Time and time again I hear the haters and the baiters, children; why are you waiters? Don't you hear them calling?

Hi everyone, this is an official notice to let everyone know that I am back. I was without my computer for a while. That is all settle now and I can get back to witnessing and writing and sharing for my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I trust that everyone had a blessed and safe Christmas and New Year. Mines was blessed even thou I was sick with the flu all of December but I have gotten over it and I am feeling pretty good in my body and my spirit. I am looking forward to writing more books and doing bigger and greater things.

Twilight in the Hood

Faith

Faith is more than a word, you see. Faith has substance, faith can be. It can walk, it can talk, and it is always on the move. It can be small it can be big; it is most certainly not a pig. It only takes a little to get to the middle. There is nothing to fear, if you have the faith, so always keep the faith, wherever you are, keep faith in your heart.

Dying

From the moment of birth the wheels are set in motion, don't you know that it is our portion? The portion of life the portion of health, you are dying. You're crawling on the floor? Time is passing by you. You lift your head you're walking up instead. You hear your heart beating and wonder what's so fleeting. You are dying, dying from lack of hope, dying for there is no coping. You're wondering what it is all about, the pain the confusion, is it all an illusion? No, my friend. I will tell you the solution, but first let us take a look at what caused this infusion. There once was a man named Adam and a woman named Eve. I tell you. God gave them all that they would ever need, but they took it all for grant and they gave Satan the planet and that is what cause death to make a landing. Now, this is the solution. God sent a revolution; he came to earth to give us all new life. Even though, we may die in the flesh, we have overcome death and in the end we will all live again.

Abused

Abused and do not even know it. What is it going to take to show it? Time and time again, all caught up in a spin. Abused and do not even know it. Don't you want to let them in; even thou they have sinned? Abused and do not even know it. Mama and daddy have friends, they all sit and grin. Abused and do not even know it. Make a choice, let them hear your voice. You can win; just do not bend. Abused and do not even know it. Take a chance; call this stuff in. Don't let them rule you. God will school them. Abused and do not even know it.

A Message for the People

Look up! Give thanks on this day to the Lord above. For whether you know it or not, you are his beloved. He will give you food for your body and clothes for your back and no you do not have to pay him for that. He knows all and sees all and that is a fact. He just wants you to make a pact.

He is the source for your spirit that is never ending. All he wants you to do is make a new beginning. So, reach up to the Lord from on high who is saying. "Do not worry; I will be there in a hurry." So, before it is too late and you do not get in the gate. Give your life so that you can tell the story, of the one true God, let us give him the glory.

Money

Money, what can be said about money? Money tows the line, money maybe kind. Money you cannot trust, money may even rust. Money, what can be said about money? Money pays the bills; money gives you thrills, money gets you over the hill. Money, pays you back, money keeps you on track. Money, what can be said about money? It has been said that money can be funny, and it pays playboy bunnies. Money's at the root, it can be a hoot, but let me take you back a minute, cause you know that I am in it . In the beginning was God and all things were created by him. God has no problem with them. It is not that money is evil, the problem is with the people. So, trust God and not your money and he will give you all of his honey.

My Son's Movie

Hi everyone and Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a blessed holiday season; I know I did. It was the best one yet; my family and I enjoyed being with one another. Well, it is another year filled with new hope and new life and great opportunities. I would like to share this video of a movie that my son is playing in. It is called "Rum Smoke". He plays the henchmen or bouncer for the loan shark in this picture. He also wrote and sung the song "Fallen Angel" that is featured in the movie. Here it is hope you enjoy it.

Angels Are Watching

Angels - Celestial beings, heavenly host, God's messengers.

      Angels are they real or fiction? Or, are they just some mythical creatures from long ago? I personally believe that Angels exist, not just because the bible says so but because I have had a close encounter with the heavenly kind. Here's my story: It was one winter night, my family and I had gone to bed. Before I went to sleep; I prayed a prayer asking God to place his Angels around my family to keep us all safe as we slept. I went to sleep along with my husband and our then 6 children.
     Sometime later I was awaken, something or someone drew me toward our living room. I walked up toward the center of the room, I felt like there was a force of some kind trying to pull me down to the floor. I fought it; I felt an urge to wake up my husband. He wouldn't wake up; I persistly pulled at him and said; baby get up! We have to get the children out of the house. Finally, he moved, but he keep passing out, I kept pulling on him until we began to quickly get our 6 children out of the house. We took them out through the back door because we couldn't go out the front.
     Well, I am happy to say that we all survived. What it turned out to be was; that earlier that day we had a gas heater installed in our house. It was not installed properly, so carbon dioxide had escaped from it and that was the force that I was fighting. As everyone knows, you can not smell carbon dioxide. I didn't smell anything I could feel it and God lead me to get my family out. We should all be dead, but God did exactly that I asked him to do that night. He put his Angels around us and protected my whole family. So, I truly believe that Angels do exist and that they are watching over us everyday. If you have had an experience with Angels, I would love to have you share it here on my blog. So, please comment; tell me about your close encounter of the heavenly kind.

Favorite Things to Do for Christmas

Hi everyone, Let's talk about our favorite things to do for Christmas. I will start, I like to hang stockings and Christmas cards on the front of my kitchen island. I like to light candles and say a prayer on Christmas eve and say happy birthday to Jesus. I like to bake Christmas cookies and open one present at midnight on Christmas day. I like singing Christmas carol and reading the passage from the bible about Christ birth Tell me what are some of your favorite things to do for Christmas in the comments below. I'm a big fan of chick lit so the short stories are outside my normal genre. Nevertheless, I did find the stories interesting. I gave the book five stars because I loved the poetry. It was very inspirational and heartfelt.

A very sweet book filled with short stories and poems written in an easy to read understandable way. This book is nspiring and the stories read well. It is a family book because it is non offensive, sensitive and offers a lot to learn in terms of morals and values. The author writes very subtlely where at points I could almost imagine a slight whisper as I coul hear the words in my head.She is very descriptive at points and there are messages to her stories.

Today is Sunday November the 24th 2013, it is a day that we have not seen before and it is a day that we will never see again. I thank the Lord for blessing it when he created it. It's My Birthday

Hi everyone, yesterday was my 56th birthday. I had a good one, my parents took me shopping and bought me a new coat. I danced and I laughed, it was a very good day. It is a blessing to still have my mother and my father still alive and well. I just love them both so much; bless their little hearts. I am totally spoiled rotten and I love every minute of it. Here's a picture of me and underneath is a picture of my granddaughter, and the last one is my mother, its she beautiful, she is 82 yrs old.

I love to talk to other authors, we can share tips on how to publish our work or marketing tidbits. I have been writing since 2007, I got a late start at it. After the death of my husband back in 2006, my life took a new direction. God lead me in to writing; that's when I wrote my first book called 'No Separate Roses". It was published in 2008. It is a collection of poetry which have a rap flare to them with each containing an inspirational message. You still can find it on the web at just about all the book sites, like Amazon, books million, Barnes and nobles and good reads. You can also read some samples of my writing hear on my blog under the writing tab. I am still learning new things so I welcome any help or suggestions what anyone may have. I want to get my writings out there, not because of fame and fortune. But because I have a message to bring to the masses, a message of hope and love and kindness. So if anyone out there could tell me how I can do that better than what I have been trying. Please let me know, I am on a mission from God and I am not giving up. If you would like to become a part of that mission. Which is to enlighten and inspire people and shine the light on God's word and lead someone to Christ. Writing again

Hi everyone, it is me again. How are you doing today? I am blessed and highly favored of the Lord. Well, I don't know whether anyone has been noticing it are not, but I have not been writing much these days and I just don't mean on my blog. I haven't been writing any books or poems for about 8 months now. But, I am happy to report that a few days ago I wrote a poem that I think is pretty good, even if I must say so myself. Now, that is just one woman's opinion; that's why I would like to know what you think about it. So, I am going to post a part of it here on my blog for all to read it. What up! bloggetts and blogger duds,

Here's hoping that you all have had a super terrific day today. Mines was great! I spent the whole day at the doctor's. I had an appointment for a follow up and ended up with a bunch of shots, but it is all good. I also had to go early this morning with my mother for her colonoscopy, yipes!!! That was not any fun especially not for my mother. But, all is well, she came thru it like a trooper; that's my mom for you a great lady. She is kind and loving and has a great sense of humor; just the most beautiful woman that I know. She is my hero, she is strong and intelligent and full of grace. When people meet her they don't even know that she is blind. That is right, totally and completely, she has been that way for most of her life. The amazing thing about her is that she did not let that stop her from doing anything that she wanted to do. She cooked clean and took care of her three children. She did everything but drive a car. Even, with that she could tell you what route to take to get to California from Birmingham and back. She is 82 years old now and still an inspiration to us all. So, I would like to say to everyone who is middle aged and you are still blessed to have your mother and father here on this earth with you. Stop right for a moment and take the time to call and say I love you, if you have not done so today, are if your parents live with you go give them the biggest hug you have ever given them. I love you mom and dad; and thank you for all that you do for us. God Bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Today is a very special day, 26 years ago on this very day, I gave birth too two of the most precious and beautiful bouncing baby boy twins. They took their place as number 5 and number 6 in our family. Oh my, I just notice that their order of birth numbers adds up to 11 and they were born in the 11 month on the 11 day, that is amazing and also I will be 56 on 11/20/13 Wow! that interesting. Well, I just wanted to share that with my blog friends and family

I Am Only Human

Well, I did it again. It has been 8 days since I wrote on my blog. It was not my intention to do so, I allowed myself to be distracted by other things. I will do better, I will not give up. I am only human, we do drop the ball every now and then but we must keep pushing and trying to get it right. I know that I am not the only one who sometimes are like me a lot of times mess up. My message to you is. If you don't get it right the first time get back in there and keep trying until you succeed at what every you put your mind at to do. You can do all things through Christ that gives you the strength. Peace out! We will talk again tomorrow, if it is the Lord's will.

Back And Better Than Ever

Hi Everyone!

Did you miss me? I know it has been awhile since I have blogged anything, I have no excuse. I just have not taken the time to set down and write. It is not for lack of not having things to write about, I am just lazy. Well, with that said, I am going to do a quick run down of what I have been up to the past 5 months. I helped my friend Ms. Fanny sale her gift baskets starting in February up until Mother's day in May. She makes some of the most beautiful baskets I have ever seen. I wish I had some pictures to show you. She makes them for Valentine Day and for Easter and Mother's Day. Next time I will make sure I take some pictures to share with you. Well, as I look back at it, helping Fanny with her baskets is mainly what I have been doing since my last blog. It takes a lot of work to do that. Making them, wrapping them, tagging them and loading and unloading them. Not to mention setting up the displays. It is not easy, but we love every minute of it. We thank God that it is over and we look forward to next year.

Now, I can throw myself back into my writing, I have so much that I need to finish. I will just take my time and follow the leading of my heavenly father. So, stay tuned, I am back and better than ever. There is no telling what I will think up next. Rest assured it will be intriguing and adventurous, just like I am.
