the afternoon. Where professional players play tennis games for charity in the big stadium and Singers sing. Yesterday I saw The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Shontelle, David Archuleta and some band that I don't remember the name of. After I came home from that I had like a half hour to shower and change. I had to go to this family party thing. I was so unbelievably bored but the food was good. I didn't get home until like 10:00PM because my parents refused to leave. So as you can see I had no time to write a blog post last night.

School:
Uggh I have 1 week and 2 days till school starts. I think I'm getting my schedule on Sept 2nd and I still have homework to do.
List of stuff for me to do for school:
1. Finish Math Homework.
2. Get Nails done.
3. Get hair done.
4. Write stupid essay.

Speaking of writing remember that story I promised? I finally came up with a couple of ideas that are pretty similar to each other but I can't decide so I'll post them here and decide which one to go with later. There's no title for any of these blurb things so here:

Haven't you always wanted to be popular? Get everything you ever wanted? Well here's the story of a girl who by gets all that and she wants to return it.

She's a witch but what happens when someone finds out her secret?

She writes in her journal all the time, It holds all of her deepest darkest secrets, but what happens when someone finds it and threatens to release.

She ends up in an alternate dimension where she's with the guy of her dreams and she's popular finally but now she finds out it's not all it's cracked up to be and she wants out of this topsy turvey place.

She's landed her dream job. It's a story about her misadventures as seventeen magazines newest intern.

Hmm well that was fun maybe instead of a story I'll just keep writing blurbs on stories I should write. Please comment or drop if you would like to give your opinion on any of these blurbs that I wrote and which one I should choose. I may not write a story on one of these blurbs at all, as I've said before I haven't decided yet. Well anyway that's all I've got for you tonight see you soon :) (I'm getting better at this updating regularly thing aren't I?)

Well there's good news and there's bad news:
Good news: It's been less than a week since I last posted. Which means I'm getting better at this:)
Bad News: I don't really know what to write about today.

Let me see what has happened in my life..... Yeah nothing. Well there's 2 weeks and 3 more days until school starts for me unfortunately. Can't we have an all year summer vacation like Phineas and Ferb? I still haven't finished my homework although I'm nearly finished.with it. I'm kind of looking forward to school in a way just because it's something to do.

Remember that story I told you guys I was gonna write? Me too. Just checking if you guys remembered about it. I still have no idea what to write about . Ideas from you guys are appreciated. Which brings me to another topic comments in general are appreciated. I like comments they're fun to read and it lets me know people are reading my blog. So what I'm really trying to say is please comment it's real simple just press the comment button at the end of this post :)

Also I've sort of figured out the RSS Feed thing and now if you haven't noticed yet there is a button there that's telling you to add my blog to your RSS Feed. I think you should listen to it ;) I'm not 100% sure how to actually view the RSS feed, I'm not that far ahead yet. But click it anyway it will make me feel special.
. That's all the creativity I can muster to write this blog so I'm done for today. I promise I'll have the prologue or synopsis or whatever of the story I plan to write. And the first chapter done by my birthday (Check about me section). Thanks and goodnight!

So again with the extremely late blog post. BUT! I have an excuse this time. I've been kinda busy with the open house this week (See last blogpost) and other stuff. Speaking of the open house. I think it went well. I met some people, exchanged facebooks and the usual stuff you do when you meet new people. But I'm still nervous about school for the first day. I know I'm gonna get so incredibly lost the first day. Then I have the problem of switching classes across a whole building instead of 3 rooms on the right wing of the 2nd floor. Then there's the problem of the whole homework thing, For the past 3 years I have had a total of about 30 minutes of homework PER WEEK. I have no idea how I am going to deal with 2 hours+ per night. Then there's the whole matter of taking the bus to school, I will no longer be able to wake up late then run to school to make it on time. This is all so depressing :(. Speaking of depressing I have homework to do. At the open house they decided to give us homework due the first day of school. So I better start that. Any way thanks for reading. I'll be back hopefully tomorrow if not within the week.

Maybe I should change my update schedule so that I update every other day or something. Eh, we'll see I've only had this blog for about two weeks too early to change the schedule. Yesterday I went back to school shopping with my mom. It's hard to shop with my mom. She was convinced that the jeans I tried on were too tight even though I explained multiple times that they were Skinny Jeans.

Also last night I got literally an hour and a half of sleep. It took me until 5 AM to get to sleep then I woke up at 6:30 and I could not get back to sleep. Lately I have been going to sleep later and later simply because I'm not tired enough to fall asleep. This is slight worrying me but I'm just going to put it off on the idea that it's rather hot outside and I haven't slept in air conditioning in about a month.

31 more days till school starts :O I don't know what to think about that it's frightening. Luckily however I only have to go to school for one day the first day of school because the mayor is evidently very stupid. I start school the 8th of september and the two days after it are Rosh Hashanah (V.I.P. Jewish Holiday look it up) which means they have to give us the two days off. Why he didn't just have school start the next week is beyond me.

One last thing. I've decided to learn a new language with my remaining freedom (Spanish if your wondering) and this is a very good website to do it: Livemocha It's a lot of fun and you can get most of it for free if you help out other people with the language their learning. After I finish the Spanish course I think I'm gonna try Chinese. That's all I have to write about today thanks for reading see you soon :)

I know I'm a terrible blog owner, it's been almost a week since my last post. I don't even really have an excuse either. I just didn't feel like writing. I'm basically writing this to say I'm still alive. Also I'm excited for next week :). Why am I excited for next week? Glad you asked. Next week there's going to be an open house thing for my new high school. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I get to meet most of my future classmates and other people I will be spending the majority of the next nine months with. For those wondering when I'm gonna start writing that story I talked about like a week ago. That is a very good question and I will get back to you on that eventually. That's all I have to say today so I'm going to go watch House, see you tomorrow (hopefully).

So since I've had this blog I've mostly been talking about one thing: Writing. I have barely mentioned that other thing I do except in that about me post I did. So today I decided this blog post will be about My passion: Dance. Here's some info about me and Dance:
I have been dancing for about 10 years. I have danced a bunch of different styles which are:
Ballet (10 years)
Tap (9 years)
Jazz (4 and half years)
African (2 years)
Modern (1 year)
Latin Jazz (4 years)
Hip Hop (7 years)

I am also going to a Performing Arts High school for dance (specific one shall not be named) and during the school year I will constantly comparing it to FAME! because apparently that's what all performing arts high schools are like. One can wish. Anyway that's about it I think. Also sorry for not updating yesterday I honestly forgot :(. Thanks for reading see you tomorrow :)

Decision made

Ok so I have made a decision and there's some good news and some bad news lets start with the bad news so the good news will cheer us up :(

Bad News:

I will not be writing a fan fiction for Total Drama World Tour or for any other cartoon, book, television show.

Good News:
I WILL be writing a different kind of story. I'm not sure what kind of story or anything like that but It won't be a fanfiction.

I'm not actually sure when I will be writing about or how long the story will be or any of that stuff or even how often I will be updating it. But I do know that I will be writing a story. I'll have the details as I think of them as I find giving myself a deadline to make decisions just puts a lot of pressure on my self and since blogs are supposed to be fun I don't want to put pressure on my self. So as promised I will be making this blog entry extra long (or at least longer than yesterdays entry). I won't be boring you with the details of my day because like yesterday I did nothing of interest to anyone.
I've noticed I've always been writing my blog posts near the same time about 20 minutes before whatever show I'm planning on watching. Today It's Degrassi: The Next Generation which is one of my favorite shows. I have also been reading this webcomic Questionable Content it's hilarious. And that's about It, Degrassi's about to start and I think this is long enough. So thanks for reading and see you next time.

Writers Block?

Apparently I would be a terrible novelist, I'm always getting writers block which is why I didn't post yesterday. I never know what to write about. Well let's see since this is blog is technically supposed to be about my everyday life I'll write about what I did today.
I got up, brushed my teeth, watched tv, and showered. Then I got on the computer for a while, planned to go to the movies with friends then didn't because I had no money. So we hung out in the neighborhood. Now here I am writing this blog and waiting for the next new episode of Total Drama World Tour to start (in approximately 20 minutes), and here you are probably reading this a couple days later (unless of course you stalk me waiting for my next post in which case I should have way more views than I do have) probably bored out of your mind, about to close this web page from Lack of mentally stimulating content.

WELL, I've always wanted to try writing fan fiction and speaking of Total Drama World Tour I think may try to write something based on it . I haven't decided but I will decide by tomorrow (it is officially my goal for tonight to decide for you people who so kindly read my blog) where I will also have an extra long post to make up for this pitifully short one. Summer Goals

First I'd like to say today is my cat's birthday! His name is Oreo and he turns 1 year old today! Happy Birthday Oreo!!! Back to the post.

I know that it's the middle of July and that summer has already started but this blog is not even a week old. So I figure I should write down a list of things I want to accomplish this summer. (Note these are in no particular order)

1. Be able to do a right split
2. Be able to do a standing backbend
3. Stretch everyday
4. Write on this blog everyday
5. Write for as many websites as I can
6. Read 55 books
7. Read at the library for 40 hours

That's about all I can think of right now I may add more if I think of more. What are your summer goals and what do you think of mine? reply in the comments please

The Sorcerers Apprentice Movie Review

Yesterday I went out with my friends and we saw a movie at the local theater. So today my post is going to be a review of the movie we saw.

*Slight Spoiler Alert*

The Sorcerers Apprentice

Cast:

Nicolas Cage as Balthazar Blake: A sorcerer who is over a thousand years old who was once an apprentice of Merlin and becomes the mentor of Dave.
Jay Baruchel as Dave Stutler: An average college student who becomes the reluctant apprentice of Balthazer and is the Prime Merlinian.
Jake Cherry as Young Dave Stutler
Alfed Molina as Maxim Horvath: The evil sorcerer who is Balthazar's main rival and is trying to release the even more evil sorceress Morgana from her imprisonment in the Grimhold.

Teresa Palmer as Becky Barnes: Dave's Love interest.
Peyton R. List as Young Becky
Toby Kebbell as Drake Stone: A celebrity illusionist/sorcerer whom Horvath enlists to help steal back the Grimhold.
Omar Benson Miller as Bennett: Dave's roomate
Monica Belluccia as Veronica: A Sorceress who is the long lost love of Balthazar and imprisoned Morgana in her body when so she could be put in the Grimhold
Alice Krige as Morgana Le Fay: The evil sorceress who tried to take over the world and Merlin Greatest enemy
James A. Stephens as Merlin: The Legendary Wizard killed by Horvath and Morgan in 740 A.D.

Summary

The movie started with a prologue about how Merlin was killed, Morgana and Veronica were imprisoned and why Balthazar is still alive now, to find the Prime Merlinian. It then fast forwards to the year 2000 A.D. to a field trip for the main character, Dave Stutler, in 4th grade. Dave follows a note from his crush about whether she likes him or not that got blown in the wind. He follows it to a store owned by Balthazar. Balthazar sees him and on a whim has him try on the dragon ring. Which morphs into a ring for him which proves he is the prime merlinian. Balthazar then leaves for a minute to find a book for him. Dave however accidently releases Horvath from the outer layer of the grimhold. Balthazar and Horvath fight in a battle that ends leaving them both ending up imprisoned for 10 years in an urn and Dave seemingly crazy. Fast Forward again to the year 2010. Dave is now a physics student at New York University. Now that the 10 years are up Balthazar and Horvath both escape from the urn and Balthazar finds Dave and makes him his apprentice after being attacked by Horvath in Chinatown. Now Dave must learn how to be a sorcerer, get the girl and Save the World!

The Good

I thought the story line was great it was funny at the right parts and serious at the right parts. I enjoy movies about magic and I think the special effects were pretty good. The acting was also pretty good. My favorite character would have to be Drake Stone. He served as good comic relief for the evil side. Also the relationship between Dave and Balthazar seemed realistic.

The Bad

I don't think there were many bad parts. Somethings didn't make sense to me however. Like the Grimhold. If each layer held a person who tried to free Morgana shouldn't Horvath have been in the second to last layer not the outer layer. I would like to think that after they imprisoned Morgana they would have imprisoned Horvath at the same time. Also how Horvath found Drake Stone didn't make much sense to me. He just went to some food cart guy and showed him a symbol and the guy commented how he hadn't seen it in a long time. Who was this guy and how did he know about sorcerers and how did he live so long?

The Verdict

On the whole I really liked this movie so I give it 4 out of 5 Stars.
