Workshop 3B – Track: Health and Wellness – Culture, Participation and Programs healthyAlliance; a Partnership in Building a Healthier Culture. In 2004, Alliance Data created healthyAlliance, a comprehensive health improvement program dedicated to its associates’ health and well-being. Its benefits-integrated, tiered incentive design boasts an 85% annual incentive completion rate. This presentation provides a program overview, including strategies for achieving 90% annual health assessment participation rates, 40% coaching enrollment, and 90% participant satisfaction. Attendees learn about the program’s impact on health related costs, including absence and presenteeism, and why Alliance Data was recognized for its wellness achievements by the Council on Employee Benefits, the World Health Organization, the American Heart Association, and, in 2009, the C. StayWell's David Anderson, Ph.D., to speak in Houston on January 15, 2010 StayWell Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer David Anderson, Ph.D., will be a featured guest speaker at The Houston Wellness Association's 2010 Wellness Symposium. The Symposium will take place January 14–16, 2010, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Speaking on "Health as a Core Business Value," Anderson's presentation will explain how companies are controlling cost trends with a leadership-driven, culture-based approach to population health management. Anderson's presentation will take place during the second session of the general assembly, at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010.
