All sectoral indices closed negative with IT, metal, banking, realty and consumer durables the worst among them. Other sectors that closed deeply in the red include auto, capital goods and oil &amp;amp; gas. FMCG was the only sector that closed with moderate losses.The Sensex closed at 16502, down 365 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 4947, down 113 points. The CNX Midcap index closed with 2.4% loss while the&amp;nbsp;BSE Smallcap&amp;nbsp;index lost 1.9% in today's trade. The market breadth was negative with advances at 296 against declines of 1158 on the NSE. The broader markets have turned weak, too. Sensex is trading at 16962, down 203 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 5083, down 69 points. CNX Midcap index is down 0.8% and&amp;nbsp;BSE Smallcap&amp;nbsp;index is down 0.4%.
