This film had a lot going for it with the previews, however the plot never really went further than the previews. Will Ferrell is decent in it, as is Emma Thompson. I lost interest about half way through, but like the good moviegoer I am, since it was a rental I decided to watch the rest. It wasn't as bad as say The Black Dhalia, which was watched for 14 minutes with a plot slower than molasses.
the plot is an entertaining concept, and there are some great laugh points, but the film lacked a real sense of motivation, if your a Will Ferrell fan, it's worth the rental. Not as good as Talledega Nights, and FAR from Anchorman.
FINAL WORD: MilkDUDS Please.
I am a Will Ferrell fan, and proud of it. Most likely you'll be watching this at home, thus
saving you from sticky shoes. Unless of course your home is really, really messy.
