Eating Black rice healthier diet

Health Benefits

Black rice is most common in East Asian countries, and it doesn't appear in America as often as its white and brown relatives. However, its stellar nutritional profile makes it a standout among rice varieties. Rich in a variety of essential nutrients and without the starchy texture of many grains, black rice is one food that can assist you in working toward adopting a healthier diet.

According to BlackRice.com, the nutrients found in black rice, including iron, amino acids, fiber and antioxidants, have the potential to reduce risks of cancer, diabetes, heart disease and Alzheimer's and may also have anti-inflammatory properties. In a 2010 meeting of the American Chemical Society, Louisiana State University professor Zhimin Xu reported that a single spoonful of the bran in black rice contains more antioxidants, fib

Love is like a Rose

Love is like a Rose...
We must plant LOVE
Into the One
We want to blossom,
To feel blissful
That we seek to be IN LOVE,
To adore and spend a lifetime.
Better or for worst.
Love starts off as a buried seed. ...
We must nurture and feed
watch as grows..
Add care when sick
Cut off whats bad.
And stand from distances
And watch as it grows with age.
In the early stages,
we must pay close attention,
As it gets taller in height,
it gains wisdom and maturer.
Forming stronger Stems,
Like LOVE pural,
it becomes IN LOVE singular
The One,
And ready for the Real WORLD and universe.
...And Say I DO"

Each line could mean more than just the words it self; you may have to look-up
and think how it relates back to human form or characteristics.

Chick referring to: Young woman, but not by age;
however, how much wisdom has she embraced.

Salad bar vs Fast Food Relationships

WHO WANTS A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP???

WHO WANTS A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP??? "Well, A Healthy relationship is like a Salad Bar and the Opposite is an unhealthy Fast Food Relationship"

http://www.startoverking.blogspot.com/2012/04/relationship-re-evalutation-test.html

A Healthy relationship
Its like a Salad Bar
that eats and talk right,
exercises its strengths
builds up on its weaknesses."

The Opposite is unhealthy
A fast food chain,
that likes things quick,
fast, greasy and oily,
acceptations of additives,
that clogs your pores,
unconcern of what can kill
So, lets diet and heal

Secret Service Scandal

In Colombia, the President Obama was suppose to give his speech for the campaign, until a secret service scandal upraised became to spread over the media. The top secret service agents ordered something more than just drinks and food. Some of the top Elite secret service agents order a whole around of ladies for their own secret special operation. The Agents received the list of whereabouts of the Presidents secret locations and more. These documents where out in open for any escort to breach the Presidents whereabouts with times and dates. Also, to share or to sell to terrorist or any threats. So far, only 11 agents has been suspended and 3 of them are from the highest level of secret service.

In other words, they couldn't wait until the speech was over to conduct their dirty deeds behind the President. Instead got busted before the Presidents arrival. Secret service agents minds are no different then cops. I guess when your surround by so many cocks, either you need to treat yourself or play with your self. They need to hire a better secret service party planner because this party wasn't a secret after all. At the end it was only because they were to cheap to pay the escort and extra $40. How sad is that? It took one escort to make headlines and now possibly a new realty show and interviews like all Tiger wood's sex mistresses.

Well, It looks like Secret Services Agents are suppose to handle everything and more... LMFAO!!!

Finding Ground

when your sad,

find a previous moment of happiness,

to make a smile.

when you cry,

find humor to laugh,

which is great for the soul.

when someone hates on you,

find way to say something positive.

Lets just say two negatives can not start a car;

Two negative people can not resolve an issue.

so share and grab some tissue,

and say how much I miss you.

In conclusion, try to maintain proactive,

seek to jump-start a new era,

perhaps a new journey into someone's life silhouette.

First dates: A gourmet meal and a movie in Venice

2012-04-14T01:45:00.001-07:00

Cinema Supper Club

Master Feast Theatre

A gourmet meal and
a movie in Venice BEACH, CA

Dinner and a movie has always fit squarely in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" column of classic date night moves.

Still, it can't hurt to switch it up.

And you'll find just that at Switch Studios, the place where Cinema Supper Club meets for a clubby flick-and-foodie night serving up double features, homecooked meals and signature cocktails on the third Thursday of every month.

Carefully curated menus are themed to the carefully curated films (like Revenge of the Electric Car followed by Monty Python's Life of Brian — think about it).

Capacity is only 50, so make your reservation well in advance, since these babies sell out quicker than Hunger Games viewings.

Show up at 6:30p for dinner, drinks, and to choose your viewing space: the THX-certified pro mixing room with a 15-ft screen for the cinephiles, or the more spacious and warm living room with a six-foot screen for the chatty, where talking during the film won’t get you snubbed.

Films start at 7:30p with an intermission made for mingling. And by mingling, we mean more of those cocktails.

Cinema Supper Club
316 S. Venice Blvd., Venice
(310) 466-3255
facebook.com/cinemasupperclub

Price: $10 admission for movies. $10 suggested donation for dinner; $5 for drinks
Reservations: Call (310-466-3255) or email here
Scene: Film buffs, first dates, neighborly locals
Hot seat: One of the Linea-designed leather sofas in the screening room, fireside on the patio in the summer.

Hello Ms. Urban Chick

When shes cold,
shes cooler than ice.
When she melts,
she gives men the chills.

She paid her dues.
A lady from the streets,
who seeks to accomplish

her million dollar dreams.

Her eyes seduces like the 1950s,
flirtatious as Marlyn Monroe.
Irresistible like The Queen Elizabeth I,
driving men crazy like the 1500s.

Sassy with class and style.

She doesn't prey like a bee.

Who is this wildflower Ms. Urban Chick?
with optimistic body language,
Such beauty, brain, and a whole lot more.

Sweeter than honey,
hotter than the Mojave dessert,
soft like a kitten,

smooth and pure like dove soap.

Stop! Wait a min!
Take in a deep breath.
Mingle and learn the art of an Urban Chick.

Lucky in love,
for the one that scores.
Play it Cool,
for he a ruse to win that second date.

Hello Ms. Urban Chick

Who is she???

JOKE of WEeK:Most functional English word S***

2012-04-13T18:07:00.000-07:00

The most functional English word

Well, it’s shit . that’s right, shit!

Shit may just be the most functional word in the English language.

You can smoke shit, buy shit, sell shit, lose shit, find shit, forget shit, and tell others to eat shit.

Some people know their shit, while others can’t tell the difference between shit and shineola.

There are lucky shits, dumb shits, and crazy shits. There is bull shit, horse shit, and chicken shit.

You can throw shit, sling shit, catch shit, shoot the shit, or duck when the shit hits the fan.

You can give a shit or serve shit on a shingle.

You can find yourself in deep shit or be happier than a pig in shit.

Some days are colder than shit, some days are hotter than shit, and some days are just plain shitty.

Some music sounds like shit, things can look like shit, and there are times when you feel like shit.

You can have too much shit, not enough shit, the right shit, the wrong shit or a lot of weird shit.

You can carry shit, have a mountain of shit, or find yourself up shit creek without a paddle.

Sometimes everything you touch turns to shit and other times you fall in a bucket of shit and come out smelling like a rose.

When you stop to consider all the facts, it’s the basic building block of the English language.
And remember, once you know your shit, you don’t need to know anything else!!
You could pass this along, if you give a shit; or not do so if you don’t give a shit!

Well, Shit, it’s time for me to go. Just wanted you to know that I do give a shit and hope you had a nice day, without a bunch of shit.

But, if you happened to catch a load of shit from some shit-head…………
Well, Shit Happens!!!

Trayvon Case ZIMMERMAN Finally in Jail

2012-04-12T03:18:00.001-07:00

April 11, 2012 TRAYVON CASE

AFTER 45 days of Trayvon Case... Nation wide protest and more ... Zimmerman is finally in jail for Second degree murder because of the tapes... A young teen African American boy wearing a hoody and holding a pack of skittles is dangerous ... B***S***!! A young sports young man plead for his life after Zimmerman killed him. Who was stacking who now?? Trayvon was just going to his fathers girl friend house in a rich neighborhood. Zimmerman gave himself up like an honorable man afterwards. There was no way he was going to win with baby shaking syndrome. I never hold of this kind of case. Anyways, Zimmerman two Lawyers didn't want to play a role anymore, they got fed up with Zimmerman defense. The cops knew they were wrong for trying to protect a races killer.

Prayer goes out the Mother and Father of Trayvon to see justice being serviced correctly.

This was for all races of color and not just for blacks. Travyon could have been any kid of color and killed the same way.

How you feel about this... and did you think Zimmerman was going to beat this??

New Audio Compression Ogg is Better Than MP3

2012-04-10T18:20:00.002-07:00

	According to Fileinfo.com

When you convert a wave file or audio CD music into a MP3, you are loosing sound quality because its like compressing 88822224455566666 into 8(3)2(4)4(2)5(3)6(5) But now with the new compression technology u still keep the sound quality and equal size of a normal MP3. Lets say best of both worlds in one compression .OGG

OggVorbis Audio File
Developer	Xiph.Org

Category	Audio Files

File Description

Compressed audio file that uses free, unpatented Ogg Vorbis audio compression; similar to an .MP3 file, but sounds better than an MP3 file of equal size; can include song metadata, including artist information and track data; supported by many software music players and some portable music players.
The Ogg format is a container used for storing audio data. The term "Vorbis" refers to a specific encoding scheme provided by Xiph.Org, the developers of Ogg. OGG files may also include other types of audio compression, including FLAC and Speex. However, these files then cannot officially be referred to as "Vorbis" files, since they use a different compression scheme.
