Cristina (Sandra Oh), who was performing the surgery on Henry when he died, is faced with the hard task of breaking the news to her mentor, Teddy. After making the decision to cover Henry’s face, seems like Owen (Kevin McKidd) will be in some serious hot water with Cristina.

The fall finale ends with Meredith and Alex to be lucky after the ambulance they were transporting a newborn in got broadsided by an SUV on a dark, slick road.  But, the other vehicle was not lucky. Teddy’s husband also died during his  latest surgery.

This is also the episode where Lexie must work alongside not just Mark but also his new girlfriend Julia (played by Holley Fain).

The official synopsis for the winter premiere, titled “Suddenly,” reads: “A severe car crash involving an entire family result in an all-hands-on situation in the ER, as the eldest daughter is left to make the toughest decision of her life. Meanwhile Teddy, still in the dark about Henry’s death, calls upon Cristina to help with her patient in the O.R., and Lexie finds herself working alongside Mark’s new girlfriend, Julia, during an eye surgery.” (Source: TVLine)

TVLine reports Dohring will be playing Chronos, the God of Time. He will appear on Supernatural’s 12th episode which is scheduled to air in mid-January.  According to Greek mythology, Chronos is usually depicted as an old man with a beard.

“I can’t really say where it is going to go, nor do I know…They have had plans for them since the beginning, only in the sense that they are a certain intellectual match for one another. I think Dan is unfortunate in that he loves Blair and I think Blair is his soul mate—but he is not Blair’s soul mate, because Blair and Chuck belong with each other, obviously. EP Joshua Safran said, ““We’ve had no one saying to us, ‘Wrap it up. This is the last season.’ So we’re not [treating the season finale] as such.”

The shows 100th episode will center on Blair’s royal wedding to Prince Louis. It is added that there will definitely be more to this story.”I think it’s our biggest episode since the pilot,” says Safran. “I feel like if you’re a fan of the show and you’ve been watching from the beginning, you’re going to feel rewarded. But I also feel like if you’re tuning in after a long time, I think you may feel like you’ve missed a lot, but we really try to hit on everything that’s happened since [early on]. I’m very proud of it.”

100th episode director Mark Piznarski, who also directed the pilot, admitted there were some moments in the episode that “brought tears to my eyes.”

“To see our kids — I do still refer to them as ‘my kids’ — going through something [difficult],  that, as a parent, is a very emotional thing. So this episode is terrific.” (Source: EW)

The episode centers on House’s unorthodox process being put on (metaphorical) trial. Wright plays Foreman’s mentor and the arbitrator of House’s fate.

“David’s presence will change the course of the season,” teased Yaitanes, who steps behind the House cameras for the 30th time with this installment. “We are all fans of his work here at House and excited he is lending his talent to such a significant episode of our series.”

“They have their disagreements [with the new team], obviously,” he says. “They have different clashes and different ways of doing things, but there is also a sort of nurturing — for lack of a better term.”
Aside from that, an interesting interaction between Chase and new doc Adams will take place.

For Chase: After years of slowly growing up and maturing on screen, Spencer says a number of Chase-centric episodes will “test him personally, professionally, and both.” “They’re writing for me a lot in every episode, and I think it’s going to be Chase’s best season,” he says. The invention of the television has had a dramatic effect on the social lives of Americans. Families once gathered around the kitchen table to visit and tell stories. As technology developed, the radio provided the family with entertainment and information. But the television brought exposure to places and things never seen by the American family; the Beatles, Elvis and the moon landing all happened in our living rooms. Now it is common for families to have 3-4 televisions in the home where it was once only for the elite. Many hours of the day are consumed sitting in front of this epidemic panacea.

Many Americans now situate their everyday lives around television. Children are named after televison characters, it is the topic of conversation at work, and people are enthralled with the drama in “reality” television. Television has had so many advances in the last decade, and the huge variety which comes with cable and satellite carriers such as DirecTV, which you can learn more about at http://www.direct.tv, has allowed for myriad and almost unlimited choices of shows and viewing options. People can now pause live television, record it to watch it later at their own leisure, and watch several shows at one time. Though convenient, these luxuries make TV a time sink of American life.

Americans seem to organize their lives around television shows or events, and because others are doing the same, this behavior forms a positive feedback loop, encouraging and invigorating such behavior. How many repetitions of the Super Bowl or the premier of Jersey Shore can people continue to be excited about? Not many. Television can bring people together, inform us of world events, and entertain. However, many seem to forget that life is not a reality show. It does not consist of characters. It consists of people and real relationships, and it should not be limited to just that which occurs during the commercials.

Aside from that, a lot of avoidance is going on. Blair was avoiding her problems by focusing on the Jenny Packham event, and Dan avoided his book problem by focusing on Blair’s problem. Gossip Girl Executive Producer Joshua Safran explained, “When we put it in at the end of last season, we knew. I can’t remember any hesitation. There was discussion about it and what it meant. But we just knew. The discussion was, ‘How will we do this properly?’ not ‘Should we do this or should we not do this?’

Odette Yustman Annable, the new girl on the cell block, says this about her character, “”She’s very intrigued, just like he is, by the puzzle and by the discovery of the whole diagnosis. She’s sort of revived by him because she’s been working in the prison and sort of doing her own thing for months and months,”

It is also rumored that Odette will be a love interest for Chase (Jesse Spencer).
