Hey guys we will be out until next Tuesday travelling to Seattle for a wedding. We will respond to your emails as soon as we return.

A little random fact – Every time we travel anywhere for a wedding, Jen swells up and does the ‘ugly’ cry since she is going to miss our son Maddox so much. I pretty much can’t talk to her for about an hour or two until she gets through the emotions. Then, once she hears his name again, it starts all over. She is an amazing woman/wife/mother and her thoughtfulness and kindness are just some of the reasons I love her so much.

Another random fact – Anytime I travel anywhere without her, she does not do this so called ‘ugly’ cry.

2011 was simply amazing. We are truly blessed to be able to do what we do and we are especially grateful at all of the wonderful new relationships that we have made with our couples. Trust and chemistry are two of the most important aspects in documenting a wedding and often times, the first time we meet a client is on their wedding day. It is this trust that our clients give us, that allows us to capture intimate moments throughout their day and we are eternally grateful.

To each and every one of our amazing 2011 couples, thank you for sharing such an amazing year with us.

STEPHANIE&EDWARD+WEDDING – The Grove Houston

Here is a recent wedding we shot in Houston at The Grove with Stephanie and Edward. We get to meet some amazing people doing what we do but these two are really~ special because of how their story started. It goes all the way back to 5th grade when they first met. Edward lived behind Stephanie in the neighborhood. According to Quynh, Stephanie’s MOH, he wasn’t the sharpest dressed dude back then. Her words not ours. Well the dude must have picked up some issues of GQ or something because he started the first day of 8th grade looking dapper and asked Stephanie out. They have been together ever since.

We were honored that they wanted us to document something so special and dear to them. Something that started back in 5th grade. Stephanie & Edward – An instant classic.

Here is Adrianne & Michael’s wedding at the Mansion at Judges’ Hill. We had a great time hanging out with these two who currently live in California but decided to have their wedding here in Austin where they first met. Uchi , Zilker and Amy’s sounds like a winning combo for a first date and it sure was with Adrianne & Michael. On a beautiful day surrounded by an awesome supporting cast of family and friends, they started a new chapter in the city where it all started. Adrianne’s sister also gave a speech that only a proud and happy sister could give. Congrats Adrianne & Michael and thanks so much for letting us be a part of your day.

ANGELA&WES+WEDDING – La Villa Vista

We recently documented Angela and Wes’ wedding at La Villa Vista on Lake Travis and it was an amazing day. Sometimes we can’t put into words how amazing a day was and this happened to be one of those days. Surrounded by their wonderful family and friends, Angela and Wes started their next chapter together and we were there to witness it.

STEPHANIE&EDDIE+ENGAGEMENT – Houston Engagement Photography

Ok so it has been a while since our last blog post but we have a LOT of good stuff coming your way. We are going to start off with an engagement session with Stephanie and Eddie we shot at the University of Houston. Perfect weather, amazing couple and their awesome friends/assistants/dog watchers = an awesome session. They also happen to be from my old stomping grounds in Houston which was cool until they asked how old I was. They were like oh, you don’t look that old and maybe you know Eddie’s older brother. Burn~

After that we rocked a session that included a lost balloon, getting stuck in a dead end, gusts of wind, cooperative dogs, random stranger that liked one of the poses and wanted to jump in the picture, a few bottles of wine and a LOT of laughs. Good times. Looking forward to a lot more of it at their wedding.
