See-saw movement was there in the market today. After gaining for two consecutive trading sessions, the market closed lower on Friday. The sensex & nifty dropped in the morning trade on Friday on profit-booking by participants as the August derivatives series began on a negative note. The Sensex ended with a gain of 184 points at 28209. The Sensex opened at 28109 touched an intra-day high of 28240 and low of 28065. The Nifty closed with a gain of 51 points at 8666. The Nifty opened at 8637 hitting a high of 8674 and low of 8625.

Profit booking was seen after the recent rally in the markets was on hopes of the passage of the crucial GST Bill. Markets are likely to trend sideways till the GST Bill is cleared. Key resistance at 8700 will strengthen the bullish momentum. In that case, the contract can rally to the 8730 and 8750 band. But the inability to move beyond 8625 will keep the index under selling pressure. A decisive fall below 8600 can pull the contract down to 8580 and then to 8550 levels. The next key supports are at 8530 and 8500 levels.

GOLD TICKS DOWN AS MIXED JOBS REPORT YIELDS FEW CLUES ON SEPT RATE HIKE

Gold fell mildly last week amid a relatively flat dollar, as a mixed U.S. jobs report for the month of August provided few signals on the likelihood of a September rate hike by the Federal Reserve. The data did little to alter expectations for a
rate hike at the Federal Reserve's next meeting due to take place September 16-17. Gold for December delivery on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped $3.10, or 0.28%, to end Friday's session at $1,121.40 a troy ounce after falling to an intra day low of $1,115.70, the weakest level since August 18. U.S. markets will be closed on Monday for the Labor Day holiday. For the week, prices of the precious metal dropped $10.50, or 1.1%, the second straight weekly loss.

COPPER FUTURES RISE TO 2-WEEK HIGH AS SENTIMENT REBOUNDS

Copper futures extended gains from the prior session to hit a Two- week high last week, as a sharp rebound on Wall Street overnight helped soothe investors' tattered nerves but again fell down on Friday. Copper prices have been under heavy selling pressure in recent weeks as fears of a China-led global economic slowdown spooked traders and rattled sentiment.

Copper for December delivery sank 7.2 cents, or 3.04%, on Friday to settle at $2.312 a pound as fears of a China-led global economic slowdown spooked traders and rattled sentiment. For the week, copper prices lost 1.7 cents, or 1.11%, as investors continued to fret

Crude futures inched down last week after hitting 5 weeks high amid a relatively flat dollar, as U.S. oil rigs fell for the first time in six weeks, marking its largest weekly decline since the start of the summer. Crude oil prices have been under heavy selling pressure in recent months, as ongoing concerns over a glut in world markets drove down prices. Despite Friday's losses, New York-traded oil futures rose $1.05, or 1.84%, on the week, amid indications U.S. oil drillers are cutting back on production following a collapse in prices over the summer

INVENTORY
Crude oil futures added to losses on Wednesday, after data showed that oil supplies in the U.S. rose more than expected last week, underlining concerns over weak demand. Crude oil inventories rose by 4.7 million barrels in the week ended August 28.

Strong Asian market , the Nikkei up 2.7 %

Today Asian markets have seen a strong start and the Asian indices are seen in green .SGX Nifty gained 1.73 percent after a gain of 140 points,trades at 8,135.Japan 's Nikkei trading at 19 088 , with 2.69 per cent of the Singapore 's Straits Times rose 1.56 percent remains at 2992 . Hang Seng is 0.67 per cent and is at 21 985

Taiwan market gain of 2.30 percent and trading at 8009 Kospi is up 1.38 percent and remains at 1,934 The Shanghai Composite is showing growth of around 2 per cent and is trading at 3,145 .

Crude oil boom , Brant crude beyond $ 47

Crude has gained 10 per cent .On Nymex and Brent price of $ 42 has gone beyond $ 47 .

After a gain of 0.56 per cent to gold is trading at $ 1,129 per ounce.

Gold has again began to shine .The international market price of gold has reached the upper level of the previous 5 weeks . Comaks price of gold has gone beyond $ 1160 . About 8 per cent in the month, gold has rallied .
MCX gold in the domestic market rose by 1.35 per cent to Rs 27205 Asapas looks . 1 percent higher while silver is trading around Rs 36 705 .

In the international market price of crude has slipped nearly 1 percent . Brent crude fell to $ 46 is . The dollar soared Mukabale rupee . Across a price of $ 65.75 is gone . The rupee has fallen to the lowest level in 2 years .

MCX crude oil in the domestic marketplace with 1.35 percent decline in 2717 would appear to be around Rs . While natural gas is trading around 0.40 per cent to Rs 180 .
