Beautiful French Girls! Columbia, SC Photographer

I had some gorgeous visitors over the past two weeks, in the form of my husband’s cousin and her two roommates. They were visiting from Paris, and were staying in Chicago. They decided to come and spend a couple of weeks with us before they head back home. I just knew their beautiful faces had to be photographed! In the midst of driving around town, going out dancing, and shopping of course, we went to Lake Murray in Irmo, SC and hung out by the lake near sunset. I think these beauties are so photogenic! We had so much fun together, and I was happy to create these photographs for them to take back to Paris and remember their time here with.

Well, guys, 2012 is over! I know I’m not the only one to say it, but this year has gone by faster than any other in my life. It’s bittersweet! The fast-paced rhythm that I’ve been on this year has been awesome, but I don’t want it all to fly by so fast! I want to stop and enjoy every single minute. So here are some of my favorite photos I took in the amazing year of 2012 – one of the best years so far in my life. They are kind of all over the place. A lot of them are from my professional shoots, but I definitely have ones I took just for myself in there, too.

I wish all of you the most wonderful New Year, and I can’t wait to be a part of making new memories and capturing those memories with you. If you thought 2012 was awesome, just wait until you see what I have planned for 2013!

Every year, Kim and Chad hire me to take their family portraits, and every year I have so much fun! There’s not much to say beyond what I’ve said in these blog posts the previous years, so I’ll keep it simple. I love you guys so much! Ellie and Michael are family and so smart and funny and adorable. I always wait until after Christmas to post these on my blog, because I know you give them as Christmas presents, so it’s always fun to finally be able to share these photos. We started by hanging from the trees…..

This is one of my favorite photos – Michael’s smile here is so full of life and sweetness.

I am in love with this family. This is the second year I’ve been blessed to take their family portraits, and I feel so lucky to know all of them. You can see last year’s session here. I love watching these kids grow up! Blake and Jeremey have the most dynamic, fun personalities. These boys are wise beyond their years, and I am always laughing and smiling during these portrait sessions! Lisa is beautiful, as always, and this beauty just shines from the inside out. She is so devoted to her family, and she and Shane really have so much to be proud of.

Love you guys! I’m so blessed to know you, and I love the fun we have together!

Mom, Dad and the Girls – Greenville SC Family Photographer

A few months ago, I dragged my Mom, Dad, and Sister out into my parents’ back yard to grab some family photos. It was painful, and stressful, but as always, it was worth it. I set up a tripod and my Pocketwizards, and ran back and forth between the camera and the “stage.” This is how I grew up, since I had no extended family to really speak of in the United States. It has always been just the four of us my whole life, and I love this photo. Now I’ve added to the family in the form of my husband, Otman, and things are awesome. He was working and couldn’t be in the photo, but I know he was there in spirit. Happy Thursday!

Now that the holiday madness is starting to subside, I can get back to blogging and keeping you all updated on my photographic adventures!!!

I started my season off with Kimberly, Chris and the adorable Carter! I don’t think there is any other little boy out there that can rock a bow tie like Carter. He is such a sweet little boy, and he just melted my heart every time his shoe came untied and he said, “help, help!” in that little voice.

I loved photographing this awesome little family! We met up at a beautiful local park to hang out. The weather was great, and the smiles were plentiful. Enjoy the photos!

As promised, I’m sharing Traci and Todd’s wedding photos! Traci and Todd were married on October 20, 2012 at the Holiday Inn in Charlotte, NC. They had a beautiful rooftop ceremony, followed by a fun, fabulous reception! It was tons of fun and there was so much love filling the air. It was a joy to work with Traci, Todd, and all their friends and family. Everyone was so relaxed and happy. It really makes my job super fun when everyone is so easy-going and full of smiles! Traci’s boys were complete charmers and really loved being in front of the camera! There was never a dull moment. Just how I like it!

Traci and Todd, thank you SO much for including me in your special day. I hope this blog post finds you having the time of your life on your cruise!!!
