HOTEL DELUXE. another Hong Kong comedy specially for Chinese New Year. there is always 2 Hong Kong comedy specially for Chinese New Year, and this caught my heart by comparing with I love Hong Kong 2013.

the movie is about a new hotel, named "Hundred Starts Hotel" which is a well-equipped five star hotel but running by a group of four star staff. every staff is kinda weird and acting strangely in some way but they have their passion for their job. *in a special way la. there is a rumor about a mysterious hotel detective to define the rate of the hotels, and there goes the movie.

thought I love Hong Kong is funny enough, but this is much more funny. Laughed non-stop throughout the movie. guess those who sit around me must be scolding me in their hearts. I just love comedies, it brings laughter and joy.

I love Hong Kong 2013

I LOVE HONG KONG 2013. been watching I love Hong Kong since 2011 and it's getting better year after year. for me, I love Hong Kong 2013 is the best among 3 of them.

I love Hong KOng is a typical Hong Kong comedy film that release during Chinese New Year which takes place in 1970s till modern times. the story is about how an honest village boy turns into a boss of a "dim sum" restaurant. and of course, the movie ends with a happy ending with the help of friends and family members and everyone welcomes Chinese New Year happily.

seriously, I laughed my ass off in one of the scenes. I don't hear others' laughing but my own voice in that scene. kinda embarrassing when everyone stops laughing but am still laughing like a freak. anyway, it's still a worth watching movie. a movie that brings laughter and joy on this warmth festival.

KLCC Aquaria

so, I went to this Aquaria in KLCC few months back, and I do feel like post something about this. *don't really remember when I went, for sure it's long long ago. actually walked from Pavilion to the KL convention center through the bridge. it's not really that far as the bridge is equipped with air-conditioner. *at least I don't feel hot walking.

#1 piranha is the must see thing. expecting piranhas look like what have shown on the screen.

#3 there is this hole that you can climb beneath so that u can have a better vision of the mammals.

the movie starts with a voice over telling a story of the Old Summer Palace and how it was destroyed and burned by the British and France in the second opium war. the movie is basically about a professional thief, Jackie Chan searches for a set of 12 bronze heads of the animals from Chinese zodiac. he planned to steal them and sell them to a selfish organization from the beginning and end up with giving all of the bronze heads to the museum.

watched this movie weeks ago and am sorry for not updating my blog. been busying with loads of stuff. according to what I've been told, this movie is the last action movie by Jackie Chan. in the movie, he is the director and also the main lead and he played both of the role well.

moral of the movie? bad guys usually lose at the end of the movie. it is an action and also a comedy movie, a worth watching movie. did laugh my ass off in most of the scenes.

Anna's farewell

this farewell thingy happened at least a month ago and Anna had left the University for good after her graduation in Putrajaya last month if am not mistaken. it is my bad for not being an efficient blogger because I need to help my parents with their business. *excuses. back to the topic, at least a month ago, it was a simple farewell night with only 3 of us including Anna at Tokio Cafe.

Knew this girl for a year through Manda and she is treating me like one of her baby girls. love how straight forward she is and she is there whenever I seek for help from her. Anna and I reached there earlier, so we ordered some drinks while waiting for Manda.

we chat for quite some time and I spend my very last time with Anna because am not gonna be around anymore while she is still in Cyberjaya and of course she is going back to Brunei soon. too bad my stomach is not feeling well with all the uncomfortable feeling, as we can continue our next session. lastly, wishing her with best of luck in her future.

Happy Belated Christmas to everyone. Xmas was 4 days ago and I was too busy with everything. sorry for the late wishes but I heard they say Christmas is not over till new year. I guess it is still not late for greeting everyone having a blissful Xmas and also a happy new year in 3 days.

my family is not a christian which my family does not have the exchange present thing on Xmas but I do exchange present with boy fie on every Xmas. not sure whether I care about the festival or simply because I love buying gifts for him

this is what we have for Xmas. our very first GAP. undeniable, the quality of the shirts are extremely good, soft, and comfortable. aside the price is slightly high, I have nothing to complain for this brand. thanks to boy fie for buying my very first GAP.

am not really a person who believes in God, but I would like to thanks to whoever in charge with the weather for giving me a nice weather while am having fun at Legoland on 26th of December. besides, thanks for not taking anyone's life from the flash flood on Xmas Eve, but pity my poor Myvi that got thoroughly wet from the flood.

absolute thai

it's another food post today. passed by ABSOLUTE THAI more than I can count when am either shopping or wandering around in a shopping mall. never thought of dining in because I don't really like spicy food. there is always a day when am really bored with the food I usually have and decide to try something new, and there goes ABSOLUTE THAI.

dishes with chilly are those that tastes spicy, so people who don't really like spicy food avoid from ordering it. tried the ABSOLUTE THAI at Ikano Power Center and it is not below my expectation. the decoration is unique with loads of Coca-cola wall clock hanging on the wall, the environment is cozy with Thai songs, and some of the staffs do speak Thai and even look like a Thai.

a quick reference for people who don't know what to have for their first time dining in. look how cute is the menu with a pair of steel fork and spoon right beside the dishes. John is being stupid by misgrabbed the one of the menu ones instead of the real ones. seriously, those look really real.

John all time favorite when it comes to Thai food, pad thai. this dish is yummeh.

though I have said that I dislike spicy food, but what is the point of having thai food when you are not having their famous tom yam, right? *my logic told the waiter that I want this to be less spicy but still, BOOM ~!~! was sweating, my nose running wet and my lips swollen right after having this. it would be better if it is less spicy, but still not bad la.

thai coconut. sweet like first love kiss, and it's quite cheap also. so it is a cheap first love kiss. forget how your first love kiss tastes like? try this. *joking

the movie Life of Pi is based on a fantasy novel back in 2001. the protagonist of the book/film, Piscine Molitor, who is known as Pi manages to survive for over 200+ days after a shipwreck with a tiger named Richard Parker. the reasons that stay him alive is the faith of him for God and also the existence of the animal that might harm his life when he is unconscious.

planned to watch this in Imax but Imax is kinda pricey, so decided to watch this in 3D. end up this movie worth it's ticket for a 3D movie. basically, the spotlight of this movie would be the effects used and also the dreamy fantasy places or scenes that most of the people on earth don't get to see.

moral of movie? it is up to you to believe what to believe in your life. you choose your own life.

4th anniversary

here it goes, the day had come. 26th of November, the memorable day of me and Mr John since the year 2008. I have no idea why am I still exited with the date since this is the 4th time of us celebrating our anniversary. simple because I love celebrations or that day is just way too special for us.

make up is a must for this special day but I just wear casually as we are going to a mall but not anywhere grand. Mr John is more a funny person than a romantic person; which is why I rarely get romantic surprises from him. and of course, I don't get any surprises on our love day because everything is planned by me.

had "Wat Dan Hor" at the famous Pan Heong Restaurant before heading to The Gardens. luckily the day fell on Monday, the restaurant is usually pack on weekends. went few times on weekends, usually went home with empty stomach due to the amount of people waiting for their turns. I repeat, people wait for their turns to get a table, the amount of people that wait for tables is crazily unimaginable.

had a bowl of Snowflake before movie. months ago, I dislike Snowflake and I have no idea why KL people is crazy for this because I don't really like what they are famous with. I have tried twice different bowl from Snowflake but I really don't like how it tastes and the reason I finish it every time because it is not cheap for a bowl of ice. by that time, I think Ice Kacang is way better than this till Joanne Hee recommend this, Ocha'ryo. am crazy in love with black sesame and green tea, and since then, I fall in love with this mainstream dessert.

after the dessert, it is movie time. I know instead of watching movie like any other date, we should watch it in either premier or even gold class so it outshines the special day, but I just simply think that doesn't worth. as long as we are still in love, we can celebrate anniversary every year ♥♥

I guess there is a black hole in my stomach; I eat a lot and I get hungry every 2 hours. which is why most of my allowance gone with all the food I had and fats attached on every inch of my body, including my face. planned to have Chili's since everyone is telling me the food Chili's is amazingly nice, but too bad, the restaurant is full house. then we head to Tony Roma's as everyone tells me the rib from Tony Roma's is superb, full house again. so we head to TGIF for our anniversary dinner as we were starving and couldn't wait anymore.

reason why I don't choose TGIF at the 1st place, we dined in at Pavilion's TGIF on our previous anniversary. reason why I chose TGIF, according to my memory, the food is yummy.

instead of alcohol beverages, we ordered slush and fling. we had alcohol drink last anniversary, end up both of us got tipsy after finishing the drink. green apple slush for Mr John and November Sea Breeze for me. apparently, ~~green apple slush tastes better~~.

the food. Mr John's championship BBQ chicken and my championship BBQ beef ribs. remember, pictures are for illustration purpose only.

what can I say about the food? hmmm. I think the alcohol did help the taste of the food or the dishes we ordered taste quite "meh". frankly speaking, I prefer the fried chicken from KFC than this championship BBQ chicken and the so called championship BBQ beef ribs disappoint me A LOT. had high expectation on the ribs. according to one of my friend, the rib is probably cooked with microwave which caused the rib to have shredded texture. you can call me "ulu" or whatever, the food we had do not worth the price.

it's our anniversary, and also exchanging present day. bought Mr John an ARMANI EXCHANGE belt because he's been looking for a belt since his previous belt failed to function. Mr John bought me an ANNA SUI perfume which is my first branded perfume. kinda buay seh saying out loud that I only got my very first proper perfume at the age of 21.

lastly, I would like to thanks this guy for being there for me every time I needed him the most. being as a mentor and also a listener whenever I bumped into any problem. he is my lover, my soul mate, my best friend and also my shopping partner. wishing to have a better anniversary dinner next year ♥♥♥♥

looking at those friendships I had, I was wondering, am I the one who should be blamed on all those friendships I used to have? undeniable, soul mates are hard to be found as everyone is unique with their own personalities and everyone is different with each other. therefore, it is hard for human beings to attach with others that might be completely different from them.

I don't actually have high demands on close friends. maybe am kinda self-centered, I just hope that people is treating me back how I treat them, as easy as that. seriously, no matter who, if you are treating me nice, am 100% sure that am treating you the same way in return.

no doubt, am a lover person more than a friend person. but am trying my best to be a friend all the while, am giving my effort, but the outcome is kinda disappointing. I did try, just that it is kinda abstract thing that can't be seen. after trying again and again, I get tired. tired of what I've been trying but failing again and again.

am boring. I barely have any interesting to talk with, but am always there whenever you need someone to talk to. am straight forward in everything. I show every of my expression right on my face and sometimes saying stupid things without filtering them through my brain. am stupid. even if you are treating me as a normal friend, I thought that you will be my best friend forever, so do tell me if I took it wrongly.

BR flavor election

~~sorry~~ for keeping my blog dead for more than a month. I know I kinda failed as a blogger, but please don't give up on me. I promise I'll update my blog as frequent as possible. *pinky promise. kinda motivated by the statistics of my blog in these few days. thanks to nuffnang for motivating me to blog with the readers I had for the past few days. and also, thanks to you, my reader. *flying kiss.

I was invited to the Baskin Robbins flavor election event by nuffnang at publika few days back. to be precise, 22nd of November, 2012.I know am kinda late for this, but late is better than nothing. right? it is my first time being invited by nuffnang, excited to the max on that day. am allowed to have a plus one to the event as a companion, and I brought John along.

reaching the event pretty early with only a few of the bloggers and of course, the people in charge. the event starts at 7 p.m. but we reached there at 6.45 p.m. because we left half an hour before the time given worrying that we might bump into any traffic jams on the way. who knows, it was our lucky day, reaching the destination within 15 minutes.

get to take picture with the mascot of BR. seriously, I did not edit this. this was capture coincidentally by John when the crew is capturing this picture with flash at the same time when John did. outfit of the day: M&G tee, Levi's jeans, Converse shoes, Vincci bag.

BR shirt was then given after registering at the booth with different colors and the sizes required earlier. just a question for the shirt, is the shirt supposed to smell weird or just the shirts me and John got are the only ones smell weird? seriously, I don't like the smell and luckily I brought my perfume with me. *just want to smell good throughout the night.

different colors of the clothes represent different teams of the night but the clothes chosen for the night do not represent the team we support. *this is what I thought because I voted for proudduck but grey is not the color of the team. there is 5 teams with 5 bloggers which are proudduck, kinky blue fairy, hanis zalikha, sixthseal, and ky speaks.

besides that, this pair of idk what were given with a bottle of water.

again, thanks to nuffnang and BR for giving a chance to attend this event. I had 2 cups of free BR ice-cream that night. I had cookies and cream and very berry strawberry. *slurp

John had only 1 cup because he thought he is joining one of the competitions which is eat as much ice-cream as possible in 2 minutes. but things did not go as he expected. he had a cup of world class chocolate.

the event starts with a passionate emcee who also able to sing and play with the keyboard at the same time. the emcee then welcome the bloggers one after another. too bad hanis zalikha was not there, but her representatives were there with passion.

competition between the bloggers which they have to finish as much ice-cream as possible in 2 minutes. there is 16 ice-creams and each of the blogger has 2 teammates in order to finish the task. sixthseal's team won the competition by finishing all the ice-creams on the table in less than 2 minutes.

the public is allow to compete right after that. there is 3 rounds for the public to win a month of free BR ice-cream. the best record of the night is the Malay girl at the middle. she managed to finish 4 cups of ice-creams within 2.5 minutes all by herself.

we left the event half an hour earlier to avoid traffic jam. congratulation to proudduck for winning the election by promising a free upsize for any double junior scoop for a whole year. not to mention, bumped into povy teng and bwincessnana. too bad I didn't take any picture with them because am not sure they are them, scared recognized the wrong person. argh! ~~they queued right in front of me.~~

Ninja Joe with Joanne Hee

This happened 2 months ago. Forgive me for not keeping my blog alive due to the final submission for most of my assignments. Getting a long semester break right after all these exhausting weeks. =D

2 months ago, Joanne Hee decided to transfer from KDU to ATC so I offered her to stay with me in Cyberjaya while doing all the tiring works. Decided to go to Mid Valley after all the *must do works.

Just a random post of me and Joanne Hee in Ninja Joe. Joanne Hee had never been to Ninja Joe, so decided to bring her there for lunch. Happy face for pork burgers.

TAKEN was screened in 2008, if am not mistaken but am not very into action movie by that time. maybe because am younger and I don't really enjoy action movie bah.

Decided to watch TAKEN when everyone is talking about TAKEN 2. because I did plan to watch TAKEN 2 right after watching the 1st one. there must be a reason for having the 2nd one, therefore, it gives a better picture if movie is watched accordingly.

Basically, TAKEN talks about a former CIA agent uses the skills he had to save his daughter who is kidnapped by human traffickers while travelling on a trip to Paris to be sold into prostitution.

Moral of the movie :

never ever talk to any stranger in a foreign country
never ever flirt with any handsome in a foreign country
never ever let any stranger know where you live or even send u home
listen to the old ones

Overall, the movie is good, good enough to persuade me to watch the 2nd one. Love the quote of the movie "they have taken his daughter; he will hint them, he will find them, and he will kill them", a protective father. It get my nerves in the film and the skills he used in the film impress me a lot, although it's just a movie.

RATE: 8.5/10

After the events in Paris in the 1st episode, the family members that are killed by Bryan while searching for his daughter state that they will find him and avenge to the death of their loved ones.

In TAKEN 2, Bryan and his ex-wife are taken as hostage in Istanbul. Basically, his ex-wife plays the hostage throughout the movie and his daughter did help him in some aspect.

The story line of the movie has nothing different with the first one. Although some of the scene still get my nerves, but there is not much surprises in this episode as there is not much different with the first episode. After watching till the end of the movie, feels like there will be taken 3 and so on. Overall, it doesn't impress me that much compare to the 1st episode.

Moral of the movie: never let your enemy live.

Syrian hamsters

did promise to post about my hamsters in my previous previous previous post, and here is the post. yes, FINALLY. I know I always post pictures about Chocolate, which is the 1st Syrian hamster I bought but never reveal any picture of my 2nd Syrian hamster, which is the Vanilla that I've mentioned in my previous x 10 post.

So this is the so called Vanilla on your left. Thought of naming it Strawberry because he is kinda pinkish when I first bought it. Did I mention I bought him for only RM7 but Chocolate with RM25? But then naming it Vanilla because he look fairer than Chocolate and Chocolate and Vanilla are always the perfect match. Also hoping they don't fight with each other because most of the hamsters with same sex fight till they are seriously hurt or even die. When I first bought Vanilla, I was afraid that Chocolate is going to bully him or even kill it because by that time, the size of Vanilla is 3 times smaller than the size he is now. But I was wrong about it, Vanilla is the boss in the cage playing the wheel all the time, even if Chocolate is playing the wheel, Chocolate will just leave the wheel and let Vanilla play with it. After a few months, look at him, he has shiny fur and his size is exactly the same size of Chocolate. Imagine the amount of food he had for all these months. I have to refill their food every 3 days. The amount of food is exactly how big the cup I used to put their food in.

Chocolate. No doubt, I "sayang" Chocolate more at first when I got it compare with Vanilla. Maybe he is my very Syrian hamster gua. Some more sometimes I can feel that he really understands what am talking, and he is undeniably cute la. But then I "sayang" both of them the same because sometimes Chocolate can be very naughty, especially at night. He'll just bite everything but not the chewy toys I bought for him. But whenever I stand in front of the cage, he'll just stop biting as if he knows that am kinda mad with what he had done. On the other hand, Vanilla, he is the one who minds only his own business. He is quiet most the time, and he does not do all the bitchy stuff that I hate Chocolate doing it. Simply behaved, I guess.

see how they get along with each other. Both of them just incredibly cute. Bought 2 male hamsters instead of male and female because I don't want to have more hamsters. 2 is more than enough. At least they have a companion. Although sometimes they do fight a bit, but they still sleep together after that.

This is the cage of theirs. The colorful ones is the additional extension after I bought Vanilla. ~~Hope~~ to have the whole thing in pink although both of the hamsters I have are male, but too bad critter tail doesn't have it in pink. Bought the whole thing for RM150++. Seriously, having a pet is no joke. The moment you buy a pet, you have the responsibility to raise them as your own children.

Dracula who operates a high-end resort where monsters and their families can live freely away from the human world. He is also overprotective of his daughter, Mavis and forbids her from the human world which she is curious of. Dracula's world when fall apart when a boy,
Jonathan discovers the resort and falls for her precious daughter.

I guess the plot of an animation movie doesn't need much confusion and it's easy to understand. The story mainly talks about how a father being overprotective of his daughter safety, especially from human beings. But movies ma, always have almost the same plot. What you are afraid the most, usually come true. ~~And indeed~~, his daughter fall for a human being.

Planned to watch this in 2D, but it is not available in most of the cinemas, so I watched it in 3D. No doubt, the effect is good, as in the 3D effect and also the animation effects in the movie la. Overall, the movie is full of cuteness and kinda funny in some part. A heart warming movie.

Pancake House

decided to update a short food post since am still awake at the moment.

blaming livita for making me stay up till this late.

regret after taking a sip of livita after I cancel my doing assignment plan.

PANCAKE HOUSE, mid valley.

been passing by PANCAKE HOUSE since the 1st day we've been to mid valley.

but am not a big fan of dessert, moreover a pancake.

in addition, I prefer salty food rather than a sweet food to fill up my stomach.

all the while, I thought the food are kind pricey by looking at the decorations.

that is one of the reasons why am not entering the PANCAKE HOUSE.

but end up I was wrong about it.

there was a day I was craving for food but not that kinda food that will fill my stomach but something light.

and PANCAKE HOUSE pops right in front of me. *fate

so I decided to give it a try because I can't resist the crave of mine.

when I glance through the menu, I got a shock.

the price is lower than my expectation.

not to say cheap, since it is just a dessert for me. but reasonable la.

there must be a reason why it's called a PANCAKE HOUSE but not other name, right?
according to my logic, their pancake must be pretty good with the name.
so I ordered a chocolate marble pancake.
thought the yellow thing on the pancake is a vanilla ice-cream, end up I was wrong again.
it is butter after I take a big spoon of it in my mouth.
no doubt, the pancake is yummy match with peanut butter, butter and also honey given.

~~totally forgot what juice is this.~~
by guessing at the texture, I think it's an apple juice.
100% fresh according to what is left in my mind.
I do remember I almost got choked by the apple residue.
by comparing the drinks with the food, the drinks is kinda pricey la.
but reasonable la, since it's fresh.

I have no idea why John ordered waffle instead of pancake.
according to him, he wants to try something different from the pancake.
so he chose caramel banana walnut waffle.
he kinda regret for ordering a waffle instead of a pancake.
because pancake do taste better than waffle.
not saying the waffle is not nice la, but their pancake tastes better then waffle.

overall, the food there is not bad. the price is reasonable. the environment is good for people who wants to chill after shopping. or even people who have big appetite like me that want some light food before heavy food.

wonderful world

watched this few days back in Mid valley for RM 9 per person.

usually will write a summary as a movie review. but not for this.

this movie wasted my time and I do not want to wast yours.

watching this movie in the cinema is a waste of time. not worth it at all.

this is the kind of movie that will be shown in my history of screen language class.

movie with hidden meanings about life and you have to find it screen by screen.

thought this is a comedy, but end up we are the comedy sitting in the cinema and yawning for 2 hours.

did have a thought of leaving the cinema without finishing the movie.

but I thought that there will be a turning point and the protagonist will totally change after a certain turning point.

end up I was wrong, we were wrong again and again in the cinema.

no wonder there is not more than 10 people watching that movie. NO WONDER.

the movie named as wonderful world, but the world of the protagonists' sucks.

his world ain't wonderful at all, but dull and boring.

doing almost the same thing again and again everyday.

the movie looks like an old movie with bad quality video.

the differences can be seen easily once comparing this to the movies noways.

blurry video, not so updated vehicles, bad color contrast and bla bla bla.

rate : 1/5

at least it is a movie with a meaningful message.

a wonderful world depends on how you see the world.

lesson learnt, check the rate given before paying for the ticket.
