Frye Leather Care
To preserve the appearance of your Frye products, we recommend that you clean, moisturize and condition the leathers. To clean, we recommend using a dry, cotton cloth to wipe away dirt or dust. To moisturize, condition and protect against weather, clean the leather with a dry cloth and then apply a leather weatherproofing spray as directed on the bottle. A lot of weatherproofing products are oil-based and will therefore darken the appearance of the leathers. We recommend that you test any product by applying a small amount to a discrete area and allowing it to dry.

Natural hides, veins and markings
Some Frye styles incorporate leathers with natural variations, specifically chosen to enhance the authentic characteristics inherent in each pair. Some of their unique leathers include a high content of natural waxes that may rise to the surface due to a change in temperature–this misty coating can be easily removed with a dry cloth.

When I first met The Rumble Bootie, I thought, “Hey, you’re kind of badass,” so I decided to first pair them with skinny jeans and a vintage blazer to wear them out for an evening with friends on the east side. These ankle boots are pretty rock n’roll, so the skinny jeans, relaxed top, long necklace combo is super easy to pair with them. I felt very comfortable in this outfit and think the shoes gave the outfit a little extra pop of cool. Plus, I felt super tall, which didn’t hurt.

But these booties aren’t simply badass alone! They can also be girly and fun with a skirt and tights during the day. I kept to the taupe-hue for this printed and striped outfit and I think the booties blended in nicely with the other colors and added a little lift to the whole deal. I also think these booties would look adorable with tights and a little black or navy dress too, but I can only fit so much into one post! (Tip: to create the appearance of the longest leg ever, choose tights in a similar color as your boot).
