Although I agree with his reasoning below, I can’t get behind the new name he picked. There’s gotta be a better name for it out there than “head”.

I’m biased against the voice communication function of my so-called phone because I hate that particular feature. It’s impossible to have a conversation by cellphone if any of the following conditions is true:

  1. An earpiece, headset, or speakerphone is used.
  2. One of you is in an area with bad reception.
  3. One of you has an iPhone.
  4. One of you has a heavy accent.
  5. One of you is insanely boring.
  6. One of you is near anything loud, such as traffic.

That covers just about every call I’m likely to get. I end half of my phone conversations by shouting “I…CAN’T…HEAR…YOU…SEND…ME…AN…EMAIL!!!”

It’s as awesome as they claim it to be. Being able to prioritize incoming emails automatically makes my inbox life so much easier. With the lightning fast Chrome 6 browser, I don’t see a need to keep Outlook open. Buh-bye, Outlook, it’s been a nice 10 or so years, but I just don’t need you anymore.

p.s. Hey Google/Apple, can I get Priority Inbox on my iPhone next please?

Some people call this a game changer, can’t wait to try it out myself. Maybe it’ll finally get me out of Outlook hell? One less application open on my desktop would be a very good thing ™. I’ve tried so many things to get email organized and prioritized over the years, including inbox zero, and nothing has worked for me. As evidenced by the 1301 unread messages I have in my inbox right now. Here’s hoping this is the solution.
