Dutch Canadian producer Elaquent's upcoming instrumental album The Midnight After is scheduled to release on HuhWhat&Where Records March 11th. To get us prepared for the new album Elaquent also known as, eQ sent over a preview for us to head nod to. The first single "Dutch Canadian" is now available on HW&W Recordings soundcloud page along with some oldies and goodies. Listening through the album many tracks caught my ears but I can only share with you a select few for now. Cruisin' through I noticed Greensboro NC emcee/producer Castle on Flow Worthy today. The track "I Got A Whip Tonight" is a sho' nuff fire starter for these winter nights. Sylvia needs no introduction on this sampled version that holds you close. The entire album has a nice blend of instrumentals and samples with a hint of vocals from Jean Goode on track "Outsider."
