<p><strong>Hi everyone !</strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;m Eric, one of the creator of the Startup4Me initiative. Here is the little story of the french launching of Startup4Me. To sum up in one sentence : it did pretty well with little communication. Based in Paris where we have connections, this was naturally the first country we wanted to launch.</p>
<p>We&#8217;d like to thank the first french startup to post jobs on our jobboard which is <a title="Backelite" href="www.backelite.com" target="_blank">Backelite</a>. This growing startup develop mobiles solutions to big websites and companies. They&#8217;re currently hiring developers, consultants and sales people <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a title="Backelite Openings" href="http://startup4me.com/fr/?s=backelite&amp;location=&amp;latitude=&amp;longitude=&amp;full_address=&amp;north_east_lng=&amp;south_west_lng=&amp;north_east_lat=&amp;south_west_lat=&amp;radius=50" target="_blank">click here</a></span>.</p>
<p>In one week, we had 20 startups with 29 openings. We could find the different startup functions : development, sales, marketing, web design &#8230; in the major cities which is a really good sign ! We also had full-time, founder and trainee positions. I definitely thought that we would be overwhelmed with training positions. I was wrong <img src='http://startup4me.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Now is the time to get pressed and prepare the US and UK launch.</p>

Here are 6 quick tips for writing a good &amp; effective job posting. <span id="more-79"></span></p>
<p><strong>1/ Choose a clear job title !</strong><br />
And do not use a title too specific. Candidates do not necessarily speak your language.</p>
<p><strong>2/ Short job ads perform better.</strong><br />
Write a concise job description for job seekers ! Today, they read dozens of ads on several jobboards. If it’s too long, people won’t even read your offer. Keep that in mind.</p>
<p><strong>3/ Be attractive !</strong><br />
Write a positive job description. Put a link to some video, your blog or your Flickr photos (Yes, you can insert HTML on Startup4Me). You have to convince candidates that they can have a tremendous experience with you.</p>
<p><strong>4/ Always describe your work environment !</strong><br />
Every employee can choose a Pc or Mac ? You provide free Nespresso Coffee to your staff ? Mention it ! Generally speaking, describe your startup to let seekers visualize what would be an experience with your company.</p>
<p><strong>5/ Use the press.</strong><br />
Your startup has been quoted in different articles ? Say it and put a link ! Job ads with names like Techcrunch, Mashable etc. always have better results. You can also cite your VC or incubator.</p>
<p><strong>6/ Be clear with salary and perks.</strong><br />
Time is money. You can’t afford to lose time reading piles of cvs. Therefore, be crystal clear to have better applications and save time <img src="http://startup4me.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /></p>

Startups have the ability to create great products, services and applications that change our lives. Helping startups to hire the best talents is our way to contribute to this innovation.</p>
<p><strong>Startups must hire good talents to survive.</strong><br />
It&#8217;s nothing new, hiring good people is key for the success of a startup. But today, founders find it really hard to do it. Several solutions exist on the market but they have poor design, are expensive or have a very local presence. Enter Startup4Me. We want to propose startups throughout the world a good and free solution for posting job offers, search profiles on a qualified CV database and find the right people.  We will also provide career tips for candidates and online recruiting info for startups on our blog.</p>
