I am looking for someone in Stellenbosch to go to the crafts store (I can show you a picture), purchase the item, and ship it to me in the USA. Willing to pay a premium for your time, above the price of the item and shipping.

Key responsibilities:
Responsible for all design work from start to finish.
Layout of professional and visually appealing documents for corporate proposals and corprate image.
In touch with design trends and print processes.
Assist in creating templates, guidelines and procedures for our corporate clients.
Creating mock-ups to supply printers.
Meeting with our printers and clients and co-ordinating the print jobs.
Meeting with clients to get a descriptive briefing and set the standards for the production process.

Requirements:
Ability to adhere to deadlines.
Attention to detail is critical.
Work effectively under pressure.
Ability to conceptualise and take iniative.

Prospective applicant MUST:

 live in Stellenbosch
 have good communication skills (English)
 be able to read and write (English)
 have a genuine love and enthusiasm for caring for both infants and older children
 have childcare experience (from newborns through to primary school children)
 have housekeeping experience
 be enthusiastic and willing to learn on the job
 have a solid work ethic
 have a confident, friendly and pro-active approach
 have a valid work permit/residency in South Africa
 be a non-smoker

The position would be ideal for a post-graduate student, as it is often quiet, allowing the person time to study/work on their thesis etc (and still get paid!). Alternatively this might be a good option for someone who already has a part-time job, but would like to supplement their income.

Applicants need to know Stellenbosch and the winelands well, have some previous experience in customer service in the hospitality industry (hotel, waitering or winefarm experience), be well presented and have excellent English and Afrikaans verbal and written communication skills.

The types of duties this person will be expected to undertake include:
- Managing reservations and guest correspondence
- Doing guest check-ins and check-outs
- Providing information and recommendations for tourist attractions and places of interest
- Booking day tours and making dinner reservations
- Overseeing housekeeping staff
- Assisting in the preparation and serving of breakfasts
- Running the bar in the evenings
- Doing the evening turn-down service
- Being on 24 hour stand-by when owners are away.

B Com Financial with Hon, CA or CIMA

· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

· Knowledge of finance principles

· Previous experience of general accounting

· Proficiency in relevant accounting software (Syspro, Accpac)

· Manufacturing or project environment

· Prepare journal entries

· General Ledger operations

· Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements

· Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts

· Draw up monthly financial reports

· Assist with year-end closings

· Assist in preparing budgets and forecast

· Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

· Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

· Prepare financial management reports

· Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

· Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures

· Monitor and support taxation issues
