I've been reading alot of other blogs such as http://www.problogger.net and http://www.stevepavlina.com just to name a couple which say they make money from their blog sites. Some say in the 6 figure / year bracket. I don't doubt their sincerity. I do wonder how much work and effort they really had to put in though. They make it sound pretty easy. I read alot of the content from those and other blogs and it does make sense. Some even post snapshots of their earnings. I recently added google adsense to mine. Seems everyone has google adsense on their site nowadays. I figured its worth a try. For those like me who are curious if all those other sites are really telling you the truth i will let you know month by month how much this site makes if any. If I end up making what some of the other claim to make I won't need to work this full time job anymore ;-)

Don't get me wrong I do like my Job, I'm the IT Directory for an internet company. But who would "choose" to work full time? I definately wouldn't sit around on my ass spending money but i would find a couple hobbies i enjoy doing to keep me occupied. Ok maybe even a part time job, but i don't think i would work full time if i didn't "have to". I'd rather spend that time with family & freinds.

Well we'll see how this goes, i'll keep you up-to-date along the way.

Steve

My First Blog

This is my first BLOG entry. People have been asking me why I haven't started one. Frankly I didnt have the time. I said I'll get around to it some day. Well I now realize that there is no time like the present and if i keep putting it off, I'll never do it, so today I'm starting it. I come across so much information that is truly useful and I dont always have time to write an article. In many cases the ideas dont require an entire article anyway. Blogging seems to make a lot of sense and i suggest it to other people so i figure its about time I do it for myself. Thanks for reading and I hope all my time and effort helps (or at least entertains) you and brings you back again.

Sincerely,
Steve
