Wordpress themes are the most used themes in the world. This has brought thousands of great and poor themes in the theme market.

Not knowing how to find the right theme for your website can be a headache.

This post uses online research and the pheromone trick to find the top wordpress themes used by top bloggers.

If you don't have any idea or still looking for the right wordpress theme to use for your blog, then read on.
Let's assume you find yourself in the following scenario.

You have found a great domain name, SSL certificate for your https protocol and a great hosting for your Website.

You are now looking for a best rated WordPress theme.

If you find yourself in this situation and you are still contemplating on the right WordPress theme to use for your website or blog, read on.

This article tackles the following three list;

1. To show the Qualities of a flawless WordPress theme.

2. To show the characteristics of a poor WordPress theme so we can ignore them.

3. Then finally to conduct online research on finding and probing for phenomenal WordPress themes using the pheromone trick.

So how do we identify or find a great theme?

What are the qualities to judge a perfect theme for a perfect website? These questions are very essential to the survival of a website.

As a beginner or an aspired blogger, your knowledge in finding out the qualities of a theme is related to how a cobbler finds the qualities of a leather material for a shoe before crafting.

WordPress themes are designed for people with no coding skills. You don’t have to be acquainted to any programming or web development language to install WordPress theme.

With simple button clicks and uploading of files, a website theme can be installed or changed.

Most themes are easy to install, others are a little bit difficult and requires small know-how skills. Some themes come with demo contents which helps the beginner to be able to create various pages related to their field of market.

There are 1000’s of professional themes, premium themes, minimal themes and free themes out there on the market to browse and select from.

Because of these numerous themes, trying to find the best rated WordPress theme requires savvy knowledge and experience.

However, the easy part of installing or discovering abundance of WordPress themes also comes with the toil in finding great ones.

This article is based on an online search I conducted to find the finest themes installed by the top WordPress users.

We shall discuss more about how I arrived at who used the best themes and why they used these themes.

But before we dive into the deep sea and catch these themes, why don’t we first understand the qualities, factors and characteristics of an excellent theme?

Knowing how to find a great theme increases our chances in getting our online visitors to stay long on our website and utilize our page conversion rates.

Searching for the best rated themes.

When I started building websites, I was very obsessed with penetrating through every theme website and probing for the greatest WordPress theme.

I decided to use the keyword “best rated WordPress theme” on search engines to attain these themes.

Using this keyword didn’t convince me enough because I found, the top ranking websites with this keywords were only mumbling about their chosen themes with different agenda.

I ended up installing beautiful themes that I thought were going to do great wonders for my website. I was judging great themes with beauty alone and didn't consider other factors.

My dissatisfaction emerged when I became aware of how slow some themes were and how it was affecting my page rankings.

This is when it came to me that, speed is the most important factor for a theme. Google ranking places the loading speed of a website as an important ranking factor. And the fast loading of a theme should very heavily considered. I needed a theme that was light as a further, smart and also very elegant in design.

The themes i discovered in most theme websites were just marketing their showcased themes because of the theme's high incentives and high marketing budgets which were not entirely related to quality.

I needed social proof. I needed something tangible and evident enough to be able to convince other people as well as myself.

Then it hit me. The strategy is just beneath my feet. It is a concept in this authority spider book. What if I use the pheromone trick?

The pheromone trick is the idea of mimicking targeted competitors and try to find out what they use.

When you go to Rome, you do what Romans do. If I can get what the top bloggers are using, I can average these themes on a tabular form and reach which ones are most used.

That is the idea.

BUT WAIT. Before we start our theme search, we first need to identify and understand the true quality features of a WordPress theme.

We are supposed to be familiar with the structure of the WordPress theme before finding the best ones?

We must have a glimpse of the WordPress theme structure.

This is essential so we can identify certain flaws of some poor designed themes and have our way around them.

Some themes stand out in the presentational view, but might do poorly when loading.

Some themes also stand out in providing user backend tools and plugins to enhance quick publishing and easier navigation but are poor in speed when loading and includes plenty codes in the browser scripts.

When you get best of all worlds which is speed, presentation and user experience, then you are heading towards a perfect theme.

Sometimes knowing the structure of themes can help us to adjust them to reach their potentials.

We don’t necessary have to know all the details of each file in the theme folder, but knowing the plan view or hierarchy of the theme file structure and knowing the importance of some of the files might improve and develop our understanding and show us the right way to modify them.

The Structure of the WordPress theme.

Themes are the collection of files like html, css, php, JavaScript, Images, jQuery and contents that are combined to produce nice graphical interface for visitors to explore .

Qualities of a Great and Boundless WordPress theme.

I will ask your permission so we can spend some time discussing the potentials of a great WordPress theme. I believe this is very imperative and compulsory.

The process of designing automobiles involves the execution of countless ideas and intelligence like speed enhancements techniques, spectacular shape designs and quality engineering tactics of metals and compounds.

These same methods and processes from automobiles are practiced when designing WordPress themes.

The performance of a theme is now judged on speed, responsive designs and the quality of the components of the theme like the arrangements of the css files on the pages, JavaScript files, images and other objects.

· A great theme should offer image optimization techniques like using alt tags, title tags and use light weight images to render the page.

· A great theme should practice responsiveness and mobile platform methods to target gadgets, peripherals and mobile interfaces. (One of the technique is using css fluid method like using percentages instead of pixels for widths and other structure measurements).

· A great theme should make the availability of Meta tags for the pages and articles like Meta descriptions, Meta titles and schema tags. (These are some of the Google ranking factors to consider)

· A great theme should also provide the user with the ease of usage through the backend like customization of fonts, colors, moving of gadgets and other objects.

Finding the right theme for your website should be based on an immediate factor which is speed.

Some WordPress plugins also contribute to the performance of themes. We shall discuss this plugins also.

I intend to place speed as the most important factor when selecting a great theme because, when your theme loads slow, and a competitor aims the same keyword your article or website aims, you will be overtaken because of your themes slow speed.

There are some factors that might be affected by the speed of a website’s theme.

The weight or size required of a website page as recommended by search engine optimization.

Your site initial loading page must be not more than 400 kilobytes. This factor is a combination of the images, contents and your hosting server’s rate of responding to page request abruptly.

So finding a fast loading server might also play significant role. Other factors include the size of some objects on your pages like the size of images that shouldn’t be more than 100 kilobytes and also the sizes of some files like JavaScript and css that can be compressed to apply more efficiency.

As a website blogger and builder, you have to be able to prevent these small technical issues or hire someone to tackle them.

These small tricks if studied carefully can be done within some hours.

I personally speed up my own website with these techniques and I will ask anyone who is passionate about their site do the same.

The small advice here is to make sure the theme you use and the articles you publish reduces the size of images to lower than 100 kilobytes.

Normally, gif images and jpeg images are lighter than png images. Whilst png images looks nicer and pixel rich.

Your theme must also be responsive, as in dynamically changing the screens width to fit various gadgets and peripherals. Most developers use fluid techniques through css and css3.

As a website builder, you don’t necessary need to know how to create all these techniques, but you must know how to identify themes taking advantage of all these techniques.

And most importantly knowing the right plugins to install. You must also make it a habit of finding fast loading themes and modifying their files by using compression plugins like “Check and Enable GZIP compression” and “WP Super Cache”.

You will then use Google page speed checker to check the speed of your site and compress the files that are affecting your loading speed.

This is done with file compressors and JavaScript compactors.

So how do we know whether a theme uses all these techniques? Glad you asked J

Before we find out how to test themes using these techniques or try to modify the ones in that direction, I want us to first find the right themes first.

I decided to conduct research on finding the best theme to buy as a website beginner. I didn’t want to waste time on this research but also wanted to be efficient.

I decided to find the top earned bloggers according to their income stats, and most importantly, what themes they use.

At the beginning I was very anxious to find their themes because I knew more about the WordPress structure.

I knew that the WordPress folder structure has a folder arrangement containing the keyword “/wp-content/themes/”.

And that if I can get these bloggers website, use a browser and right click by selecting the source code to identify their themes, I will or might arrive at what am looking for.

And going further, I can find the theme they use which comes after the folder name containing “/wp-content/themes/themename/”.

Then I will gather the names of the themes, check their speeds and complete with my great theme selection.

I decided to find the best and authentic WordPress themes dominating and doing the good job by performing well in terms of quality, sales, ratings, dominance and speed.

The following is what happened during my research. I used the keyword “top bloggers income”.

Anil Agarwalfrom bloggerpassion.com publishes reports on top bloggers income occasionally.

I decided to pick the top ten bloggers from his list to compare what theme they use. However these top bloggers found a way to customize and conceal their themes.

I witnessed a level of sophistication and private customization making my research a little challenging.

Pursuing more led me to another discovery. Most themes are finger printed with the name of their developers in the file at the location “/wp-content/themes/themename/style.css” where the domain address "www.thewebsitename.com/" is preceded.

Some sites made these developers known by leaving out their theme names, others removed them. Fortunately, those that left the theme names were more than those that didn’t.

Those that left the developers remarks made it appeared to be a sign of respect or appreciation.

Anil Agarwal’s list onJune 2016 from bloggerpassion.com showed names like Pat Flynn from Smartpassiveinncome.com, Matthew Woodward from MatthewWoodWard.co.uk, Harsh Agarwal from Shoutmeloud.com, Jonny from JohnnyFd.com, Justin from SoOverThis.com, Michelle from MakingSenseOfCents.com Alexa from SingleMomsIncome.com and more.

Aside from Anil Agarwal’s list, I had some top bloggers in mind too. This list include QuickSprout.com by Neil Patel, Brian Dean from BackLinko.com and AOL’s techcrunch.com

Going to the sourcecode from the browser as done with either right clicking on the page and clicking on View Page Source or navigating to the sourcecode page with the URL: “view-source:http://yourwebsitenamehere.com/” with your browser opens the html codes or using the shortcut Ctrl + U on windows machines.

The source code of the browser will open as shown below.

You will then search for the keyword “/wp-content/themes/”, to arrive at the link by typing “ctrl + F” on windows machine and “CMD + F” on mac machines.

This will be found only if the site uses WordPress theme, else the site doesn’t use WordPress or is highly customized to conceal it theme.

During my search for these theme links on each html source code of these top earners blog websites, TechCrunch uses WordPress but at a very high level of customization.

In fact they were using WordPress VIP which is managed by wordpress.com. Wordpress.com’s VIP management charges a minimum of $5000 per month. (Sorry guys, TechCrunch cannot help us with our great theme journey unless we want to dump $5000 dollars per month on our theme journey.) Not Good for a beginner unless you are super rich.

Such WordPress VIP sites spends 5,000 to 40,000 dollars of cash for WordPress.com to manage their themes, site performances and hosting.

However, the good news is the top bloggers showed great results.

QuickSprout.com used WordPress theme, searching further brought me to the style page below. QuickSprout used WordPress Genesis theme by studiopress.com (BINGO)J.

And studiopress.com is owned by Brian Clark who is also the owner of CoppyBlogger.com.

Backlinko.com used WordPress Sage 9 theme. Sage 9 is an opensource and a Modern starter theme with a frontend development workflow. Created by developers from roots.io.

To use sage 9, you might need people with the right knowledge like the developers from roots.io

ShoutMeLoud.com used the WordPress theme genesis once again by studiopress.com

To prevent this article to be flooded with more images, I have decided to present all results in a tabular form.

Note: The sites that performed poorly in terms of speed might be affected by server speed, images or some heavy weight contents not necessary related to the performance of the theme they use.

Example: I found out Johnnyfd.com’s desktop site speed was affected by the heavy file sizes like png images and high size uncompressed css and JavaScript files.

I have mailed Johnny about this issue. If not, he should pay me small Johnny Ca$H and I will gladly fix it for him on his serverJ.

Abby’s site Justagirlandherblog.com’s desktop page speed was 4% and very bad. I have mailed her, showed her where she is supposed to fix and asked whether she might let me do it for small fee. (YEAH I NEED THE CASH).

The problem about Abby’s page is contributed to big sizes of images with png formats making site load slow. Compressing these images might speed up the site exponentially.

And Lastly Dave & Vicky’s AvocadoPesto.com scored 0% from the mobile page speed. This specifically contributed to a single image weighing as heavy as 8 megabyte.

I believe this image was taken from some high pixel camera and uploaded straight to the site. Hey Dave, just try to fix this issue with the email I sent you okay? OR YOU CAN CONTACT ME J

As you can see, some sites did extremely well with speed performance. Quicksprout.com scoring 85% desktop and they used Genesis theme.

MatthewWoodWork.co.uk scored 85% and used a theme by mythemeshop.com.

I actually couldn’t verify the main theme. Hope anyone can help me out here.

MakingSenseOfCents.com scored 61% mobile and 72% desktop and the theme used was Genesis theme (Olive & Ivy Design Theme).

SingleMomsIncome.com scored 58% mobile speed and 77% desktop speed and used the Genesis theme (customized by pixelmedesigns.com).

DumbPassiveIncome.com also did very well with desktop speed scoring 85% and mobile scoring 62% with the Genesis theme (eleven40 Pro Theme).

Other sites used different themes not related to Genesis and did extremely well like ByRegina.com with the Brad Hogan theme.

Numbers don’t lie and I believe we have all gone through this together.

012 - Easiest and Best way to install WordPress with softaculous

If you are looking for the fastest, smartest and easiest way to install WordPress, then using softaculous from cPanel should be your choice.

WordPress is very easy to install.

Among Joomla, Drupal and other CMS programs, WordPress is used by 26.4 percent of the top 10 million websites in the world as of April 2016. WordPress is also a free and open-source platform used by over 76.4 million websites.

I personally chose WordPress because of its ease of use and fast installation process thanks to softaculous. Softaculous is one of the plugins from cPanel that makes our website installation life easy.

This section talks more about how to install WordPress the smart and fastest way.

WordPress is a free platform, however to get the best out of WordPress, some plugins and themes have to be bought. We shall discuss more of the best themes, plugins and logo branding strategies in chapter 14.

CPanel’s fast approach to install WordPress even makes this job much easier.

There are two approaches to install WordPress, the first approach is to create a database with MySQL which is a database management system, and then download WordPress from their main website to your hosting folder before navigating to that page to install.

This approach requires more technical knowledge about database configuration and installation before starting to install WordPress.

This is not the fast and easiest approach. It is only recommended for technical know-how guys who wants to may be customize this installation processes.

The second approach is to install WordPress with Cpanel which is the fastest and best approach. We shall install WordPress with the second approach.

To do this, navigate to your hosting backend or cPanel with the default URL “www.yourwebsite.com/cPanel”.

And in this case, replace the above address with your main website URL. Log in to your cPanel account with your account name and password. After logging in to your Cpanel account, scroll down and click on the WordPress button as shown below in figure 1.

Clicking on that button will take you to the install page from softaculous.

Click on the install blue button above to open the installation page so you can enter your Website information.

First we need to select the protocol version. If you purchased the namecheap PositiveSSL as we described in chapter 12, then you should select the “https://” or “https://www”.

Just remember that, the protocol you select here is very important to for S.E.O purpose. Google may need us to specify the preferred protocol version when signing up to Google Web Master for website submission.

We shall discuss more of Google Webmaster in chapter 18 on Search Engine Optimization.

After selecting the https protocol, you should enter the rest of your website information like choosing your domain which is your main domain name that you purchased, your website name which is also the main title, description, admin username, password and the admin email as created in the previous chapter configuring domain name and hosting.

You should leave the in directory section empty to allow WordPress to be installed to the root domain of your website. If you enter any text or name in this section, WordPress will be installed to that folder.

So am assuming you didn’t enter any text there, and in this case WordPress will be installed to your root domain.

The following shows the best strategy to enter your website information to take advantage of search engine optimization, keyword research and high security.

You should note that, these installation information are very important for your website’s online progress.

Your website main title and description are the first information visitors see when they get you through search engines. You should therefore research more about your brand, market and come out with the best message for your description and title.

Make sure that whatever you write in the description is very catchy and says the most important thing about what your website is about.

Using the pheromone trick here, you can check what your competitors did, especially the top three positions on search engines have written about their descriptions.

Find out their main keywords, and try to improve yours, come out with great convincing messages, so people will click on your website.

After leaving the in Directory field empty, make sure to enter the site name with you chosen main keyword when you selected your main market as discussed in chapter 10: how to select the best market for your website.

Make sure your site name is very easy to pronounce and not more than 50 to 60 characters as required by Google. Not abiding by this rule will punish your search ranking factor.

In other sense, your site main title should not be less than 50 character length and more than 60.

Enter your site description and make sure your website main title is also included in your description.

This is very important for S.E.O purpose.

The best way to come by this is, if we should assume the title of your website is “WordPress Best Strategies”, then your description should include the keyword “WordPress Best Strategies”. Example, “Top WordPress Strategies to help boost your site speed, seo, security and revenues”

The best thing about description is its appearance on the search engine result pages as displayed in the following image.

Search engines read your descriptions as well as humans, so make sure whatever you put there is understandable and attractive.

Just make sure your description is also not more than 160 character length as recommended by Google.

After entering your site description, enter your site admin name. Make sure this account name is a single word. Then enter your password.

The security wise strategy is to use the password generator small button to generate your password.

After generating your password, enter your email, scroll down to the bottom and click on install to start installing WordPress.

Clicking on the install blue button will display the installation graphical progress. Wait to hit 100% completion and Viola, your WordPress website is complete.

To log in to the admin dashboard part of WordPress, you should append your website address with “/wp-admin” like “www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin” or click on the completed page link which will be displayed like the following figure.

If you see the above image, then congratulations, your website installation is completed.

011 - How to configure cPanel account, Mail Client and SSL Protocol

Knowing how to setup cPanel configurations for your website is one of the key leverages of a website builder. Understanding and familiarizing with cPanel makes anyone smart and fast during website implementations.

CPanel ecosystem spreads hundreds of web developers, thousands of hosting companies, and millions of domains all over the world. CPanel is not just a tool, it’s a software that empowers an industry.

This chapter discusses the best and smart steps to take as a beginner with cPanel like website email configuration and setting up SSL certificates.

Before we start configuring our cPanel, let us find the importance of using cPanel as a control panel.

CPanel is a Linux based control panel which uses graphical interface to manage and control website hosting functions and automate the processes of hosting managements. Its main function is to speed up administrative components of website structure.

Instead of using console which is very tedious and takes much effort to learn and use, cPanel maximizes productivity with it inbuilt programs.

cPanel has inbuilt programs like fantastico, softaculous which also speeds up the processes of installing bundles of scripts by automating their installations and updates of web applications such as WordPress, SMF, phpBB, Drupal, Joomla!, Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware, Geeklog, Moodle and others.

There so many inbuilt cPanel plugins by other third party web management free vendors. In this section, we shall only tackle the most important ones to use to launch our website.

When you purchase the domain and hosting from namecheap or any other Linux hosting account, your hosting account will be setup and the information about your Package information like hosting plan, main domain, the starting date of your domain and IP address are all sent to the email you signed up with.

You are also sent with the cPanel access information like your cPanel URL “http://yourwebsiteaddress/cpanel” and your default cPanel username and password.

You should log in to the account using your sent account information. The following exhibit figure 1 shows the interface of a logged in cPanel account.

There are so many functions and buttons on the cPanel interface. Right now the most important thing to note is how to install SSL Certificate with namecheap’s cPanel, how to install WordPress which we will deal with on the next chapter and also how to create new email account for our hosting services so we can use that official email to install WordPress

Creating email accounts using cPanel’s mail installation functions.

Most hosting platforms provide the privilege of creating limited number of email accounts for websites. When you have an email like “info@yourwebsite.com”, your visitors recognize your brand and corporate entities regard your company or website as authentic.

Domain emails also helps your website to create an email identity to customers, suppliers and etc. CPanel also has inbuilt mail clients to process, send, read and manage emails.

To create your company email follow the steps below.

1. Head on to the Mail part of the cPanel interface as shown in the following figure. Click on the Email Accounts link.

Clicking on the Email Accounts link will take you to the email configuration panel. On the email configuration panel, enter your email details, the preferred email name like “info@yourwebsite.com”.

Just remember to omit the “@yourwebsite.com” from where you should enter the name as shown on figure 3 below. Cpanel already appends that information to your new email.

Make sure you use the Password Generator button to generate strong password for your official website mail.

This advice is recommended. You can also decide to select the Mailbox Quota size to either unlimited or the specified megabyte size as you want. I normally click on the unlimited radio button because I expect more mails.

After creating the email, you can check your inbox with your cPanel mail client. This is done by either navigating to your website address by typing “http://yourwebsite.com:2096”.

The colon “:” after the website extension “.com” is appended with the 2096 number which is the default port number for the mail client of cPanel.

Normally I create a redirect URL of the above port address to a readable one like http://mywebsite.com/mail. I normally prefer to use WordPress plugin to create the redirect URL. We shall come to that on the chapter Installing WordPress best rated themes, plugins, logo and branding.

To open your email for the first time, navigate to the address provided above with the port number as displayed again here “http://yourwebsite.com:2096”. Replace your domain name to the “yourwebsite.com” part.

Then enter your email and password to sign in. The default mail client interface provides you with three email clients to choose or select. You can select to open with horde, roundcube or squirrelMail.

Installing Namecheap’s SSL Certificate

We will first start by understanding the domain name and hosting structure. Without domain names, it will be difficult to remember IP addresses which are the main addresses of a websites.

Domain names are just easier indexed names acquired from ISP’s (Internet Services Providers) that are pointed to the IP addresses of hosting servers.

Simply, a domain name is a letter or alphanumeric name acquired from ISP’s to be configured and pointed to hosting server.

Instead of remembering a website’s IP address like 192.168.001.001, we turn to use domain names in place of these IP addresses. So when you type the domain name in an address, the ISP’s searches for the IP address that the domain name points to.

A domain name should be very simple to pronounce. Domains are considered your websites brand and are recognize by search engines and humans.

Because of this branding purposes, the domain name should not be more than three words to enable easier pronunciation. The best should even be two words or when crazily lucky one word.

Nowadays, it will be very difficult to purchase domain name with a single or short word. These single words have already been purchased by most domain brokers. When choosing domain name, we must consider two approaches.

The most important thing about the branding approach is not the name itself but the concept and its USP (Unique Selling Position) about the website.

When you want to use the branding approach, make sure to either use your initials, which will also sell your name to the outer world and also brand you to your product or services.

You can also decide to use any term that will be very easy for people to voice out. Example is Amazon, Facebook, Google, Twitter, and YouTube. What these sites have in common is the simplicity when pronouncing their names.

Another great technique is to try and use vowels which are very stress free to mention. A quick example is, let say you want to write about domain names. And you want to monetize the site with Affiliation packages from domain service providers.

To arrive at a great and simple name, you can use the Brian Dean trick. Thus, adding an “O” or any pronounceable vowel to the word domain to become domaino.com, or domaina.com or domainati.com.

Ranking with an article that is related to the domain name of the website is easier than ranking for the branding domain.

The disadvantage is your products or services may only be limited to the exact match keywords.

When you choose to write more about other products which are not related to your exact match domain, you might have to use more effort for Google to recognize your articles.

For example, if we were to buy domain name with the previous chapter keyword concept; “best teaching practices”.

We may have to buy name like www.bestteachingpractices.com or www.practicebestteaching.com or other examples from the main keyword. A creative idea to arrive to similar name structure or keyword is to use synonyms as alternative words when the name you are looking for is already bought by someone.

Like when you are buying bestteachingpractices.com and the name is already purchased, you may consider other synonyms from the word best like “top”, or “finest”. So you may arrive at topteachingpractices.com, greatteachingpractices.com or idealteachingpractices.com

Just remember to use synonyms when brainstorming new names to replace already bought names.

The difference between the above two approaches is that, the branding approach will require special alternate marketing style that may not be guided by search engine optimization (S.E.O) or relied on search engines as in getting traffic from email subscribers or pay per click services when beginning.

All you have to do is use any name you wish to use and just stay focused to your market until visitors and search engines recognize your brand from your most viewable articles.

The purpose of the branding approach is to focus on quality contents and rich information that promotes average time spent on your articles from yours visitors or online customers.

The next paragraphs will show the settings on namecheap. You can mimic these settings to Hostgator or Godaddy. They are very related and similar.

Hostgator is also very great with affordable prices. Godaddy manages more than 50 million domain names and are regarded one of the top domain and hosting providers in the world.

The choice is yours. I normally use Godaddy when I want to create an asp based website.

Best way to set up your domain name

Before we proceed, I hope you have brainstormed and chosen your preferred domain name. If you have not. Please take this time to think about a great name for your authority website.

I will advise you to use the branding approach because of the authority spider model.

The easiest approach is to use your name and target your product or services on what you can do best. If you want to use the exact domain name approach, you should try to find at least three letter word domain or two if lucky.

Google now support SSL and requires most website owners to secure their data with this protocol.

Google has even gone an extra mile by releasing ranking updates which improves the ranking of websites with the https protocol. It is recommended to purchase an SSL certificate for your website so your website earns this security point.

Namecheap has joined with COMODO SSL Certificate to come out with a great promotion called PositiveSSL. This promotion only charges you currently as I write this line, $1.98 the first year.

It’s issued and setup in minutes and has 128/256 bit encryption level, 99.3% browser compatibility, FREE static Site Seal, $10,000 warranty as described on their purchasing page.

So you should purchase this certificate or any higher one. When you purchase the certificate, your personal information is attached to the data which will be imported to your hosting platform to create your public and private encryption keys.

All these process is automated by namecheap whilst most hosting panels requires you the website builder to do.

These settings are sometimes very tedious for a beginner. I personally use this promo because of its speed and quick installation.

I am assuming you are using this package. However if you wish to use other hosting platform SSL certificate, the settings are available to read on their websites. Just make sure your SSL is always purchased on the same hosting account of your choice.

Steps to Buy the PositiveSSL Certificate from Namecheap

When you enter your domain name on the purchasing page of namecheap, make sure you scroll down and add the PositiveSSL promo package to your cart. This is shown below.

Now you have added your domain name and your positive SSL. Make sure you also add your hosting service. The best approach and cost effective way is to at least purchase 3 to 5 years of domain time.

This is also part of the 200 Google ranking factors as discussed when learning Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We shall discuss more about S.E.O in chapter 18.

When you finish entering all your personal information and added all the necessary products aside your domain name, you should purchase your domain to your account.

Just make sure you provide legitimate information of yourself or company like your address and phone number because this information will be used in the future to store Meta data information about your domain name and website.

Google may even use this information to recognize your site. Just enter the name and purchase it. After purchasing, there is a small configuration you need to do.

Your domain name and purchased information will be sent to your mail after paying. We shall come back to that later. For now, let us continue to the hosting part.

Hosting Services

Most of the time, the hosting service is purchased with the domain name. People like to use this strategy because of promotional benefits and easier configuration.

This easily helps the domain to be pointed to the hosting server. It is always advisable to use this approach when building websites as a beginner.

The drawback to this approach is based on the fact that, when there is a problem with the service provider, both your domain name and hosting platform will be malfunctioning.

The advantage to buying the domain on a different server and buying the hosting on a another server is opposite to the advantage of the first one, which is when one service goes down, you have the option of finding an alternative server to the hosting.

And one disadvantage is that, most beginners find it a little bit difficult to map the domain to another hosting server. And they turn to contact web administrators to do the job for them for a fee.

I will personally recommend any beginner to buy both the domain, hosting and SSL certificate on the same hosting provider.

The following shows how to easily configure the domain name to your hosting server on the namecheap.com platform.

How to map your domain name to the same hosting server with Namecheap.

I am assuming you have already bought your domain name. And you are about to buy your hosting server.

With Namecheap, you should hop on to the hosting menu on the site, click either the shared domain menu for starters which is also cost effective for now.

This will take you to the hosting packages. You should select your preferred hosting package according to your budget, pocket or expectation.

I normally go with the professional package for a start. Because it gives unlimited bandwidth, 50 gigabyte of storage, and at the time of writing this book, it cost about $19.88 the first year. Which is very cost effective and what I will recommended.

So when you select any of these hosting packages, add to Cart and you will be taken to another page where you will be asked whether you want to add a domain name to this hosting service.

You should do so if you are a beginner and you have also already brainstormed and arrive at a great domain name which is also related to your market and your talent. You must also make sure this market will make you profit as discussed in the chapter selecting the best market.

So enter your preferred domain name in the box, you should see the message, this name is available when you are lucky.

Add the name to your cart and continue to the other products, the SSL Certificate, the domain name and the hosting. They will send you information about your passwords, and other configuration information.

Note, you can also try other hosting and domain services like Godaddy.com, Hostgator.com, dreamhost.com, Rackspace.com and a whole lot of them if you type hosting services in a search engine.

NOTE: I used namecheap as an example because, namecheap is what I have been using and works great for me. You can select any hosting provider of your choice if you are conversant with it. The next step is to point the domain to your hosting service.

How to point domain name to a hosting service.

When you buy both your hosting and domain name from namecheap, setting up the configuration is very straight forward and very easy to do. However, you might choose to buy the domain name with SSL certificate first and come back to buy hosting service later.

The average time to set this up is 5 minutes. The following process shows how;

1. Sign in to your hosting account website by using the password you used when signing up.

2. After you are logged in, hover your mouse on the top menu “Hosting” and click on the shared hosting sub menu as displayed below.

This will take you to the next page which displays options for selecting your domain. If you purchased the domain already, you should click on the “Use a domain I own with Namecheap” as shown below .

Or click on the Purchase a new domain, enter your preferred name, add to cart and move on the next page.

3. Click on Domain List which will list all your domains on the service.

If you bought the domain with a hosting package, the hosting icon will be displayed. Your purchased domain will be showed.

At the bottom or right side of the listed domain, depending on the size of your computer screen, click on the button manage which should take you to the domain control panel page for configuration. Scroll down to the Nameserver section.

If you bought the domain name and hosting on Namecheap or your service provider, then this settings should be very easy to configure.

Click and select the Namecheap web option which will display a dropdown list of all available Nameserver options. Select the Namecheap Web Hosting DNS if you bought the domain name and hosting at Namecheap.

Save your configuration by clicking on the small correct icon at the right side of the Nameserver configuration section to save your domain information.

The above configuration is the easiest part of setting up a domain and hosting service for your website if you purchased your domain and hosting at the same place.

Namecheap will auto configure your system for you without any hassle.

This is recommended if you want to finish launching your website within a day.

The above configuration is performed to map the purchased domain name to namecheap’s hosting service. This is why the Namecheap Web Hosting DNS is selected on the NAMESERVERS part.

This configuration normally takes 24 hours. Personally whenever I make this configuration and goes back on the web browser to check my website. I see the domain configured.

009 - How to select the best market and keywords for your authority website

Choosing a great market for your website is one of the important process to gain real profits and make real money with your website.

The wrong market for your website will result in waste of time and resource.

This is why time, experience, knowledge, patience and extensive research is required to select the right market to create your website.

In the post, “Creativity (Building authority websites)”, we discussed the creative process cycle with talent awareness as the first step when selecting our market.

However, there is confusion with two approaches to the difficulty of selecting whether to use talent as a motivator to market selection or venture capital interest with ROI (return of interest) as a motivator to market selection.

To elaborate further, a person with a great talent on a particular subject or services may choose to launch authority website with this talent.

In the next example, I am going to use a different niche and market. This example is based on education market. I decided on that, so we can share another experience from other marketing perspectives and methods.

In other to find the right market for a specific talent in this market, we need to narrow it down to a smaller market under the education umbrella to make our website content writing easier. The following example shows how to do this.

First we need to know all the required tools to conduct our online market research. The following tools or online software may be a start as most web marketing engineers use.

The first result in the above search will take us to the page on amazon which is doing well. So we can study this page, find out why that page is doing well, read the reviews on that page and brainstorm to check whether our market has a strong value.

So when I clicked on the first page, I was taken to the below amazon page which can also be found on amazon here.

So we can study this book and find out why this book is doing wonders on amazon. And why people are buying it.

This technique is actually the pheromone trick if we study it carefully. What I found out was the integrity of Donna Walker Tilesto; the writer to this book.

We can then checkout what methods she used to write this book, why people are buying it, what sought of important values were in the book and try to see whether the market behind this book will be suitable for us to create our website.

So based on reading most of the reviews, my conclusion was that, even though this book was written in only 88 pages, because the writer made 10 solid scientific research on the best teaching practices, the book has become an authority eBook.

We should keep in mind that, all what we are seeking is a common ground to convince ourselves whether the chosen market will be great to start our website and also an attractable way to find more contents to write.

The first thing to do is to sign up and log in to your account on Google AdWords. The address is adwords.google.com. Then click on the menu “Tools” to show the drop down list as shown. And then click on keyword planner.

This will take you to the keyword planner page. You should then click on the Search for new keywords using a phrase, website or category link as shown.

This will open the Find new keywords page as shown. You should then enter the keywords in the text box with the title “Enter one or more of the following” as shown below.

You should then enter the main keyword inside the keyword column and click on the Get ideas button. You should leave the other text box empty for now.

Later in the keyword research tutorial in chapter 16, we shall dive deep into this with pencil art market. So after clicking on the Get ideas button, we are taking to the generated page that list all the related keywords connecting to our main keyword “best teaching practices”.

As we examine in the image shown, our main keyword has lead us to other great related keywords. The early childhood education keyword has a high competition and an average monthly search of 40,500.

This shows that, when we want to tackle this market with our main keyword. We should consider targeting the early childhood education market. Now we can decide whether to work with this market or not.

So after the above example, we can then compile our results into a table for further decisions. We should bear in mind that, all we ever want to do in this chapter is select the best market for our website.

So the table we have projected should give us a clear conviction whether to tap into our market or not.

Most of the time, the best way is to check for the keyword competiveness. Normally I go for the high competitive keywords. While most writers go for the low competitive ones.

The reason why I suggest anyone using the authority spider approach should go for the high competitive keywords is based on the intuition that, if we are using the pheromone trick plus charismatic authority as described in the previous chapters, then going for low competitive keywords wouldn’t be challenging since high keywords suggest importance and excellence of the market. Money always rules.

Since Early Childhood Education receives about 40,000 search per month, he can target this market and try to combine the two to start a great article “ Best teaching practices for early childhood education” This keyword will narrow the market down so Augustus can aim at teachers dealing with children or early childhood.

Now he can target smaller keywords belonging to this market by going again to Google Search Suggestion Box and getting more keywords relating to the above.

These are the keywords Augustus converting to articles. And then he can later convert these pages to revenues through monetization like AdSense, Amazon Affiliate Program or using your own products.

In my other post, “introduction, the spider technique”, we deliberated on the spider technique, we discussed the purpose of the spider technique and showed how the spider uses the pheromone trick to build the authority spider model.

And how we can use Focus and Motivation to build a strong and will-powered personality. We also looked at the psychology of building authority websites in chapter 7.

All that we learnt in the previous chapters was to prepare us and motivate us to build our authority website.

Now that we know the whole concept when building authority websites, the psychology behind it, the creative processes backed with motivation, we shall use all those energies we have acquired to build our website.

This chapter is an overview to the guide in building our website. We shall examine the required study guidelines.

We shall also look at how to select the best and suitable market with our talent. Then we shall take a look at how to brainstorm good and catchy domain names, whether expired domain names are still relevant, and also look at how to purchase the name and configure it.

If you are new to expired domains, don’t worry, I will hit it again.

Then we will also discuss some of the top domain name and hosting website companies. We will also go through all the guides and processes in content marketing and copywriting techniques.

Before we start building our website, there are some prerequisites and information to be aware of.

We must know how much money we want to put into the website we want to build. I have divided the budgeting side into basic, normal and business.

These three approaches are steps I have devised based on my years of experience in building websites. They are choices anyone can choose to build their website and online business.

With the basic approach, I calculated a budget of at least $100 for purchasing the domain name, hosting, logo design and some chosen wordpress themes. However it is not entirely required to spend $100 to use the basic website approach.

For example, a person may choose to just purchase the inevitable domain name and hosting and start building. Currently, as I write this book, the domain name and hosting may cost not more than $50 and even in some hosting companies less.

I also suppose anyone with a strong heart and low budget than the above can build any authority website and succeed extremely well. However, hiring someone to design the logo and buying some recognized and commercial WordPress themes may add more professional flair, respect and integrity to a website.

It will also speed up time with search engine indexing and page position climbing since working diligently behind the pages or in the code may take some time to eradicate some of the free wordpress theme errors often made.

This is because most commercial wordpress themes enhances and improves search engine optimization techniques to their pages automatically. We will discuss more about this in chapter 14 “Installing best rated themes, plugins, logo and branding”.

However it is very advisable to always start with the basic approach or the normal approach before venturing the business approach to help reduce risking money or running at a loss.

Another analogy to explaining why some people choose the business approach is; let say a person may decide to build a mansion from scratch thus purchasing the land, working on tedious of legal and technical requirements, hiring contractors and masons.

Another person may also just decide to buy a mansion and forget about all the hardships in building.

This post describes a certain technique the biological spider uses to catch its prey. And this same technique can be mimicked to online marketing.

This technique works like magic if used extensively. I do my best to describe how to use this technique when creating websites and writing articles.

In the introduction post, we discussed about the spider tensile. According to Wikipedia, the spider tensile is described as the weapon of the spider which is strong as steel but light as feather.

It is described as having a natural elastic compound that can paralyze the spider’s victim with a single strike when in its territory.

I was thrilled when I learnt how the spider seduces victims with a cunning trick I ostensibly named; the pheromone trick.

We shall use the pheromone trick by adapting to it tactics and learn from this spider.

This will fascinate and charm our online visitors to our territory too. Territory here can be our website, or attracting them to the sales page of our product or services page. Every single authority figure has a pheromone trick.

It is the trick that mimics their victims, clients or followers to always be attracted to them like the pull of a magnet.

So what is this pheromone trick? The spider uses this technique to trick, influence and seduce other species to fall into its territory.

According to scientist, the spider species releases a pheromone into the atmosphere which is similar to the other victims mating culture.

This pheromone is identical to the other specie’s or insect female pheromone. This identical pheromone attracts the other male insect in the atmosphere once diffused.

Like a trap, the other species will be pulled closer to the territory of that spider.

And mistakenly as most men can watch a sexy dressed female person walk on the roadside while they erroneously drive to the wrong side of a road, the pheromone of the spider is used as bait and misguidedly followed to its territory by other male insects.

These other male insects postulate the pheromone to be that of their own species. And nicely done, a homemade dinner is brought to the spider.

The spider will strike the male victim with its biological silk weapon through detections of vibrations of its woven webs caused by the incoming victim.

It will paralyze the victim with a single swing of speed and power like the speed of a fired gun thrown from it biological silk. Then it will role the prey with the silk like an Egyptian mummy making it difficult to escape. There is a serious lesson from this story.

The spider saw it could produce the same scent of pheromone that could conjure it victims to think they were meeting their own species. The question here is;

How was the spider able to mimic the same pheromone from the other species so flawlessly and undetectable?

With charismatic authority in mind, all we need to do is study our targeted customers and use the pheromone trick to reach our authority spider goal.

We can mimic this same pheromone technique in the area of building authority websites. We can prepare this pheromone idea by asking the following questions:

· What problem do we recognize in our market, visitors, subscribers or listeners that can be explored, learnt and intelligently provide with solutions and answers? (NOTE: The spider saw this problem by exploring the other male insects or victims and concluded that the other insect couldn’t identify the difference between their pheromone and that of the spider. And only in this case he saw an opportunity to find its prey.)

· How can we identify a problem and solution in our chosen market in a way that will intelligently mimic our online visitor’s situation?

· What can we study about our market which relates to people’s lives that will automatically attracts them to trust us as experts?

Spider webs accordingto the calendar of scientist has existed for more than 100 million years. (As calculated with the carbon 14 dating method). Insects get trapped in spider webs which provide nutrition to the spider.

We are not studying the anatomy and features of the spider but rather, the behavioral aspects and stealing the concepts from it intelligent survival tactics.

Techniques like their trapping skills, their method of spotting prey by the change of vibration on one of their spinning webs and more.

Their method of creating webs which allows the spider to catch prey without having to expend energy is a core concept.

We shall talk more about how to find the right stuff for our target market or the best bait and trap for our prey. (And prey here is related to customers or visitors to our site).

Researchers have used genetically modified mammals to produce the proteins needed to make this material.

If spiders can develop such a great biological ammunition to target their victims: so can we do to our online ideas.

If we want to grip users under our website and subscription for the rest of our online publishing and business life, then the pheromone trick should be taken to the heart and practices dearly through all pages and every article. This idea is a metaphor.

The metaphor about the tensile strength of the spider’s silk is picturing great ideas or stories which pull users to our site.

In 2009, Dan Brown’s book “The Davinci Code” sold more than 200 million copies.

Reading the book myself and studying his style of writing made me aware of how and why most great writers use the spider technique without knowing they are using it.

Even though Dan Brown’s next book after the Davinci code couldn’t sell as much as it’s previous, it was estimated that, most people rushed to buy his next book because the first book did all the work.

It pulled it victims like the way the spider entangled it victims with it tensile silk.

This is the concept and what I have observed and invite you to explore with your chosen market. When you have selected your chosen market, you must develop the spider technique using the pheromone trick to pull your visitors to you.

Dan Kennedy, who wrote magnetic marketing exposes this idea in another approach but indirectly using the pheromone trick.

Dan said and I quote: “The way of professionalism is taking something that is extremely difficult and making it very simple.”

If you can study your chosen market, find problems, especially the extremely difficult ones, and make it very simple by creating serious solutions, you have established a pheromone trick that has placed you or your business as an expert in that field.

It is a concept about how to create simplistic solutions from difficult problems for a specific market.

You use your solutions as a pheromone to mimic the ammunition of the spider when attacking it victims.

The ammunition of the spider is called the tensile. However, the magical aspect of this ammunition is the strength as called the tensile strength.

Therefore, the tensile strength of your silk (a convincing idea) or the elasticity of your silk will determine how long a user or reader may keep on reading the contents of your website, article or even refer another person to buy from your products or affiliate links.

Steve jobs was seriously obsessed with this pheromone approach. He identified that, most American consumers were very obsessed with design, simplicity and quality. He dragged his workers to the wall in extreme times only to arrive at these three concepts. And today Apple still uses this perfectionism culture.

We shall apply this concept further, when writing the authority contents after launching our website and finding our right market.

Your tensile strength which will be a mind technique is to the purpose of making your writing skills more conjuring with the idea of giving your users or readers quality contents, feeding them with what they want.

The lesson here is to first have a great aim and goal, and then you must be consistent and have a very strong integrity that surpasses any short term possibility or temptation.

Augustus found out Niel Partel used the same online incentive technique in quicksprout.com like Brain Clark to harvest emails or subscribers. Niel created a touching banner which asked questions leading the visitor to enter their website’s URL.

And then once they click on YES, they are taken to a third page which finally asked for their name and mail. Awesome. J

The visitor will complete the pheromone trick by entering the first name, email, monthly marketing budget and lastly, RESERVE YOUR CONFIDENTIAL CONSULTATION WITH NEIL.

They are then taken to either Aweber Mailing list or any other list for the mailing process.

Augustus saw that most of the top 10 listed bloggers published on the forbes.com site practiced this same technique and hardly used any online advertising service but a mailing list so they could sell their own self-made products or services.

Creativity is a very general and a diverse subject. In the artistic part of creativity, life can be very interesting.

In this chapter, we shall discuss creativity, the process behind it, why it is very important, and apply it to the website building business.

This chapter discusses the philosophy and psychology behind creativity and uses the idea to arrive at a mastering point where creativity is elevated to charismatic authority as discussed in the previous chapters.

When we are able to build websites with such perception, instinct and awareness, we will be able to build what is called viral websites.

Creativity is a dynamic subject and involves not just rules but original ideas that should be discovered.

However, the principal step in the journey of creativity is how to find our true talent. To be able to reach a higher level of creativity, we must dream, adapt and project imagination to a new realm of understanding.

This imagination should be between the object we are creating and the procedures we are using to create that object.

The connection between ourselves and the object must be one. Metaphorically, we must be that thing we are creating. Be it a website, a product or a service.

With the language of creativity, the object we seek to create must speak our language.

This objects must mirror our image.

Some of the general examples of creative products are enhancing technology to discover new ideas and objects. We shall look at the importance of using creativity to connect people directly or indirectly through our websites.

And then focus on using our natural talents and using creative processes to upgrade, modify and master our websites.

Generally, the basic definition of creativity is based on the phenomenon where something new and valuable is formed.

And this item which is formed can be grouped into tangible or intangible.

To be able to manufacture our creative process well through the building of websites, we must understand how to visualize every single object we create and innovate.

We must identify whether the item we create online is either tangible or intangible.

Then we will use creativity to originally bring up an idea that will make our website unique to other competitors.

Tangible items directed to website building during creativity can be a new product invention, or a review of products online.

As we discussed in the pheromone trick chapter. By using creativity, we can produce a unique product or services which will be directed to solve problems in our markets.

The cycle continues to problem research again with iterations of cycle upon cycle until perfection is achieved.

1. Talent Awareness

Talent awareness is the first step to the above proposed diagram. To understand this talent word deeply, I have added it constituting synonyms: (flair, aptitude, gift, knack, technique, touch, bent, ability, expertise, capacity, power, faculty, strength, forte, genius, brilliance, dexterity, adroitness, skill, cleverness, virtuosity and artistry.

If you find any of the above synonyms in common with a particular hobby, then you are talented. Nevertheless, there is still much to be done after discovering our talent.

The most important part is knowing what we are most talented with.

And to be at top performance in that area. To be able to reach this goal the best approach is to reach a higher level of self-awareness.

Self-awareness is knowing what we are good at and what we are not good at. It is also knowing our main purpose being alive.

This is very crucial in the authority spider technique because knowing our purpose and staying focus to it will make us perfect through the creative process cycle.

We should be able to know how best we use complex problem-solving skills, creativity, empathy, big-picture thinking, competitiveness, and attention to detail, organizational thinking, persistence and a host of other cognitive abilities towards our talent.

We should be significantly authentic and try to develop our interested skills until we are experts.

Authenticity means filling a role that is true to who we are, not spending all of our time trying to develop new natural talents.

The reason this is so important is because according to everything we know about how the human mind works, we can’t develop new thinking talents once the first familiar ones are embedded and becomes our hobby.

This is why knowing who we are, what we are good at and building upon it is very essential.

With regards to building websites, finding our talent through the building of website is when we identify the best and suitable market that we are familiar with and building product review sites, product affiliate sites or blogging about our talent.

If we choose to build websites about specific subjects in society like, entertainments, games, movies, or interested subjects that are not related to tangible products, we should make sure the subject chosen are related to what we love and that we have a deeper interest.

This will build strong relationship with our readers and they will regard us as experts.

One may then ask, what if I don’t know my talent. Well I normally tend to use social approach to find out what peoples talent are.

We can do this by asking our friends what they really like about us. We can ask family members, parents, siblings and love loves.

The reflection of ourselves are always portrayed by what people say about us. However, we should also compare what people say about us to justify our thoughts whether they are true or not.

Then we can make a decision about our great talents. And when these comments from our friends and loved ones turn out to be negative, we must check our life diligently whether they are true.

2. Problem Research

Once we identify our unique talent, we then direct that talent into building our website. However, talent alone is not the entire package.

In other to outshine our talent productively, we must use problem research skills to expose tangible or intangible problems.

Problem research is one of the key steps toward finding interested niches or markets.

With our talent in mind, we follow our talent by first searching online for products or information that are related to our talent.

With this idea in his mind, he got a great market and niche. But he needed to use online problem research skills.

He used the following strategies to find these problems.

· “intext: reply website comment pencil art problems”

NOTE: The colon after the inlink or intext keyword is a technique that is only understood by the Google search engine as a separator between the main keywords after the colon and the operator keywords before the colon. This technique are normally used by most S.EO and online marketing savvies to find specific keywords. In chapter 17, we shall examine all the online keyword techniques.

What Augustus did was to use the above keyword techniques to target pages or forums in websites that were related to pencil art.

With the keyword “inlink:” he wanted to find the articles or posts in forums that had been linked through other websites with a link of the keyword after the colon.

The keyword “intitle:” finds websites forums with the title “pencil art problems”.

“intext:” was used to find website pages with the text “problems in pencil art”.

So based on the above keyword techniques Augustus used, he was able to find forums and pages and even online comments about the current problems facing the pencil art industry.

The following shows some of the search engine results pages from the above keywords.

With the “inlink: forum pencil art how to”, he found out pencils.com published a post about the top drawing websites every artist should follow.

He was able to find those websites, what they were doing, their targeted markets, the strength of the competition and other technical stuffs like how those sites where monetizing and decided to jot down some important ideas and problems or mistakes those pages were making.

So with all the above search keywords, Augustus was able to identify the current problems in the pencil art market.

Therefore anyone can use the same above keyword techniques against their market and talent and come out with a research problem.

Once the research problem is identified, then competence preparation step will be ignited.

3. Competence Preparation

In creativity, the third level: competence preparation, is very essential.

It is the level that makes us use the problem at hand to build strong and competent resources to reach a level of proficiency.

Sometimes, when we find the current problems concerning a research, most of the time, a renowned solution may be implemented already by another competitor.

So the question to ask is: is the current solution in the market sufficient or adequate? Another analogical question is: Even though gold passes through fire and stood the test of time, why is diamond valued more?

Is it because diamond is unique in its form and original? Is it because diamond is much more expensive and is scarcer than gold?

What if we create a solution that is unique and original and much more regarded as valuable than other solutions from our competitors?

Are some creative ideas more valuable than others? If so, how can we achieve such value? Why do some creative ideas stand the test of time than others?

Competence preparation aims at training anyone to rise to the occasion with a solution to a research problem.

It also challenges the mind to device a great strategy to be in the league of excellent leaders in the market.

It is the level where we sit back, gather our thoughts, and take a bird’s eye view of the whole said problem.

Then we device other variables in the equation, try and test with our skills to create room for improvement.

It is when we weigh ourselves with our talent to see whether we are eligible and qualified to tackle the situation at hand.

And at the end of the preparation, we decide whether to learn and train ourselves to reach that maximum capacity in that market.

But at times, the time needed to reach that maximum capacity may be limited especially when there is serious competition and a dead line.

Competence preparation is finding out whether we have the capacity, the knowledge and the skills to tackle the research problem.

Whether he will use speed and intuition to tackle the said problem or he will use another training and preparation to reach the skills needed for the market competition.

Because Augustus recognizes art to be his natural talent, he has decided to tap into the market of the artist. As in painting, pencil art and other forms of art.

However, to his dismay, he found out he had been left behind from new and excellent artist dominating the internet with great articles, pictures and even live videos of them painting or shading which had attracted thousands of visitors on YouTube and even millions at times.

Augustus became aware that if he was going to compete with such market, he had to do something unexpected and astonishing. He had to develop a pheromone trick to this market. He had to sharpen his art skills if he was going to produce his own works. And he even had to decide the type of product or service he was going to choose as monetization for his website.

So the following were the competence preparation steps Augustus used which anyone can adapt.

3. Study the current level of skills in the competition and how fast those skills can be learnt.

So throughout his research online as showed previously, Augustus found some top and current great pencil artist online.

He found out how much each sold their piece, their style and nature of their market. The following exhibit some of his findings:

The post listed names like Paul Cadden’s pencil work called shower, the 19 year old female artist from Netherland called Rajacenna who shaded the “You are not alone piece”, Dirk Dzimirsky’s piece called Frozen and more which can be found on the creativebloq website.

Augustus was much more trilled and also competitively frightened when he saw the realist and rational type of art works being portrayed since his art talent abandonment.

He saw these artists demonstrate flair, mastery and propensity of talent that was beyond genius.

He knew such great masterpieces could be executed but was trilled and even shaken to find such display of talent to it maximum capacity. Even though he knew he was good with pencil art, these artist were flawless and spectacular, they executed a sense of mastery that was beyond the understanding of the non-artist.

Paul Cadden’s shower displayed excellent wizardry in patience, observance and detailed emergence of natural realism with pencil and charcoal.

And then the 19 year old Rajacenna as well as Dirk’s Frozen.

Augustus knew if he was also going to bring out his talent to face these competitors, then he had to come out with an extraordinary approach.

A radical but competitive alternative edge and strategy.

We find solutions on how to actualize and materialize the ideas we discover in competent preparation.

Solution research is also finding possible and potential obstacles which may appear as we build our solution.

It is a research which aims at preparing the stage and platform so our solution will come to live.

This preparation is very necessary because it creates an effective and potent step by step processes to our solution.

We shall continue our story about how Augustus was able to use solution research to find possible or potential obstacles to reach his competent level, product functioning level or services functioning level.

The following are the steps to take in other to conduct our solution research:

1. List down your competent preparation ideas you have already created.

2. List down the potential obstacles and problems which may hinder the competent preparation ideas you listed at number 1.

3. List down how you are going to solve these obstacles and set a timeframe to complete.

So let us continue our story. As we know, Augustus listed down the ideas in the competent preparation level.

· With blogging about the top pencil artists in the world, he found out most articles and posts where dominating the pencil art niche. They displayed top artists and showcased their works. He found out these were websites with great Domain Authority and Page Authority. They were also huge sites with massive daily visitors.

So what is the meaning of an Authority Website? Authority Website simply is a website that serves a particular market in a society, dominating the market with quality and creative solutions which attracts visitors to subscribe to its mailing list.

It register’s a sense of need offered by the website. This need eventually becomes the website’s brand and creates a sense of acceptance in society.

People love to go to such websites for solutions that are regarded important, current, rated high, socially proven, accepted, practiced and standardized.

Authority: The word Authority originates from the Latin word “auctoritas”. According to the Latin meaning as used in Rome, auctoritas referred to the general level of reputation, influence or prestige a person had in society.

This prestige consequently brought influence and the ability to rally support around a person’s will. People who knew the techniques and the art of “auctoritas” had power over society and used this power effectively to change people’s lives.

So we are narrowing our knowledge of authority from the general view to the specific website authoritative view.

In this view, web authority is the domination of product or services to visitors through techniques like content marketing and copywriting skills.

To understand and gain the full knowledge and how to pursue and build authority websites, we should also understand the accompanying synonyms and the different levels of authority.

Any aspired authority person must build their mindsets with the following synonyms. (Power, jurisdiction, command, control, mastery, charge, dominance, dominion, rule, sovereignty, ascendancy, supremacy, domination, influence, sway, the upper hand, leverage, hold, grip)

Authority by Power: Authority gives anyone the power or the capacity and ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the cause of events. (In other words, anyone who has authority must be able to influence the behavior of others through his good deeds or information on a website).

Authority by Jurisdiction: This is the extent of power to make legal decisions or judgments.

You should acquire legal knowledge and be expert with regards to all the legal entities in your field.

Most authority figures are backed and supported with lawyers and clauses of laws that protect them from any legal predicaments.

Authority by Mastery: This is the comprehensive knowledge or skill in a field, subject or accomplishment.

You must learn all the tricks, technical knowhow and be very experienced to reach a mastery level.

This is the measure of greatness in a field. People normally honor, respect and accept anyone with a mastery level of authority by experience. (Normally, it may not be easy to reach the level of mastery in a specific field. It takes time, perseverance and experience. The best and fastest approach is to select a market or field that is familiar with your talent.)

So with the idea of authority by power, authority by jurisdiction and authority by mastery, we have the power to change society, pull followers to our domain and help humanity through our talent online.

In other words, an authority figure is someone who is relied greatly upon on a specific subject or technique in a certain domain or a selected class of people due to their mastery level and expertise.

This authority person is respected based on her expertise and can use this expertise as a power to dominate other people indirectly or directly.

We shall look at how the three types of authority can be accessed in the website building section.

According to the German sociologist Max Webber, Authority is divided into three distinct parts. Rational Legal Authority, Traditional Authority and

Charismatic Authority. As an authority website builder, its required to understand each level, but in this book, we shall focus on Charismatic Authority because it falls within the spider technique range.

Rational Legal Authority and Traditional Authority are also very necessary. They are invaluable and can contribute greatly when building authority websites.

The measure of online publishing effectiveness and content strength of a blogger is based on the level or authority he or she may reside.

This is understood well with the explanation of Max Webber’s version of authority. When building websites with this type of authority as a state of mind, our contents are influenced by our mindset and actions. People are affected through the level of expertise we reveal or display on our websites.

Rational Legal Authority is the same as authority by jurisdiction from the previous synonyms.

It is a form of leadership in which the authority of an organization or a ruling regime is largely tied to legal rationality, legal legitimacy and bureaucracy.

People with this type of authority can increase and contribute largely on their blog or website when they reveal their authority through credibility or integrity.

They are already respected because of their rational legal authority. And they can utilize this credibility to create website and change society.

This is very effective because people tend to listen and take their information at heart.

Traditional authority (also known as traditional domination) is a form of

leadership in which the authority of an organization or a ruling regime is largely tied to tradition or custom.

The main reason for the given state of affairs is that it 'has always been that way’. Traditional authority is generally associated with monarchies or tribal systems.

For example, historically, kings derived their authority from tradition. They gained power through a line of succession.

They became kings because their fathers before them had been kings, not because of any special ability or popularity.

They remained in power because it was a tradition in those societies to have a king as a ruler, and subjects did not question the legitimacy of the king's reign over his kingdom.

If we are lucky to find ourselves within the luxury of traditional authority, such power when utilized can influence masses.

And when this type of authority is revealed or shown towards readers, a great conviction and respect is offered. (Imagine there is suddenly the announcement of personal blogs about famous kings and queens like Queen Elizabeth, the Pope and other great dignitaries around the world. And that people go to this blogs just to see the mindsets of these leaders).

Traditional and Rational Legal Authority have to be given through the approval of governments, social norms, inheritance or through academics.

Knowing the level of authority you are exposed to can improve how you utilize and influence people on your website.

When we know how to influence people through authority, then we can work hard with such knowledge.

Because not everyone has the capacity to use Traditional Authority or Rational Legal Authority, we are left with the last and also the most powerful type: Charismatic Authority.

Charismatic Authority

Charismatic Authority is the most powerful and fastest authority to accomplish. And this is the level anyone should start with.

This is the foundation this book is built upon and anyone should accomplish. To be charismatic, we must learn intensely about the lifestyle, needs, wants, problems, topics and what is at the heart of our potential market or society.

Then we create a powerful solution or product that will attract people naturally. If we study our market and come out with an idea that will influence and relate to peoples lifestyle, we will be able to control such domain.

This version of authority can dominate masses, can organize a whole country in times of war and peace. It can enable anyone to make significant decisions through our display of talent awareness, problem research, competence preparation, solution research, and Braintrust review with solution completion.

When people witness such problem solving skills from our websites, we will be obviously depended upon and respected.

To be able to reach the highest peak of an authority figure, we must be able to transform our natural instinct to suit the instinct of our chosen market.

We should exhibit a kind of flair that will involuntary permit anyone to talk about us and what we are doing on our website.

This type of online authority is not something we can buy with money. It is something we can buy with time and commitment.

It is not something that originates within a specific range of people. It can be found within anyone. But it has to be discovered.

It has to be exercised, modified, improved, and reviewed systematically before it can change society.

Obviously, everyone is gifted. And anyone can learn the charismatic authority process and start implementing it.

This is what I termed; the natural deposit of a true nature. It is a gift. It is a gift in a sense that we inherited it without any conscious effort.

Charismatic authority simply says, look within you.

What unique values are you willing to give to the world that only you can offer better?

What are you willing to give to the world that others won’t do?

What do you vigorously do that, only you can originally accomplish better? What do you have to offer to the world from your inner soul that will change the lives of people?

This should be natural. It should be your talent. Something that is wired automatically to your brain and DNA. This can only be achieved when you focus on your talent and skillfully upgrade, modify and practice.

You will end up becoming a charismatic figure when you demonstrate such qualities. You will gain a kind of charisma that will pull and dominate other people to follow you and obey your command on your website.

You will play a part in the world simply by giving out truthfully what you are made of from your heart unto any website. This idea is what an authority website should portray.

The spectacular thing about the psychology of building authority websites is the translating of talent to a product online. And this talent should be very powerful in a sense that people will be awed, wowed and enticed.

The most important advice any experienced writer will give to an upcoming writer being a blogger or an eBook writer is the first approach or the predefined tasks which are written down before any work is done.

If you don’t set goals, you won’t achieve them. The reason why most people don’t set writing goals is because of the fear of commitment.

What most people ask themselves are: what if I don’t have ideas? What if I am not able to finish this project at the right time?

What if someone else is writing the same concept as I am? The genuine thing about writing is the eloquent and unique nature of a style you pick.

This normally comes naturally with each individual since everyone has his or her own talent.

The speed and efficiency you choose to write with, and the intense depth of research of quality information you can give to your readers depends on the right goals you set. Without planning and setting of goals, all the above qualities can never be achieved.

This can be termed as written goals. Written goals are broken down into smaller tasks which are also guided by a time management skill. We shall go through this process thoroughly by setting up daily working goals when writing eBooks or creating website.

To the eBook or blogger’s point of view, a goal is a desired result or outcome of work to accomplish through planning and commitment at a specified point in time.

By setting deadlines, we motivate ourselves through speed, focus and efficiency to beat the deadline. The goal itself is a motivation to focus.

We will be using goals, tasks and time management to come out with a strategy to help speed productivity.

The purpose of learning this skill is to decrease the time spent on writing and increase the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.

The process of setting goals allows individuals to specify and work toward objectives. In other to increase effectiveness, efficiency and productivity, time management skills are required to help reach our goals in time. And then manage these goals with a table of time management processes.

Goals with Website Writing.

Setting up goals when writing should be based on the main idea and purpose of the book. Once you know what the title of the book is, you might as well know the purpose of the book.

You then break down how to achieve such purpose with smaller parts of the ideas or titles which takes the reader a step further to the main purpose.

Because I decided to tackle how to create a website and eBook with the spider technique model in a single book. I will be using a walkthrough example of setting Goals which shows how to create and launch a website in 3days and publish quality 20 articles in 2months.

In other words we are going to write Goals to a book titled: “How to launch authority website” in that aspect, by the time you will be done with the walkthrough, you will also indirectly know the key points and processes when creating and launching a website. I will be using an imaginary writer or character by the name “Augustus”.

Augustus is an aspiring writer who seeks the best and efficient way to use Goals to set up a writing project. Because Augustus is a web developer, he has decided to write an eBook to help up coming writers and bloggers who can’t understand every single technical detail when setting up website.

From the point of brainstorming the idea and main product niche to the time the website makes sales. And to the point where the website reaches a higher conversion rate with either product or service orientation.

You must be aware that, Augustus’s example can be applied to any other niche in book writing. In his case, he is writing this book, because he possesses the technical knowhow to launch and create quality website.

Augustus knows all the technical processes to launch a great website from design of templates and also to writing of quality articles. However, writing an eBook about this whole process will not be easy if he doesn’t plan well.

His first approach was to jot down every purpose he wishes the eBook should benefit it readers. The following are what he wrote down.

· The reader should know the benefits of attractable images, illustrations, Infographic and when to implement them in articles.

· The reader should know how to setup social network platforms to share their articles to pull numerous traffic with followers.

· The reader should know the top and best strategy to optimize conversion rates to generate more revenues for the site.

· The reader should know the top analytics online programs to use and how to use them effectively to benefit the improvement of traffics and conversion rates.

Even though the above list was written by our imaginary friend Augustus, I will used the same list in the chapter “Creating Authority Websites” with detailed walkthroughs. Because this book also tackles the creating of websites.

As you can see, Augustus has laid down the benefits he wants his readers to get from his book. After writing those down, Augustus saw that he could just implement his goals with the above list and set up a time management process with the list.

The following table shows how Augustus implemented this list. He was also able to summarize the above list which he later used as the content list of the eBook.

Following the above table, I believe any aspiring writer can continue and complete the above table. All you have to do is to follow the trend by summarizing your list of benefits to your users as goals.

You can use the same strategy to incorporate your choice of writing genre or niche. In the above table, Augustus used the list of his written notes to summarize the Goals, which he will later use as a content list for his eBook.

Augustus used the tasks column to break the goals down into frames of targets. The target column specifies an estimated total number of words required to write such goal. And the elapse time shows the time needed to complete the short term written goals. When you use such a format to write your written goals. You stay focus, you speed up with productivity, and your work becomes efficient.

When you use the above process, you get organized with paperwork and of tasks. You will also protect your time by insulation, isolation and delegation. The above process is actually a motivator to a focus and concentrated mind.

This article stresses on how to visualize and stay focus on article writing or any other project.

Visualizing and staying focus is very fundamental and essential when we want to complete a website in a specified timeframe or write series of articles.

The way we visualize problems, stay focus, brainstorm ideas, analyze and come out with inventive solutions are the key strategies to reach successful blogging and successful projects.

I introduced the authority spider technique in the preface of these series of articles. And I will like to go further with these strategies.

Before we start using the spider technique, I will also like us to prepare our minds. We need to prepare our minds to focus and concentrate.

This is the first act. All great writers have a deep sense of imagination. And imagination comes from focus and visualization.

This gives us the best solutions to powerful information and writes more to feed our readers.

We first learn to focus and then graduate to visualization while we write. When we are able to reach the level of unconscious visualization while we write, everything flows like water to our mind.

Ideas pop up and we hardly get distracted. We will picture every idea like a movie as we write. Ideas will flow to our mind and through our fingers to our book or word editor like water pouring from a Fountain. This chapter prepares the mind to be opened to receive such infinite ideas undiscovered.

This is why the mind should be prepared. Consciously, your mind should be the center and master controller of your visualization. When you plan and think this consciously, reminding yourself every time you start to focus will eventually repeat the process subconsciously.

However, a mind without focus cannot visualize.

When our focus is cut off by an external distraction or interest distraction, the concentration level is switched off like a television channel tuned to another station. We can picture a focused mind like still water in a basin.

When the attention is distracted, the water is disturbed. It will take a while for a disturbed still water to assemble again to stillness. A focused mind is just like that.

If you can’t focus on one task for a long time, don’t worry. That’s normal. After reading this chapter and practicing every advice, you will be good to go.

So I am going to stress about the art of focus. There are techniques to train the mind to focus on until the task is done.

When I started doing this website thing, it was very difficult to stay focus on a particular niche or market or idea. I was very greedy with ideas that I wanted to do everything at the same.

I was the Jack of all trades and master of none. If I had met a Good Samaritan at that time to convince me to stay focus on a single idea, website or niche until serious profit started coming, I would have been a great millionaire.

This is why this chapter is very important to the Authority spider concept. In fact, if you have read this article to this paragraph, please bear in mind that the following sentence should be your first commandment towards making thousands of dollars online and making a fortune for yourself.

You should focus on one website until that website is making a great amount of money for you.

Then you continue and continue until you can hire other workers.

This is the key. However, this key is only effective, if you choose a great and profitable market and a less competitive market as a beginner.

We shall discuss how to select the best market for your website. But for now, FOCUS is the key. So can we now focus on the word FOCUS?

According to the Webster dictionary, "Focus is the center of interest or activity." This means before we even try to focus on something, we must be interested. Else we might lose interest and lose focus.

Focusing is where everything around us become blur while we squeeze through our mind to get to the focal point of our target object in action and in mind. Some people call this “in the zone” or hooked.

This is the point where our attention is fixed and concentrated on what we are doing to the point of us becoming one with that object of imagination.

And the only enemy to this is from disturbances from external sources like another attraction to our interest or a distractive mechanism which might wake us up from our concentration and imagination. It is natural to lose little focus from natural distractions.

However, the experienced focused mind jumps right back to the level they left immediately and continue to work. Most people find it very difficult to achieve this aim. This is because of the link between these external distractions and their personal interest or interest distractions.

You should also bear in mind that, Focus can be grouped into short term and long term. Short term is focusing on something or a work at a particular time and finishing it before doing anything else.

The long-term group of focus is concentrating on a work or project for years and completing it.

A mind that is not focused cannot finish anything at a time. The word FOCUS is a serious voluntary choice. It originates from free will, discipline and choice. It is a state of mind that builds strong walls around it to prevent any distraction.

To achieve a deep sense of responsibility and awareness towards focus requires creating of self-acceptance and belief. It is only when you turn your focus to believe that you become one with your object of focus.

When I started researching deeply into how a mind can be focused. I discovered something awesome that I want to share here.

According to John Kehoe, who happens to be one of my great virtual mentors, in his book; The Mind Power Game, (paraphrasing) the human mind is virtually huge, big, titanic and holographic to the whole universe.

In order sense, the networks, structures, and neurons in the brain and other undiscovered unseen parts of the mind are infinite like the whole universe.

This means the mind can take anything or everything and still looked unchanged to its size. If I could remember, right on from my infancy, I have learned and read and continue to learn and I have still not sensed the size of my mind or brain becoming full.

WE ARE POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE.

We are great human beings with a spiritual mind that can learn anything and still feel our mind weigh as light as a feather. Can you feel your mind becoming heavy in your head now? I don’t think so.

But because our mind has no sense of weight, this weight loss has shifted to our responsibilities and choice on our time. We are only limited to the time we spent on earth but not on the amount or quantity of information we save to our brain.

How can we be so much powerful with our brain and so less powerful with our time? This is why our time is much more precious than anything in the world.

We cannot waste our time here by trying to do multiple of the task at the same time and waste life not finishing all at a time.

The smart approach is to find within us, what we ultimately love, cherish and feel great to implement and start working on it until it is done successfully.

When we understand this concept, we will be much more motivated to start focusing our mind to any web project we choose and complete it.

Let us begin to understand what actually happens in the brain when our mind is focused on something. The following image shows what goes on in a focused mind.

Other images and everything around us blurs out when we set the focus of our eye on something.

Our persistence in staying focus contributes to achieving product quality and authoritative website creation. I stress more about staying focus because I found myself struggling to stay focus at early stages of my website career.

I took it upon myself to learn the very art of concentration. This helped me a lot by focusing on the single project at a time and finishing them at the right time with the setting of goals, tasks and time management. I talk more about goals and time management in chapter 4.

Reading more and practicing on this subject, we will gain experience in the art of concentration and focus. Work productivity will be improved. The time spent to complete particular project will be decreased and the problem of inconsistency will be eradicated.

Staying focus requires the mind to picture advice of “don’ts” and “do’s”. These are the general advice on focus which targets website creation.

General advice to stay focus on website creation.

Most people with the intensity of staying focus are dreamers. They plan their life, set up passionate goals and decides in their mind with conviction to achieve them at all cost as long as they are alive.

This approach is very crucial. This is why deciding what you dream about is very important. When you plan to select a website market that you are very passionate about, you start to visualize and dream about every aspect of your market.

There is a difference between dreaming and visualizing. Dreaming has an unconscious act. Visualizing is conscious. In the art of visualizing, when you are writing articles for your website, you are aware of what your mind is viewing.

The more time we spend on visualizing something will make us dream about it. This is because of the repetitive nature of our brain. As our subconscious mind only saves and records things based on repetition.

John Kehoe talks more about mind power which I recommend for everyone who really wants to stay focus in his Mind Power Training Program.

Generally, the process is a recollection of ideas from past events gathered into your mind to create a breakthrough or to solve a problem.

You come out with a good story to convince your readers of the subject in question. You accomplish this by planning, researching, analyzing and implementing.

All this is done with the guide of focus and concentration. This act of writing requires a determined and prepared mind with a single goal: to finish the website at all cost without the following two enemies of progression.

1. External Distractions

2. Personal Distractions or Interest Distractions

Understanding how these distractions influence the productive outcome and the ability to control them is the key step to combat inconsistencies in unfinished projects.

Examples of external distractions are the loud noises, notifications, blinking lights or sounds from phones, doorbells, television ads or any other sound or light interactions to our point of focus.

Most of these external distractions are involuntary and there may not be any way we can control them. As human beings, we are wired to immediately respond to natural distractions.

Other forms of external distractions are the persuasive and trickier versions of distractions from our main goals.

An example is you may decide to create a website about caring for babies and selling baby products until you see another niche about parenting which has more attracted products.

You may be distracted from your goal and start buying another domain name and hosting. And before you may know, you have purchased about 10 domains within a year in which you have not completed a single website. This is the most destructive distraction most people are infected with.

The root of breaking focus is evolutionary in our system. The involuntary response to sudden distractions are part of our safety routine. We cannot control this because they are hard-wired into our brain as a passive process.

The only way to combat this is to draw rules with repetition and discipline measurements like abstinence and self-denial.

Our focus is drawn to things that might be dangerous or rewarding. However, we should try to control the ones that are not beyond our reach.

Examples of personal distractions or Interest Distractions are the anticipation and rewards we seek which normally accompany the external distractions we can control.

Normally, personal distractions are the results of external distractions seeking our attention.

Examples of personal distractions may be linked or connected to what we seek or what we may be expecting from the news, entertainment, email checking, social networking notifications, phone notifications from social apps like facebook, twitter, and chatting applications or movies especially series.

When a mind is concentrated on a project and is suddenly distracted by one of this social network notifications, the mind’s attention system is disturbed.

Just like the disturbed still water. It will take you about 25 minutes to recover to that higher level of concentration again. This is why control measures to personal distractions are very important to help stay focus on a project.

There are simple measures to note when to stay focus. In other to share more light on the social media issue and for anyone to see why and how social media is affecting production and work efficiency, the following illustrations explains.

Even though social media is here to stay and very much improves our social connections and has made the world a global world.

It has also taken much of our working life’s time. Taking good measures to this great internet and social revolution personally is a good step to work completions and to stay focus.

This technique can be transferred to our writing task and online blogging schedules. As an eBook writer or an online blogger.

The most crucial advantage and the moment are to be able to concentrate and focus on a particular article, chapter or online operation and complete it before jumping on to other tasks.

However, this hasn’t been easy for most writers and bloggers at the current social networking stage of the world. The facebook, twitters, and emails have taken much of our concentrated time currently.

If I should add text messaging, WhatsApp messenger and other phone applications which we all use daily in our lives to connect with our loved ones.

These have now become a hobby for most people and are the most destructible components in making us lose focus and prolong the time spent on reaching our primary targets and daily goals. Therefore the following are guidelines and tips to control personal and external distractions.

Guidelines to control Personal and External Distractions.

1. Identify what breaks your concentration and avoid switching them on as you work. With regards to social networks, this can be achieved by setting up a time and goal to work on a project. Break this project into small tasks, advisably 30minutes intervals.

2. Reward yourself after each task with 3 minutes resting, stretching of the legs or walking around and if you can control yourself checking your mail in 3hrs intervals. In other words, break every 30minutes by stretching or walking around for ergonomic purposes and only check your mail or other personal distractions every 3hours. (However, some people have carried away and tempted to not continue after the 3hrs break intervals.) If you find yourself not able to control yourself because of some personal interest in one of your twitter feeds or Facebook notifications, the only way is just to abstain from them by switching your internet data off until you are done with your project.

3. Close every tab in your browser if the project you are working on requires the internet.

4. Switch off the internet data of phones, peripherals, and gadgets to give you peace of mind to work.

5. Work in close doors where there are fewer noise distractions around.

6. Wear earphones or headset if you have people around you. If suitable for you, use meditative and concentrated musical melodies with no voice over. Most people are able to concentrate well with low melodies of classical music, jazz or any low suitable and favorite instrument. (The trick is to guide your mind to a stimulation of prolonged concentration and focus.)

7. Plan and write down daily tasks by breaking your daily writing goals into parts and set this tasks with time intervals of completion. (I share more light on Task, Goals and Time in chapter 3.) This helps to concentrate with each task within minutes of intervals. Moving from task to task during the day will help motivate you to stay focus and eventually help to reach a daily writing goal.

Apart from using the above guidelines, you are responsible for controlling your attention to the current project you are working on.

This is also very difficult since most people don’t plan or set up goals and end up working on multiple projects within a day which they never finish within years. Chapter 4 share more light on setting up Project Goals, tasks, scheduling, and controls.

There are tools that also help us to stay focus. These tools or practices are fundamental to the beginning learner who wants to stay focus on a work without distractions.

1. Low Melody Instrumentals

Low melody instrumentals do well for some people, while others prefer jazz or low slow violin or classical music.

In my shared musical melody, I prefer Paul Collier from stokes. Paul’s meditational music has helped me a lot to concentrate. There are other low melodies to start with. The aim is to use the low melody to stimulate the mind to concentrate and to stay focus.

Low melody music cuts down on distractions and helps to stay focus on works. The goal here is to prepare the mind to stay focus until a prescribed work is done.

There are many types of music that have been shown to put the mind in study mode. The following are some of the list mentioned:

· Baroque classical music is said to have mind-boosting effects. Productivity writer David Allen of “Getting Things Done” fame has said he prefers music like Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #3, and other Baroque tunes.

· Others say that music at 60 beats-per-minute is required to put the brain in a “bright and breezy” frame of mind. In this state, your thinking and creativity are said to be easier. Concertos for Recorder – Telemann & Vivaldi is recommended.

· Since classical music may not be your thing there are other types of music that have been shown to increase your concentration levels. Ambient music or sound is designed to keep your brain engaged at a lower, subconscious level. Waterfalls, rain, seashore, whatever your taste.

· More modern electronic “Chill out” music genres such as Trip-hop, Nu jazz, Ambient House, Ambient Trance, New Age and other sub-genres of Downtempo are designed to relax the mind and allow it to roam.

· Eno’s “Music for Airports” has been noted as being useful for serious studying and deep concentration. This music was designed to relax stressed-out travelers at the airport and put them at ease.

When you start focusing and gradually reach a higher level with the best and suited environment, you become one with what you are doing. This is what the psychologist Dr. Perry has to say from lifehacker.com

From what I've studied, it seems that both the right and left brain are working efficiently together, but able to screen out peripheral distractions. Time seems to disappear and you and the thing you're doing feel as though they've become one. Such flow states have aspects in common with trance states, though it's tough to do MRIs of someone writing a book or playing a game.

When your mind is set on a task with all the above guides. There is no way you will be distracted by mere personal distractions or inconsistencies.

This concept is stolen from the species spider and its way of catching prey. The mind is the most powerful asset and you will be urged to use it the right way to increase your writing productivity. I strike more on the mind at how to visualize and focus and the psychology of building authority websites.

This technique will teach you time management, goal setting, motivation, focus, guidelines to control external and internal distractions and strong methods, purposely to help prepare the mind for strong website building and increase website conversion rates.

(Conversion rate is the rate at which someone buys or reaches a goal on your website from the time they landed on your page to the time they buy something or reach the goal you set to achieve).

I explain the spider technique as a concept and as a guideline to follow to achieve higher conversion rates online and to reach a viral traffic online.

The authority spider technique makes it easier for anyone to approach building great websites with great sales and positive reviews online.

My name is Stephen Aidoo. I am an African from Ghana. I am a programmer and a blogger. I struggled in the programming world for years just to understand the concept of programming from functions to classes to libraries, polymorphisms, and all those big complicated programming language jargons and projects from languages like C, C#, Javascript, Visual Basic, PHP, and the almighty C++.

For some reason, I have created blogs and websites with pseudo names that have impacted the online world and myself.

The passion and inquisitiveness I developed toward computers led me to this blogging domain. I built software with the asp.net language which I used to send around with the office-to-office marketing technique.

I made a reasonable amount of money from my software and still do. At a point in time, I decided to build websites because I found them fascinating and loved them.

I started learning HTML, CSS, css3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, Photoshop, asp.net applications, Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, and many more online programming languages and tutorials.

My favorite is now php, asp.net applications, and WordPress.

UPDATE: 28th May 2022, my favorite is language is now Laravel, React, and Javascript.

This post is written for anyone who can read and write. It will also be great for people with programming backgrounds, but not entirely required.

I wrote authority spider to help people struggling with website creation to succeed well. Especially the profit-making aspect.

I started practicing search engine optimization (SEO) or the rules and tactics to manipulate or tell Google to catapult websites or online articles to the first positions between 2011 and 2013.

And if I should elaborate a little about (S.E.O). Simply, it is the techniques of optimizing your website and articles with the rules and resources to attract search engines to rank your pages to the top positions of their index or result pages.

Or, S.E.O helps your website to reach the top position of Google searched pages which generate traffic, which also brings you more profits.

During 2011 and 2013, it was easier for me to rank articles to the top positions with researched targeted keywords.

I made good money from AdSense and the Amazon Affiliate Program. AdSense and Amazon Affiliate are the advertising platforms which I used to earn money from the traffic or visitors I got from the websites and pages I created.

I was using the niche site approach. The niche site technique was using keyword research techniques, buying the domain name and hosting, launching the website and putting about 10 to 15 short articles with not more than 800 words but with the right keywords.

With small effort of using Backlinking techniques and other keyword researching as well as Blackhat techniques (Blackhat is wrong manipulation of article writing and wrong backlink techniques that somehow tricks search engines to rank a website’s page to the top position), it was moderately easy to make money online with normal writing background and SEO skills.

Within two years, I made thousands of dollars and enjoyed well investing and buying other niche websites.

This easier approach and comfort zone of reaching an article to either the first or second position with Blackhat techniques was shattered after many series and updates from Google's algorithm, making these tactics less effective and finally dissipating entirely.

The average niche website creator wouldn’t take it lightly if they really wanted to make real money online after these Google updates.

After 2013 I had no choice but to find other profitable ideas. I discovered another strategy from Private Blog Networks (P.B.N's).

The techniques from PBN's were very effective from 2013 to 2014 and early 2015 until Google emerged again with a new operation, OPERATION PBN (my naming version).

This strike was an uppercut blow to my financial jaws because I invested a quarter of my assets including precious time into building PBN links.

Not forgetting the registration and payments I made to these private blogs and the articles published.

Google somehow discovered these backlink strategies and killed me softly DE indexing these private blog networks making my blogs invisible.

After the sudden announcement of Spencer Haws’s famous statement “GOOGLE YOU WON” at nichepursuits.com, I finally gave up to every Blackhat technique. I gave up from PBN to expired domains to all unwise seo practices.

Man is bound to survive at all cost if perseverance and determination is never abandoned. I never gave up.

With the intense knowledge again in keyword research and my information technology background from the National Institute of Information Technology, an Indian institution, I once again gained momentum with a different and proper approach, followed the best and right strategies and came back to my comfort zone making thousands again.

I was therefore compelled to follow the right and long-term procedure. These strategies are what I tackle in this post.

The core rule and concept in this post is to build anyone to create an authority website which will stand the test of time as Google keeps on updating their search engine.

This post is based on questions like: What is the right approach and how does this post become a solution to combat all Google’s future updates as well as building websites is concern?

With the approach of building a profitable website, Google’s updates are like a surveillance system aimed at bloggers and site builders trying to use any Blackhat technique.

This is why I lay more emphasis on the psychology of building backlinks. By using Brian Dean’s strategy and not having a great and quality content attached is like planning a great wedding, inviting higher dignitaries and surprising them with a fight between the bride and the groom.

No matter how high and strong a backlink or page juice may be, if they are not linked to a great content, your website is a time bomb waiting to explode or disappear at the next Google update.
