Since we’re coming up on a new decade, there’s a lot of looking back on the one that’s closing. Today I was thinking about how much progress could be made on something when you put in a little bit of time, repeatedly, over a few years. Like a story that I began writing probably 10 years ago, and never got far. What if I had written a couple paragraphs a week? What would that story look like now, 10 years later?

More importantly: what am I putting off right now, that if I put consistent small efforts in over the next 10 years (or even just 1 year), could be something really great?
