Meilinda BB Cream Fairy Blink

Meilinda caters to every beauty need from skin care to make up, from head to toe. One product from their makeup line that impressed me is the BB Cream Fairy Blink makeup base. BB creams were then trending because of its moisturizing benefits with fair coverage. Most BB creams I've tried have light to medium coverage. With my flawed and blemished skin, I always needed to mix a bit of my foundation to my bb creams for extra coverage. However, with Meilinda's Fairy Blink BB Cream, it's got great coverage just like foundations do. Although it's a BB cream, the formula is also thicker and concentrated just like liquid foundations.

Fairy Blink BB Cream is available in two shades Ivory and Natural Beige packed in soft squeeze tubes. For my skintone, the Ivory is too light and the Natural Beige has a pinkish undertone which just doesn't suit my yellowish complexion. So, I mix both shades and they perfectly match my skin color. The main thing I love about this makeup base is they effectively conceal my dark spots and pimple marks as you can see on the photos below.

Thai Trade Show 2016 to Happen in Cambodia

A glamour look is never complete without lashes. It just like a living room looking naked without curtains. Thai's beauty blogger collaborated with Nessychoice and came up with these beautiful, light as hair, and looking like real lashes but are 100% handmade mink lashes.

Two styles I got are Love Struck and To-Die-For packaged in sturdy and hard plastic containers in cute pink cardboards. As far as I know, mink lashes are lasting and re-usable for multiple times as compared to ordinary lashes. I tested these Nessychoice lashes and they are light as if I'm not wearing anything on my lids. Also, the bands are durable they don't easily bend and break which assures multiple usage.

Reasons Why You Need Chia Seeds in Your Diet: Swizer Chia Seeds

"Chia" is an ancient Mayan word which means 'strength'. Chia seeds come from the plant salvia hispanica which is a native plant of South Mexico. According to historians, this plant has been a staple food crop of the ancient Aztec people. Going back to its seed, it is claimed as one of the healthiest foods on the planet because it contains loads of nutrients for the body and soul.

You can research tons of resources online that has long lists of health benefits of chia seeds and here's some I found.
1. A tiny amount of chia seeds provides large amount of nutrients like fiber, protein, calcium, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus.
2. Chia seeds are also effective anti-oxidants.
3. Large percentage of carbohydrate in chia seeds are fiber.
4. Loaded with high quality proteins that aid in weight loss.
5. High in Omega-3 fatty Acids, so it's good for the heart.

How to consume Chia Seeds?

Heaps of recipes, tip and advice are available online on how to consume your chia seeds. Personally, I just put a teaspoon of Chia seeds in my glass or water tumbler or fruit juice. I let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes jelly like then drink away. I would also pour it into my fruit shake for extra crunchy bits.

How Chia seeds helped me

Because chia seeds absorb much liquid and turns to a gel like 'sago' or similar to pearls added in milkshakes,(only smaller) , it fills up my tummy, thus making me feel full. I add it to my drinks like water, or fruits juice from time to time, thus makes me feel full. In this way, I don't feel hungry and crave for food. This helps me control my appetite, thus helps in controlling weight gain. Swizer Chia seeds are packed in sachets, thus convenient to travel and carry around when I go to work.

This make up base is a soft and creamy mousse foundation that's easy to apply and blend. It's packaging is a beautiful white porcelain like material with a rose crystal design lid cover. This mousse foundation is available in one shade that suits every skin tone. I find it really easy to blend on the skin because it's very soft and creamy I have no problem using my fingers, brush or even sponge blenders to apply. I have combination skin which means some parts of my skin are dry and some parts oily but this foundation just does the job in coverage and consistency. The finish look is smooth and has a blur effect that makes the skin look perfect, specially in photos. The more the skin looks amazing when set with the Aura Crystal Powder.

Aura Crystal Powder. A long lasting mineral pressed powder that sets and perfects foundation for a smooth, flawless finish. This sheer 2 way powder is oil free and oil absorbing with vitamin E for the mot comfortable wear.

The mousse foundation alone creates an amazing flawless and smooth base but this compact powder makes it even more perfect. Result is excellent specially in photos no photo retouching is required. As mentioned earlier, it creates a skin blur effect that makes the skin appear smooth and flawless.

Crystal 3D Blusher. This contains vitamin E and jojoba to enhance ease of application and to nourish the skin. Prevent pores from clogging an suits every skin type. The pigment makes it virtually rub-off proof and water resistant. Lifts all skin types with radiance.

This blush is also in a creamy mousse consistency that's super easy to apply and blend. It gives a beautiful radiant effect that can also serve as a highlighter. I love it that it creates a healthy rosy blush effect.

Crystal 2 in 1 Lipstick. This 2 in Lipstick has a concealer that is used as a base to prep the lips before applying the lipstick, or can serve as a modifier to lighten the shade of the lip product as desired. The lipstick also comes with a brush applicator for convenience. The cream concealer does it's just to even out lip pigment so the lipstick's color appears even and vivid. The cream and lipstick work well together and leaves a beautiful finish.

Earth inspired hues are out and about for this year 2016's makeup trend. Nude to brown lip colors are seen every where in the runways, magazines, celebrities and makeup sites and stores. Sugar Box by Belov wouldn't let their collection be left behind with this juicy and creamy lip gloss but I consider it a lip cream.

Belov's Sugar Box Lip Gloss is contained in a NOT cheap acrylic lip cream container with a doe foot applicator. One containes about 6.5 g of product in it. I have got the shade in Color 10 which shows the photos/swatches above. This lip gloss has a rich pigmentation with smooth, glossy finish that has microsparks and shimmer in it that almost appears velvety satin. It doesn't appear patchy nor clumpy when applied. It doesn't have the oily, waxy feeling on the lips. I love to pair this lip gloss with deep, dark and dramatic eyes. It's such a pain for most Asian women to have short and thin lashes. I myself envy other girls with long, thick and curly lashes that I obviously do not possess. Wearing false lashes all the time may become inconvenient with all the trimming and gluing and retouching every time. Eyebrows frame the face and it should be well groomed and shaded for a neat and pleasant look. Sugar Box by Belove created lovely brow pencils to transform our brows from bad to fab. Here's why this brow pencil is my first choice over brow powders.

Cream blushes create glowing cheek colors like they radiate right beneath from your skin. That's why I prefer this over powder blushes when I go for healthy and fresh looking makeup. Also one thing I love about cream blushes is that they can be multipurpose. They're not just blushers, but lip tints and or eye primers as well. I got sent the Sugar Box Face Blusher Stick, a blusher and lipstick in one and it's in shade no. 02. Shade no. 02 is a rich baby pink color. This color best suits fair complexion. It shows up so much better and brighter on fair skin tones than on deep skin tones. The consistency is soft, creamy and very blendable. You can control how rich you want the color can be from faint to light to vivid.

The good thing about cream blushers over powder ones is that they appear fresh and natural like you've got those rosy cheeks after playing under the sun. The color appears flushed and diffused like it's coming right from under the skin. Unlike powder blushers that just sit on the skin. Aside from being a blusher, it also serves as a lip tint or lip color. I lightly apply it on the lips then distribute all over the lips for a baby pink tint. For ombre lips that's common in Korean makeup trend, just dab a little in the middle of the lips then blend the edges.
