The first thing I noticed about Peace Love Mom was the "peace" part. Obviously I'm into that as you can see in my blog design! Peace Love Mom is totally me. I love the name, the designs, and the inspiration...not to mention their clothes rock! We were sent a Peace Love Mom longsleeve top, kids shirt, and canvas bag to try out!

The burnout long sleeve thermal top is too cool! It's a classic yet modern soft long sleeve shirt with a crew neck. It's somewhat sheer so I wear a Cami underneath, but it's not necessary. One of my favorite things- it's made in America! You can really tell it's a high quality shirt, and it's easy to show off your feminine side while still staying warm and comfy! I absolutely love the colors the earthy green and sky blue are perfect for me! Since I received this top...It's been my go to shirt as soon as it's clean. ...Basically I've been wearing every 4 days! LOL

The canvas bag is awesome! It's an A grade 10-ounce organic cotton canvas measuring 18" wide by 15" high accompanied by cotton webbing handles and a zippered pocket inside. The two rows of stitching across the top and two-piece satchel bottom construction of the bag ensures it's strength and durability. I really love this tote, I've been using it for grocery's at the store, carrying my daughters stuff around, and I cannot wait to take it to the beach in the summer!

We also received a cute as can be toddler shirt that reads, "Peace Love Kids." This organic cotton shirt is loose on my daughter and way comfy! She actually loves to wear it! Whether going to the mall, playing outside, or even going to bed this shirt fits all occasions and looks too cute on!

What We Think:

This specific Crock-Pot I had my eye on for a while, It's truly the perfect serving tray! The neighborhood my Mother-In-Law lives in is very ritzy, so when it comes to Holiday party...it's all about presentation. This season my MIL is going to have all the other housewives jealous with her triple dipper Crock-Pot. The absolute best thing about this is that you don't have to cook your fabulous dip and then put it into another container to serve it. It can be cooked and served all in one! There is also a super nice plastic lid that snaps in place to make moving your appetizers somewhere else easy as pie! The plastic lid goes over top each crock and each crock lid so it's definitely securely holding everything in place.

As you can see in the picture the Crock-Pot can also be filled with crackers, chips, pretzels, even tooth pics! They've really thought of everything on this one! Another great feature is the lazy Susan, Don't you just hate when you're a party and you can reach the food you really really want? What does it do?

I mean he pulled it out of the box- read the booklet- and used it immediately! At first I was unsure if it was working, then my husband pointed out as soon as the blue circles show you know it's working. The "blue light" is actually the UV light that is sanitizing the surface shining through to the top.

You can easily separate the sanitizing part by unlatching it in the back. Then pull of the top and you have the actual suction piece then you can grab little crumbs, and that works really well. We love using Verilux's CleanWave Vac, it's definitely something I would recommend for families!!

After a long process of trial and error, and over 200 prototypes built G-Shock finally launched. G-Shock is a shock resistant structure that overturned conventional thinking that watches are easily broken. Since first launched G-Shock has continued to evolve for 25 years retaining the toughness and spirit, and fashion of a truly amazing watch!

I was sent the BGA101-1B Baby-G model to review. This watch is apart of the Ana-Digi Mutli-Color Dial series. The combination of digital and analog timekeeping and Baby-G's signature colorful motif put together creates a cute as can be- tough watch!

This Baby-G features a multi-colored numbered watch face with metallic accents surrounding the watch face along with chaton-style bezel protectors. Also a gloss black resin band keeps it held to your wrist tightly and comfortably. This is an analog as well as digital watch. Ana-Digi Baby-G boasts shock resilient, 100 meter water resistance, 27-city world time, countdown time & stopwatch capability, five daily alarms, 12/24 hour formats and LED lights.

"Flair" is really the best word to describe this fabulous Baby-G. Dress up any outfit with a flirty timepiece. The adorable hearts are seen on both the hour markers and digital display and the elegant numeral are decorated with playful pink, light blue, aqua green, and a pretty purple.

What I think: I HEART THIS ANA-DIGI BABY-G! It's absolutely adorable and fun- I just love it! Before now I didn't think I was a "watch wearer." I proved myself wrong, because I can't keep this off my wrist. Let's start from the top, when it arrived it was in a neat little tin like this one

I kept the tin to hold other things! The watch itself is super cute. I have a really really small wrist- like creepy small. So it's hard to find a watch that looks good on me. The Baby-G isn't a mini-watch, but it's a baby. It's a baby of G-Shock. So yes, it's totally cute and looks great on! The watch band is a really bendable plastic and surprisingly it's still extremely comfortable. It was super easy to program, it took about 30 seconds for me to set the time.

My favorite thing about this watch is that when my 2 year old daughter grabs "mommy's clock" and drops it on the tile floor in the bathroom and I pick it up and it's still ticking. Yes! I can have a fashionable and quality accessory! I also love the font of the numbers, the flirty colors, and the hearts! It's totally me!

Hickory Farms Holiday Gift Guide (Review)

What do you think when you hear the words "Hickory Farms?" I don't even think when I hear those words, my mouth just starts watering- instantly craving the juicy pears and scrumptious sausage. YUMmmy!

This year is rather special for Hickory Farms. They are celebrating 60 years of business and commitment to always provide the highest quality and best-tasting food gifts! Hickory Farms is more than just food it's also an American tradition.

As a kid I remember every Christmas our Grandma and Grandpa in California would send us some sort of Hickory Farms basket. I would wait for it to come in the mail just so I could grab some of the fabulous pear and have my mom cut up some sausage. As soon as the holidays came around I knew there soon would be an awesome basket full of goodies on the way. My family- we are fruit eaters. When our basket arrived with Fuji Apples, Mandarin Oranges, Luscious Red D'Anjou and Crown Comice Pears...we we're in heaven! These are like the king of fruits- the best of the best! My daughter and I especially loved the Pears- they were perfectly ripe and juicy!

Yes, they are award winning for sure! The basket came with two 5oz packets of sausage. They taste great, I wouldn't change a thing. You know how sometimes you get sausage and it's too dry or even too oily and watery. Hickory Farms Beef Summer Sausage is perfect, it's "semi-dry" so it's juicy, but you're dripping with oil. And it's not too dry, you're not chewing for days, it's perfectly scrumptious! I absolutely love it! Oh and the basket is great! It's pretty enough to leave on the counter as your permanent fruit basket! You can even decorate it up for the season by adding a nice red bow. I'll be keeping this basket out year round, I love it for a table fruit holder.

Twister Mania- Holiday Gift Guide Review (TOYS)

Twister has been around for years, and it's always been a family and party favorite. Regular old Twister has only 1 shape and is only for 4 players. Well now there is a whole new way to play Twister. This holiday season for your get togethers Twister Mania for Kinect Xbox 360 is the best party game! With up to 8 players and 16 ways to play you will have a real party this Christmas!

How Does It Work?

The board is now the tv and YOU are the game piece, you must twist yourself in thousands of different ways to stay in the game.

You start out by choosing a game mode out of 3 different ways to play.
     -Party Play: During this mode you start out with teams of two players. You may have up to four teams totalling eight players. Spin the "virtual spinner" and follow the directions as you move around the mat. This mode uses all sorts of challenges as you twist and wrap around your teammate as well as your opponents.
     -Play It All: This mode takes you around every game challenge from start to finish, it's like an obstacle course and you have to pass to move on. Surely for the ambitious and overachievers!
     -Quick Play: Don't have time to go all out? Just choose which way you like to play best and your difficulty level and take a quick challenge. This is also great for when you are just learning how to play...like a pre-game for the big league!

After you choose which mode you want to play then you will be going into the challenges. There are four challenges and 4 variations of each challenge. A total of 16 different ways to play. Yes-Twister Mania will keep you and your party animal friends busy for hours!

Challenges:

     -Shape Frenzy: The screen shows an odd silhouette and you must fill it's shape, like you're standing in someones shadow. Then you get points depending on how good of a job you did. It's NOT as easy as it sounds...this gets very difficult and it's not like you're doing the same shape each time you play, there are over 1800 shapes to fit into!!!
     -Twist & Fit: HURRY! Don't hit the wall- the walls are coming at you with silhouette cutouts in them...you have to twist and hurry to fit in the wall without touching a thing. Hit the wall and you loose points!
     -Break It Down: This one is really cool, you have to work your way through a stack of blocks...by assuming their form but when a shape is removed the wall about will begin to crumble. So you have to be very careful and keep that wall up!

-Spot On: This one is to challenge up to 3 teams in a game of contortion like the classic basketball H-O-R-S-E so you create a shape and see if your friends can match it. So instead of making a basketball shot from a certain location...you have to twist up into a crazy shape and your opponent has to match that...or be defeated!

What we think:

OMG this game is no joke- it's hilarious. There are so many different games you can play that we literally spent like three hours on it one night! It's so funny to watch my husband- a grown man- standing all crazy with one arm in the air and one behind his back while twisting half way around and trying to keep one leg in the air. Oh and while you playing a game Kinect will take pictures of how goofy you are so when you're finished playing you can see how funny everyone looks! It's fast-paced so you're never really just standing around, it gets your body moving..but not to the point where you're sweating. There's literally hundreds of different ways to play so you're never doing the same thing again and again. It's so darn funny- you'll laugh like crazy! Twister Mania is totally for party's and families and would certainly make an excellent Christmas gift!

Vittoria Gray Plush
I got to try out the Vittoria Gray Plush. I heart these! Think about the ultimate MOM shoes...now add style to them...and 20X more comfortable! YES! That's what I'm talking about! These are fabulous and go with so many different outfits. It says plush because they're mostly fabric. Very soft, like boyfriend tee material. I was a little concerned when I pulled these out of the box because my feet are a bit on the large side. I was worried these would make my foot look bigger and wider, it's actually the opposite. My feet look smaller and cute! I can wear these with pants, a jean skirt, skinny jeans, just about anything but a cocktail dress and even then Vittoria's are so darn comfortable if I had to go to a cocktail party I'd totally want to wear my Hey Dude's! And the best part- I don't ever have to tie my shoes. Vittoria's can be worn with or without laces!

This Itsy Bitsy Spider kid book is the best version yet. Beginning with the normal version and expanding even further when the spider's climbing is interrupted by a fan, a mouse, a cat, and some dew before she makes her way to the top of a tree to spin her web. Written by Iza Trapani, this board book is perfect for children two years and up!

We love itsy-bitsy spider song so when we received this book my daughter was ecstatic to have more to sing! We're still working on getting the rest of the words down, but it definitely becomes a fuller and more engaging story. The itsy-bitsy spider goes on and on with new verses leading the spider into all sorts of new situations and challenges!

It's December 24th, and a kindly old man says good night to all the animals in the barn. As he settles into bed, he wonders when it's ever going to snow. He dreams that a snowstorm comes and covers him in a snowy blanket while he sleeps. Then he dreams that a snow blanket covers each of the animals in the barn, one by one.

This book is really too cool, Eric Carle is a HUGE favorite of mine and my daughters! The art is always fabulous and the books are quirky and neat. This one is especially neat because when the "blanket of snow" covers the animals there is a plastic see through page and once you turn it it reveals the animal. Very neat! My daughter loves calling out the animal names and she thinks the old man is Santa Claus!

Karen Katz is THE best. We have several Karen Katz books and she always puts emphasis on love and care. This book is different than all our other Karen Katz books, it has interactive gatefold flaps. Yes the flaps are fun, and great for toddlers fine motor skill, but this book focus' on a different issue...the potty! Ahh yes, Potty Training is such a joy. When we started out potty training I thought things we're going great and then it just became mute and now we are working harder than ever to get her potty trained! This book DID help her. In fact this book is all about the child getting their very own potty, so I pulled out my daughters potty that she hasn't even tried to use for some time and all the sudden she was interested! Katz also does a wonderful job describing how a gender-neutral toddler struggles to learn how to use the potty by thinking up excuses not to use it, etc. Yes. This book is awesome, I would strongly suggest getting this book for your toddler and THEN introducing their little potty as a surprise or gift.

Check it out Mama's; Fisher Price sent me this kitchen to try out and I'm going to tell you everything you want to know!

Recipe Cards:

The kitchen comes with 1 recipe card that holds two recipes on the front and two on the back making it four total recipes. This is what really makes this kitchen special and interactive. Each side of the recipe card also has a picture above that doubles as the kitchen window. The recipe card is already digitally programmed to tell you exactly what your making. Each button matches up to the recipe above it. Recipes include: Hamburger, Ice Cream, Tacos, and Huevos Rancheros. Definitely an awesome meal for any fiesta! The recipes cleverly include pictures of the ingredients that you will need. The pictures on the recipe exactly match the food that comes in Dora's kitchen! You can also collect additional play pack that include additional pretend food and recipe cards that unlock even more phrases!

Cooking:

Take an adventure with Dora every time you cook! Using the recipe card your little one will need to find each ingredient to make their meal. This becomes educational, where they will have to match the name in English or Spanish to the picture and then to the actual play food. This reinforces reading and listening skills as well as manual dexterity. And it's just like going on an adventure to find all the ingredients for the recipe!

The Kitchen:

Cute as can be! The kitchen includes a brightly-colored pink, orange and yellow stovetop, oven, grill, sink, and refrigerator combination for easy storage and handling of the included accessories. 19 pieces come with Dora’s Fiesta Kitchen including food, utensils, cookware and phone. It does require some assembly, but definitely very simple to follow and put together, it took me about 10 minutes.

What She Thinks:

I mean what more could a toddler want? Hah! Yes, my daughter is a Dora enthusiast, so when she laid her eyes on this kitchen it was L-O-V-E! Cooking "like mommy" is so much fun for her! I especially love the recipe card, because I can see her looking for what she needs and processing what else she has to find before the food is complete. Oh my favorite is every time the phone rings on her kitchen she picks up and says, "hello..byebye!" It's so funny to watch her play with this kitchen! I also love how neatly she organizes, like once shes done with some thing she puts it back into the refrigerator and shuts the door. Pretend play is really the best play there is. It gets their juices flowing and imagination moving! My daughter is crazy about her Dora kitchen!

Creaters Maia and Allan Haag received a personalized book for their child and while they loved that it was personalized, they had some ideas of their own. What We Think:

I just adore this book! It's so darn cute! What kid doesn't love personalized?? Actually what person doesn't love personalized?? I do! And I just love this personalized dedication page.

When ordering the book you get to add a little dedication page to your special child so they can look back on every Christmas! Oh and another thing, when ordering the book you may want this to be a book that remains special every year because your child had if from their first Christmas. So when ordering the book you can decide if you want it for their first Christmas the book will read, "Sophia's Very Merry First Christmas" if it's not their first Christmas it will clearly read, "Sophia's Very Merry Christmas." Either way this book will become a Holiday Tradition and your child will remember that part of their childhood!

I love how perfect this book is in every category. I mean it tells an interesting story that children love to follow along with, and the illustrations are beautiful and whimsical and scrapbook looking. It's definitely a plus the entire book is a board book, this way it will last forever...even through packing Christmas decorations every year! This book is gender neutral and recommended for ages 0-6. You can even take a virtual tour of the book with "first" Christmas on the cover and throughout the book.

Needless to say my daughter loves the book, I've been trying to get her ready for Christmas and tell her all about Santa so this really came in handy, and of course makes for a great bedtime story around the Holidays!

Then their is my favorite mode...quizzes! When I was a kid I LOVED to take quizzes...not much has changed since then. So I took the quiz to find out which Moxie Girlz I was most like...yeah I'm Avery! Oooh!

The game really does encourage girls to be positive and that they can totally be whatever they want to be if they put their mind and "energy" to it!

YES YES YES! This is something you should totally get your tweens into if their not already. It can be hard figuring out who you are as a young girl, but Moxie Girlz sends a great message "Be True. Be You!" My niece is nuts about this game, she's been playing it...for a while and can't seem to put it down! She keeps coming over showing me new modes and accessories that she's unlocked. It's definitely an exciting game and young fashionistas are getting intellectual play along with a wonderful message!

What We Think:

First off...Giant is the perfect word, it's about 8 feet long and 2 feet wide, measuring about three times the size of my daughter! To use the keyboard you simply unfold it on the floor, turn it on, and let the notes begin. The speaker has an adjustable volume...an obviously very important feature, but it will blast very loud! The mat is extremely touchy making it utterly impossible not to come up with a great tune. My daughter is in total awe over her keyboard mat and goes...a little crazy while playing with it. Her favorite thing to do on it is jump...and dance to her own tunes. It's hilarious to watch her play with this, definitely equally entertaining for both her and I! This is one HUGE toy that won't be overlooked or unheard this season. Let them dance and play themselves into their own rockabye sleep with HearthSong's Giant Floor Piano!

Who Is Going To See Twilight Tonight...Or The Muppets Next Week?

I have been DYING to go see the newest Twilight, which comes out in theaters TOMORROW night. I may possibly go, it all depends of course. But, what I am for sure going to see is The Muppets. I'm going this Saturday, but it will come out in theaters everywhere November 23rd. ..Don't worry I'll have all the inside scoop to that for you all..I'll be sure to let you know if I give it two thumbs up...or two thumbs down. Have you seen the previews? It looks hilarious! So anyways the reason I asked about these movies, besides the fact that I'm totally stoked to see them, is that The Muppets just released a super funny poster promo. Check it out:

Libby's- Keeping Families Happy Around The Table This Thanksgiving!

I absolutely love the holidays, to me it's a cozy, comforting time of year and I love spending it with family. Second best, I love the food! In the summer months you enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers and yes they're good, but by the time Thanksgiving rolls around...I'm thankful to eat great food!

I spend thanksgiving at my In-Laws, there's always at least 10 of us. So while it's a lot of cooking, it's time well spent with family! In the end, once we finally sit down, it's nice to get that one use out of the dining room table and all be together eating comfort food.

My father-in-law cooks the Turkey, my Mother-in-Law cooks the veges, and I cook desert! What do I make for desert? The same thing every year; Peach Cobbler of course!

My absolute favorite family recipe- Peach Cobbler is always at our table on Thanksgiving!

The Recipe:
-3 cans of Libby's sliced peaches
-2 cups sugar
-1/2 cup SYRUP from peaches
-8 tablespoons butter
-1 1/2 cup flour
-1 1/2 cup milk
-cinnamon

*preheat oven to 350
*in saucepan mix only 1 cup sugar, syrup and mix up well, boil and simmer for 10 minutes
*put butter in baking dish, put into oven to melt.
*mix the other cup of sugar, flour, and milk pour over melted butter
*do NOT stir, instead spoon Libby's peaches on top the pour then syrup mixture on top and a pinch of cinnamon
*bake for a half an hour
*add whip cream!

Yummy!! I can hardly wait for this Thanksgiving! Libby's always has kept our family happy around the table. When you're cooking for 10 people it's certainly not easy, Libby's makes it easier for us, and lets us spend more time together and less in the kitchen!

My Princess LOVES Her Some Water - Thank You Whirlpool!

One thing my Mother-In-Law has instilled in my since I was pregnant is how important it is to drink water. That's right water! Water is essential for the body and essential to clean out and and keep our body strong. I've noticed how much better I feel and how quickly I can loose weight and stay fit by drinking water alone.

Naturally, I'd like to instill the same in my daughter. In fact water is a must for growing bodies and little ones. They run around all day long and just like playing any sport, water is the best hydration! My daughter drinks milk, juice, and water. She's allowed one juice box a day, milk in the morning and milk in the afternoon, and everything else is water. She'll drink water after breakfast, after lunch, during dinner, and ALWAYS right before bed.

Her favorite time to have water is right before bed. I fill up a Tumbler with water every night on the way to bed, and she never forgets to get that last sip of water in before she drifts off to sleep.

She loves how we get our water too. Our Whirlpool refrigerator makes it very easy to love water! I usually keep a little stool in the kitchen so she can get her water herself and she loves being so independent. She tells me, "Mommy, I get water, I be right back." Whirlpool's refrigerated filter makes being a mom convenient. Our water is chilled and always clean and free of toxins.

I truly would be lost without our filtered water...and honestly if it wasn't so convenient, I don't think I would drink as much water as I do. Thank you Whirlpool, for keeping my family healthy with clean water!

Cinderella Costume (Review)

We had a very big event coming up, Disney On Ice Dare to Dream, so I needed my little princes to look like a princes. Who did I go to? Wholesale Halloween Costumes! They have the best costumes by far for any and all occasions! Because we were going to a Princess event, I knew I had to dress up my daughter, like a Princess! I choose the Girls Disney Ballerina Cinderella Costume to review!

This is an officially licensed Disney costume that takes the classic Cinderella dress and transforms it into a danceable costume! The upper is a baby blue satin with short sleeves and a crew neckline. The chest is adorably decorated with a silver brocade material and trimmed in a shimmering silver knit fabric. There is a little plastic emblem of Cinderella right in the top giving it a cute accent. One of my favorite parts are the sleeves, they are cut from a sheer blue fabric and give the costume an elegant air fit only for a princess! Then my favorite part is the sheer blue sparkling tutu skirt. I absolutely love the costume!

My daughter just turned two years old so she is still very young to sit through and entire Disney on Ice show, but she did. And, she sat through the entire show in her beautiful costume! She was quite obviously super comfortable. When this came in the mail and I pulled it out to show it to my daughter...she went crazy, she literally had to put it on immediately despite my desire to keep it in the package. Since our trip to the Philips she has been wearing her Cinderella costume at least twice a week, playing dress up!
