Have you ever made a decision that completely changed your life.  I don’t mean like you change your job, or you met some new friends.  I’m meaning all of that and more.  About a month ago, I did just that…

I literally took my life and flipped it up side down.  I moved to a completely different city, one that I moved away from 7 years earlier, leaving the life that I had built where I was.  I did this because me and the girl that I was with decided to separate after 6 and a half years of being together.  Big change.

We were living in a very small town, 1 store and maybe about 4000 people during the winter time, and I wanted to meet new people, start climbing again, and really, just start completely fresh.  I figured that “if my life was going to change, I was going to dramatically change it”.  But a funny thing happened when I did all this; life threw me a few curve balls that I didn’t expect and never even thought would happen.

So what have I done with all this???

I ended up bouncing around for about a month trying decide where I really wanted to go.  What did I really want to do.  It’s almost like I was lost for a month.  The game plan that I had when I decided to move here didn’t fall into place as they normally do for me.  Normally when I make this type of plan and take the action steps like I did, everything just flows easily.

But this time it didn’t.  I just kept hitting walls and stumbling blocks. Nothing seemed to work out.

I thought that I would have my own place by now.  But instead I’m crashing at some families house.  I needed to buy a car but the car that I bought ended up being almost double what I’d originally planed to spend.  That took my cash supply down quite a bit more than anticipated.  So needless to say, life threw me for a big loop and I had to do something about it.

It actually wasn’t till yesterday that I finally made sense of it all.  I realize that I was barking up the wrong tree.  Let me explain that a bit…

The path that I was going down and the things that I was looking for were not in alignment with my actual goals and dreams.  I was heading off in some crazy direction that I thought would teach me a lot and was along the line of where I wanted to go but it totally wasn’t.

And you want to know the funny thing of it all???

During this whole time that I was barking at this other tree, I was more stressed and freaking out than I’ve been in years.  I mean sleepless nights, panicking, mind wondering and not being able to focus, being late to meet people, it was just nuts.

So two days ago after driving over 200km (125miles) all over the valley here I made the decision that by the next morning I would have an answer to all this crap and have would have figured out where I wanted to go.  Then that night I had a 3+ hour long conversion with my mom about everything that was going on and the issues that I was facing and the things that were coming up for me.

By the end of the night, I had thought that I had made my decision, I wasn’t a big fan of it and there were some major issues with it around my cash flow but I figured it was the best solution for me at the time. But it wasn’t.

The next morning (yesterday) I was driving into town (I’m staying just outside of town at the moment) to meet a good long time friend of mine and it hit me like a ton of bricks.  I started thinking about my life and what I really wanted and I realized that if I went with the option that I had decided upon the night before, I would be going against my goals and dreams.  It would have almost derailed me and I didn’t even know that I was going to do this.

And not only that but an option came up to me that I’d never even put much thought into and it seemed to fit perfectly.  And I mean perfectly.  This new option would not only move me in the direction of what I wanted but it would be the easiest route.

So the bottom line of this all to me was actually a very big lesson that I felt I really needed to share with you.  It was a lesson of knowing what you want and really paying attention how you feel around all of the options that are presented to you.

If you’re stressing out and freaking out like I was, there’s a very good chance that whatever you’re thinking about is not in alignment with what you’re truly wanting.  You’re basically fighting swarm of bees with your hands and you’re not even hitting any of them.  Their just pestering you and wont stop till you change your tactic.

I don’t know if you realize this or not but MOMENTUM is huge when you’re attracting something into your life.  As funny as this is, I didn’t realize this up until a few weeks ago.  Let me share the story…

See I’ve knowing about and used the Law of Attraction many many times before in my life but I always had a hard time attracting the things that I felt were big.  Now I know that I can attract anything that I want in life but what I was having a hard time with were those things that would have completely changed my life.

I never seemed to be able to attract big things in my life quickly, they always took a lot of time.  That was until one time I did it, but… a funny thing happened after, I couldn’t really do it again.  But now I know why, but first, let me share the story so you’ll get what I’m talking about when I share this new light bulb experience.

Quite a few years ago I got myself into a bit of financial trouble.  I had bills to pay, rent to pay, and all these other things that I needed to pay yet I had a job that was barely paying me anything.  What I needed was to basically double my income and I needed to do it quickly.

I was studying the Law of Attraction from a guy by the name of “Bob Proctor” (I’m sure you’ve heard of him) but one of the things that he said and says is to write down on a piece of paper what it is that you want and read it as many times a day as you can.  And that’s what I did.

I got really specific about what it was that I was wanting,  I wrote it on one of the cards that Bob gave me, and then I started to read it as often as I could. I actually kept it next to my wallet in my pocket so every time I touched my wallet, I took the card out and read it.

At first, this really didn’t seem to do anything for me.  I was just reading the card and I would get a little excited or enthusiastic with every reading.  It wasn’t until one day my girlfriend Renee wanted to go out climbing out in the mountains that things changed.

What happened was that while I was driving I took out my card and I started to read it again and something just jumped into my head.  I felt I needed to break it right down and pinpoint exactly why I needed to make what I was wanting to make.  So I pulled out my cell and started to use the calculator to beak it right down.

Through doing this I got so excited.  I mean really like head over my heals jumping for joy because I saw that what I was wanting to attract into my life was going to give me everything that was currently wanting.  And a couple of weeks later, I had it.

Now, let’s break this right down here so that we can make sense of what actually happened and how the Law of Attraction and really the Law of Vibrations worked with momentum.

But first you need to realize that when we attract something into our lives we attract is through our energy and what needs to happen is we need to build up our energy.  This is why some people seem to be able to attract things at will where others it seems to take a lot longer.  It’s because some people can build up their energy quickly where others take a lot more time.

And that’s exactly what I was doing when I first started to read that card.  Every time I pulled out that card and read it I was adding to the momentum of my manifestation.  Each and every time I read that card I felt good until one day I had a huge clarity around it to the point that I was flying.

The constant reading of the card gave my energy the momentum it needed for me to massively attract what I wanted and at that time in my life it was doubling my income.  Now guess what, IT WORKED.  Within a couple of months of when I first started to read the card my income doubled.  The other funny part was that with-in the next year after that, my income went up another 25%.  All because of the momentum that I had built through reading that card.

What am I getting at with this here?

Well it’s this.  If you want to attract something into your life you need to have the energy behind it.  The universe works on energy and if you don’t have the energy behind something, you won’t be able to bring it into your reality.  So find a way (like having a card that you read every day) and use it to build the momentum that you need.

Through doing this, you will be able to attract exactly what it is that you want just like I’ve done in the past and what I’m currently doing right now.

OK, I sat down looking to write something out to share with you an experience that I’ve just been going through.  But what I found was that all I could think about was the concept of “Not Being The Key”.  It’s like I’m just feeling that I need to write something more than what I was going to write.  So here goes.

What am I meaning what I say the term “Not Being The Key”?  First off, this concept is going to go a bit in the face for a lot of people in business.  Now that’s not what I’m intending but it’s something that I find most people in business don’t really get.  It’s about the founder, that person that starts a business, not being the key to the business.

When I look around business today, online and off line, I see so many people that have a small business mindset even though they what they want is to have a big business.  They design and build their business around them.

For example, with an online business, marketing is huge.  It’s the life blood for that organization.  Because there is no physical location, they have to market in some fashion in order to get enough people to look at their site and buy their products.

So when an entrepreneur usually get’s started, they don’t want to spend a lot of money so they decide that their going to do a bunch of the work to get things going.  Now I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with this.  Usually it’s a great idea.  But the entrepreneur needs to have the design of their business a head of time.

Where are they wanting their business to go?  What are they wanting it to do?  What is the purpose of that business?  How is it going to achieve these things?  What will the entrepreneurs long term role be?  How much do they want to physically do themselves?

These are all things that will make up the architecture of the business. I know for my business, it’s been positioned to weed me out of a lot of the daily activities.  Now the business isn’t fully up to that point yet but that’s the layout I’ve designed for it.

Being “Not Being The Key” means that you’re not the everything for the business.  I know of many businesses where if the entrepreneur isn’t there, the business will flounder, and I’m talking about some big business here.  Businesses that are doing 4 or 5 million dollars per year.

This entrepreneur is actually The Key to the business.  Everything is dependent upon that person showing up and being there day in and day out.

But what I’m talking about here is pre-planning to have you, the entrepreneur, fazed out at some point.

Let me give you an example from my own business as to what I’m talking about.

I have several different websites out there where I market other peoples products, affiliate sites.  I built these sites and I’ve done all the marketing for them.  I put a lot of my own time into these sites.  Now, for me to increase my revenue in this area of my business I need to either add to these sites and do more marketing to them or I need to build more sites.

Here’s the thing, I could either spend the time and do some of these things or I could take some of the revenue that I earn from these sites and pay a skilled person to do this work for me there for freeing up my time.  Then all I need to do is check their quality of work and make sure that what I’m paying for is getting done correctly. This might only be a few hours a week once I get them rocken and rolling.

If I take option two, I’m no longer the key for that revenue to grow.  I can be off doing something else that I would rather be doing and letting another person, or another company, do the work and let them be the key for the revenue to grow.

Let me tell you, I took option two.

I’m sure that you recognize that everyone of us is different than everyone else.  I know that I saw that very early on in life.  But we don’t always think about what that really means when it comes to building a business either online or offline, at least, I didn’t realize it anyways.

So what am I getting at here?

Well, it’s simply the fact that when you get into business you need to learn about you, about who you are, what you’re good at, where your strengths really lie.  Then leverage those strengths in the best possible way you can for your business.

Let me explain this using my life as an example.

When I first got started in business I heard the concept looking at other people that were successful and then do what they did.  So that’s exactly what I did.  I saw all these successful people and I started to emulate what I saw them do.  The problem that I ran into was that none of the stuff I saw them do seemed to work too well for me.

So instead of sitting back and looking within to find out why things were not working I just went out and found someone else to learn from.  And what happened was that I spent years learning from this person than that person about what they were doing to become successful.

This really sucked and was really frustrating.  Looking back on this I kind of feel that I was a bit insane.  Instead of trying to do something different I was just changed the wall that I was beating my head against.  Ouch.

All this changed a while back when I started to look at myself and I really started to learn what I was NATURALLY GOOD AT.  What are my natural skill and abilities that I can leverage to produce more without it being a struggle or a push?

(I’m going to talk about The Law of the Lid here a bit so if you haven’t seen this post, I highly recommend that you watch the video.)

I learned that where my strengths lie are not in the public eye.  But that’s where I was spending the majority of my time because that’s what my mentors told me to do.  Be out in front of the pack and make a name for yourself.  This is an area where my starting point was so low on the scale that I could never really become a master at it.  On my best days today, I would only say I’m a 5 or a 6 out of ten where other people whose naturally good at this stuff would start at a 5 or a 6.

What I was not told to do was to find a way that generates a cashflow and then expand upon it.  But that’s actually where I really do well.  I start at a 5 or a 6 here.  I’ve always been good with money and with managing where it goes to get the best return out of it.

Have you ever played the game “Cashflow” by Robert KiyosakiI?  If you haven’t I highly recommend that you find someone that has it and play it a half dozen times or so.  Anyways, this game is designed to teach someone how to get out of the “Rat Race” and to become financially free.  (Really cool way to play with money without having to put hard cash on the table.)

I’ve literally played this game over a thousand times (no joke) and looking at what I do in the game compared to what I use to do in real life, there’s no wonder that I struggled, I was not only fighting the world of business but I was fighting myself the whole time.  It was like trying to paddle up a raging river thinking that my goal was up the river instead of just going with the flow of it (going with what I’m naturally good at) and just letting the river take me with ease.

I hope that this helps you in someway with your own business journey and I encourage you to take the time to look with in.  Look at who you are and what you’re naturally good at.  What do you like to do the most in your business?   What get’s you the most excited when talking about your business?  To find these things, ask someone that you’re close with what they think.  Talk to your parents or long time friends.  All these people can really help you get a good in-site into yourself and your passions.

And when you discover what these talents are, soak them up.  Allow yourself to see what these skill can really do for you and if they dramatically change your outlook towards business and even life like it did for me, let it.  You’ll be grateful that you did.

In the last couple of weeks I was recommended to go check out a self profiling test that shows you how you naturally generate wealth.  Now I know that a lot of people don’t like these types of profiling because they categorize people into certain ways of being or acting.  But for me, I find them very helpful for learning about myself.

See for myself, I love to learn about anything that helps me to understand who I am and how I work best.  By me taking a test like this and seeing what it has to say, I can then choose to either accept what it says or I can reject what it says.  It’s really that simple to me.

The test that took was from a site called www.wealthdynamics.com.  Here they tell you about the 8 different ways or styles for generating wealth in this world.  By knowing what your natural style is you can then make changes to your business or to what you’re doing so that you’ll get the best results for your time.

For me, it’s made a real dramatic difference to how I’m looking at how I operate my business and even how I’m doing things in other areas of my life.  Let me explain…

The results came back from the test and it said I was something they call a “Lord”.  This was actually a shocker because from watching the video that explains these 8 styles I thought that I was something they call a “Mechanic”.  But hey, that’s why I took the test, to better understand myself.

A “Lord” is someone who’s natural style for generating wealth comes for their ability to manage cashflow.  Take for example a landlord on a rental property.  The landlord normally doesn’t own the property, the banks do, yet they still manage to make money out of it through generating cash and managing it.  This is where a “Lord” excels.

In getting back to the story here, after I took this test I had a lot of mixed emotions about the results because I didn’t feel that the test was right.  I was that sure I was a “Mechanic”.  I actually thought that I was just getting jerked around.  But after a few hours of looking at this and doing some much needed self realization, I came to the conclusion that I’m very much a “Lord” by there terms.

I had to look at how I truly think when it comes to business and life.  I realized that I’ve always had the tendency of doing things like how a “Lord” would do it.  I know that I’ve said to myself (and to Renee) dozens of time that if I was running this business or I had the control of this asset that I could make it more profitable ether in time or money.

I mean seriously.  I use to coach someone with their business and all of their financials were a mess.  Over the time that I was with them the business grew dramatically but so did all of the expenses.  There were thing that we didn’t need or want to be spend money on but the owner wouldn’t take the time to make a phone call to stop it.  This cost the business thousands of dollars that could have gone to something more important or turned it into profit for them.

Needless to say, I was doing the things that came easily for me but I didn’t really control the cashflow, I was just looking at it.

So within 24 hours of taking the test, I’ve made the decision to make some very big changes within my business.  Things that will have me using my natural skills and abilities the best for generating the most out of my business.  It’s also left me thinking about how I can get other people with different natural abilities to help me grow my business.

Just some food for thought here on something that I feel has really changed the way that my business will operate from this point on.  This is what I feel everyone should do.  Look at themselves and their business and find ways that they can do more with it.  What can they change or add that will give their business more results.

I’m going to talk about some truths today.  Now I know that the things that I’m going to talk about here are not normally things that people share about their businesses but I feel that it’s important.

What I want to share with you is about a marketing plan that I decided to do, how I put it together, the results, and why I got the results that I did get.  So let’s get into it shall we…

A few weeks back I decided to put together something that I thought would do 2 things:

1) Help more people take action with starting their business.

2) Generate extra revenue for my business.

If you haven’t realized this by now the entire reason for my business is to get other peoples businesses streamlined and running nice and smooth but the challenge happens because a lot of people aren’t willing to take the action to either start their business or implement new strategies that can really change their business for the better.

So what was this marketing plan that I put together was intended to get people to take that action that they needed to take to move their business forward.  It was simply this…

I took my course “The Secrets To The Online Business Puzzle Road Map” and I put together a video that would explain the basics of what the course shows people.  Then I decided to give people a big break and I dropped the price by over 30% for a limited window.

Now doing a sale is not something that is all that new but it is in the online business world.  Seeing someone take a product or a service that they already have out on the market and put it on sale is not something that I’ve actually ever seen online but it we do see it in the traditional brick and mortar business world.

I’m sure that you’ve gone to a grocery store or a some other type of store and seen things on sale.  Lots of places have weekly sales that are in some sort of a flyer.  I know people go through flyers like this and find things that they want and go out and buy it.  Now why do they do it when it’s in a flyer?  It’s because people like to save money.  And why do the businesses do it?  Because products sell faster when it’s on sale so they earn more revenue.

Like I said, I decided to test this out for myself and see what happens.  Will people act on the chance to improve their business without having to pay as much?  I thought that they would since I get emails all the time saying that they would love to get the course or they need the help but they don’t have the $97 that the course costs.

So what happened?

To be honest, I made a really big mistake that I didn’t realize till after I put it all together and launched it.  The mistake that I made was that I never fully explained what I was doing to everyone.  I kind of left it like it was a secret and they would have to wait to get all of the details.

And you know what, people didn’t wait around and truthfully, I don’t blame them.  I wouldn’t have waited around either.

So what’s the moral of this little story?  Be upfront with your prospects.  If you have something that you feel will benefit them then tell them.  If you don’t tell them then they’ll never really know how you can assist them in their life.

Now I know that so many entrepreneurs miss massive areas in there business.  For me it was marketing. That’s what I missed.  It took me years of being learning and thinking I was building a business to get the the fact that I missed a major piece, marketing.

But don’t think for a second that marketing is the only piece to business that people miss.  Usually people don’t pay any attention to their finances.  People tend to think that the solution to their money problem is to earn more money. This some times is the answer but often it’s just the management of the money that’s the real problem.

This might be the area that you’ve fallen into but then again you could be like me and you’ve fallen into the trap of not really marketing your business.  But either way, your business could have a massive hole in it.

So look at your business.  Really take the time and look at it as a whole.  Are there some holes?  Is your business not where you want it to be and if so, why not? And when you figure out where the hole is go out there and fix that hole.  Maybe you need to take a business finance course, or learn to market, or hire a professional that can fill that hole and make your business stronger.  But do something.

If you don’t act on a hole that you find in your business, then the business will die.  It might not be today or tomorrow but without fixing the leaks the ship will sink.  Believe me, I’ve seen it.

I’ve watched someone that had a business where their biggest week was over $22,000 in revenue and in one week they lost  it all.  This happened because they only had one revenue stream in the business.  They’d spent years and years building that business and because the business was all focused on one client they had a massive hole.  One day that client did some changes and this guys massive business came tumbling down like a ton of bricks.

I know that you don’t want to go through that experience.  So find the holes and fix them now.

PS: I don’t know if you’ve noticed any holes that you might have in your business just in the time that you’ve been going through this but if you have, this is a good thing.  It’s good because now you can deal with it.  If you  didn’t know about them, the problem would just get bigger and bigger.

Now act on this hole.  Go out there and find the solution.  Figure out what you need to do or learn so that this hole is patched up.  You might need to hire an expert or you might need to take a course.  But either way, DO IT!!!

Getting that first cheque from your online business is a big thing, I know.  I remember when I made my first bit of money off of the internet.  I was stocked.  Lately, I’ve had a few people ask me how I did it and I realized that I’ve never shared this.  So I thought that I would.

Before I get into the whole story, I’m going to be frank with you.  I’m going to be honest and tell you straight up how I did it.  It’s not going to be roses and butterflies here, just the facts.

So how did I get that first cheque?

Not all that easily to tell you the truth.  When I first decided to build a business using the internet, I really had no idea what that really meant.  At the time, I was involved in a network marketing company and I thought I could grow it faster online than offline.  What I didn’t realize was that I was jumping into a completely different ball game.

When I first came online, I had a singular focus, getting leads for my business, period, end of story.  That was my fist mistake. Even though I was aware of creating multiple streams of online income, I didn’t really get it and I thought that I wouldn’t need to get it.

Basically I wasted several months trying to get leads for my particular business instead of looking at earning an income from the computer.  When I got this concept and actually took action on it, that’s when I made my first cheque.

Now what did I actually do?

I did a couple of things.  The first thing that I did was I found an affiliate program for a company that I really liked and respected.  It was for a site software program that assist people in the home base business industry build sales funnels quickly and easily.  At the time, that was how I was making all of my sales funnels and I figured that if I liked it and was using it, other people would want to use it too.

I got my affiliate account from them all set up and got my affiliate page to promote.  I then went out and bought a domain name that I could forward to my affiliate link.  (Basically meaning I give people the domain name that I bought and it would send people to my new affiliate page where the sale would be made)

After this, I started to market this domain name.  To do that, I did several different things.

1) I made about a half of a dozen different videos all of them pointing back to the domain name.

2) I wrote about a dozen different articles that again pointed back to the domain name.

3) I was active in a forum and I changed my signature link to my new domain name.

Even though I was doing all of this, I some how didn’t make a sale for about a month or two after putting this all together.  For me, it was not something that was quick and painless.  I spent many hours creating these different content pieces and then many more hours getting some traffic to these pieces of content that pointed back to my affiliate link.  But that’s what I did.

Now it was not a big sale, just a whopping $18 but it was income and I did it.  I also knew that if it worked once, it could work a thousand times more. So after this, I just kept plugging away at it, building my business.  Getting a lot of things wrong but also, a lot of things right.

From following what I learned by making this first bit of cash, I’ve now gone on to make thousands of dollars and I now have a consistent income from the internet.  Now I don’t say this to brag or to boast, but to inspire you to take action and grow your own business.  I know that it’s possible because when I started, I knew nothing about nothing in the way of the internet.

So use what I’ve done and do it for yourself.

Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how I’m achieving so much success on YouTube, so I thought I would share one of my little secrets, Tube Blaster Pro.  Thanks to Tube Blaster Pro I’ve had a lot of success on YouTube getting thousands of views on some of my videos.  And if you know anything about marketing on YouTube then you know that views are everything.

So What Has Tube Blaster Pro Really Done For Me?

The program has done a lot from me from gathering friends, getting subscribers, views on videos, and even getting positive comments and ratings on my videos.  Basically, it’s given my video marketing a very fast jump start.  So let’s get into what you can do with this simple little program.

In your emails, they allow you to attach a video to the message (This is big ).  Then when you send out the email to all of your friends, you will automaticly be getting views on your videos.  But there’s a catch; YouTube only allows you to send up to 25 emails at a time.  This is where Tube Blaster Pro comes in.

What the program can do is send out all of these messages for you without you having to actually do this manually.  BIG TIME SAVER HERE.

Let’s look at it this way.  You just went out and made a video to market your business in some way.  Now you want to get people to watch this video and to get it ranked in the YouTube search results.  This is where Tube Blaster Pro shines.  If you would have been using the program to gather friends, you would have built up a bit of a network of people in your market.  Then you send each of them a private message or an email sharing your video and asking them to comment on it or rank it if they like it.  This will get you a lot of views and a lot of positive comments.

Because your video is getting a lot of attention right away, YouTube will think that it must be something that is very popular and they will get it into the search rankings faster.  Now I have to worn you, this might not get you to the top but I know from first hand experience that it can get you ranked well for some pretty big keywords.
