Both team owners agree that combining their efforts and resources toward a common goal makes the most sense as each team seeks the elusive corporate backing necessary to race on a full-time basis. </p><p>“Partnering with Dave and his team is going to allow us the opportunity to continue to spread the Word through the sport of drag racing”, said Kim Grasty, owner of Motorsports Evangelism, Inc. “As our ministry continues to grow and evolve this is the direction we’ve been pointed in.”</p><p>“Kim and (his wife) Paula have done some great work over the past 11 years”, said Dave Stevens, owner of Stevens Family Racing, LLC. “We believe that by forming this partnership we will have even greater marketing power and make us more attractive to potential sponsors, not to mention the possibilities for outreach.”</p><p>The team is currently in negotiations with several potential sponsors and hopes to announce their plans for the 2008 season in the coming weeks.
