I haven't really been doing much crafting or creating over the past year or so (other than adding to my stash), but now I'm feeling the itch to knit, stitch and create again. I went to the library yesterday and took out a few books. I already started to knit up a version of the pink and red dot blanket on cover of the Debbie Bliss Home book. I'm using navy blue and a variegated purple/blue yarn.

I made this on another crafty Sunday with my friends. It's made out of polymer clay, wire, glitter, yarn and beads. I used a mold for the face. Art-enabling friends are the best!

At least one Sunday a month me and my friends get together for crafty fun. Here's a pic of the cross stitch I worked on at January's day of craftiness. I got the kit for 10 cents. One friend crafted against her will and look at all the pretty cards she made!Then we feasted on salad, spinach alfredo lasagna and bread.

I actually finished a project! It's a festivus miracle! I finished knitting these gloves yesterday. I used the Gorgeous Gloves pattern found in the Elegant Knitter. Somehow, I inadvertently ended up buying all the stuff I needed to complete them. To celebrate I bought more stash: new knitting needles, scrapbooking paper and embroidery floss.I also finished a piece of dark chocolate cheesecake
