On the way home I tuned in 103.5 FM to listen to the test broadcast of the new low-powered radio station in Carrboro, WCOM.  The station goes on the air for real in September.

The place was packed. The current owners are doing something right. If anything, they need more space (and more wait-staffing). I reported previously that their food menu is quite limited. It turns out that they do have a more extensive dinner menu (just for entertainment nights?).
