I agree that this trib clip is trash. Years ago i had the same problem with the brandon shopper trash in my yard. After filing a formal littering complaint with the sheriffs office i got a call from Ganett Broadcasting in New yoke . Told them i was pressing forward with a criminal complaint and the problem was solved. No more trash in my yard. Now the trib clip , same company is doing the same thing. Its time to call the cops and then go after the cops if they refuse to enforce the littering law. Hope i get the same results.

In many communities, there is a box under each person’s mailbox for newspaper deliveries. The newspaper could simply give these away for subscribing. But there’s an even cheaper way, too.

I would put the news on the internet. Would be a lot less expensive.

Hey Patsy… I wonder if you have a leak somewhere… Do you have anyone that can take a look at your meter for you?

What do you suggest newspapers use as a replacement for the plastic bags? One of the reasons the plastic bag ban at grocery stores is realistic is because there are other simple options to use instead.

Please, enough on “Cowtown and their problems. I have been trying for two years to have my meter read by “a person”,,they estimate because either “quote” dog in yard, not true, “gate locked,” not true, etc etc. My bills for one person are ridiculous….I have asked for them to move the meter, and I am still waiting for something they send to read it myself and send myself…to bad a 70 year old woman has to resort to this…..yep, cowtown it is.

I asked a County police officer about this subject, is it not littering?
These free Trib newspapers are not only an eye sore but they do signal when no one is home. During the height of the forclosure mess, you could tell which houses were empty by the size of the pile of free newspapers. I often thought about throwing these litter papers up on the tribs lawn. Wonder how they would like that?

In my neighborhood the St Pete Times delivers their free newspapers to your mailbox. No mess, just more junkmail and much more responsible.
