Materials

1/8 yards(or less) of flower printed fabric
1/4 yards(or less) of single color fabric
1/2 yards of fabric for lining
1/2 yards piece of batting (padding)

Cutting

Measurements include 1/4" wide seam allowance, cut all strips across the width of the fabric(selvage to selvage).

From flower printed fabric

8 squares, 3 1/2" * 3 1/2"

From single color fabric

14 squares, 3 1/2" * 3 1/2"
2 strips, 3" * 18"

Sewing The Project

1.Take 2 squares of single color fabric, right sides together stitch one edge of both leaving 1/4" wide seam allowance. Make 2 of each.(Refer below picture)

2.Take 2 squares of flower printed fabric and 2 squares of single color fabric. Sew together as shown in below picture. Right sides of each fabric must be at one side. Make 2 of each.

3.Take 3 squares of single color fabric and 2 squares of flower printed fabric. Sew together as shown in below. Make 2 of them.

4.Take all blocks and fix them together as shown below. First picture shows blocks without sewing, and second picture shows main block after sewing.

5.Now take batting piece and lining piece, layer the main block with the batting and lining piece and cut them like as main block. Cutted batting piece and lining piece with the main block shown below.

6.Now layer 3 blocks to below order one by one upwords.(Refer below picture)

Wrong side of main block

7.Layer 3 blocks together following above order and Sew Green Colored Edges of both sides referring above picture.

8.Now turn right side of main block and stitch numbered edges to the numbered order.(Refer below picture)
Eg : Stitch green colored 1 and green colored 1 together
Stitch red colored 1 and red colored 1 together.

9.Take one of two strips of single color fabric, stitch two edges of long parallel edges by bending the strip. Turn the strap to the right side. Make two of them.

10.Now join two straps to the bag and you are done.

World of women is full of wonderful things such as wonderful dresses, handbags, hair clips, bangles, pouches, and many many more. While we can buy these things, did you ever think that we can make these by our own? Well, you are busy with your job or with your kids. So, you can't arrange a time to do these things. Right? Wrong. Most of sewing projects takes very little time to finish. We have 24 hours a day. And we need only 1/2 hours to make a fabulous handbag by fabric. Imagine bringing your own made handbag with you to your office. Will they believe that you made the handbag? When they appreciate your work You'll be proud of your-self knowing a wonderful craft. Do you like to face such a situation? If yes, then here's the place to stop by.

So, how many colors exist in this world? Such a difficult question to answer. There are many many colors more than we can think of. And thanks to them our creativity only expands to infinity. So, lets enter to the infinite world of creative stitching. All we need is some fabrics, needles, threads, scissors and some few more things.
