MODERN VERSION

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.
CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, CNN, and MSNBC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green...'

Occupy the Anthill stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the SEIU group singing, We shall overcome.
Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper's sake, while he damns the ants.

President Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush 43, President Bush 41, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Piers Morgan that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Be careful how you vote in 2012. Stop Marxism!

Barry Soetoro was getting high and hanging around self-described Communists while Allen West was getting up at 5 in the am and doing calisthenics.

Senior editorial writer of the Sun-Sentinel, Doug Lyons, says that black Rep. Allen West doesn't represent black Americans because he doesn't support the Marxist -Socialist line as promulgated by the self-appointed black leadership.

Doug says that the West message doesn't resonate in the black community because it doesn't address their needs. What are their needs, more welfare, more government, more affirmative action programs, more handouts? Well, have their needs been met by the present day liberal Democrat policies that they have been embracing for the past 70 years? With a black community that has a 16% unemployment rate, an unwed birth rate of 70%, and a close to 40% school dropout rate, is that the model that should be embraced by the black community?

Maybe the views and policies of Rep. West is what the black community should be clamoring for instead of the "plantation" type policies of the Democrats.

I think Doug Lyons should re-think his failed philosophy and latch onto the Rep. Allen West bandwagon.

OBAMA'S CITIZENSHIP CASE REACHES THE SUPREME COURT

In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group "Americans for Freedom of Information" has released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College.

Released today, the transcript school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.

This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking. Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as President article titled, "Obama Eligibility Questioned," leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official visit to the U.K.

In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as president. Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama's campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000.00 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing, but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. Attorney general, Eric Holder.

Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

Subject: Issue of Passport?

While I've little interest in getting in the middle of the Obama birth issue, Paul Hollrah over at FSM did so yesterday and believes the issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question: What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi ?

So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later? And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi, what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration? The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama's citizenship a rather short and simple one.

Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A: Yes, by his own admission.
Q: What passport did he travel under?
A: There are only three possibilities.
1) He traveled with a U.S. ... Passport,
2) He traveled with a British passport, or
3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.
Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. . State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.

Conclusion: When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport.

If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof that he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims.. And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove that he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a "natural born" American citizen between 1981 and 2008.
Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated
by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.

If you Don't care that This President is in Violation of the Constitution, then lower your American Flag to half-staff, because the U.S. Constitution is already on life-support! Donald Trump Blast Rick Santorum For Wrong Reason

Donald Trump is telling America that Santorum is not fit to be President because he lost an election in 2006. Let me preface by saying some of my most favorite People in the World live in Pennsylvania. With that being said I do not think that the State of Pennsylvania has the authority to tell the Country who can or can't be President.

Does Trump know the “Bitter Clinger” truth? No, because Trump was not a real Conservative before 2008 and he was for Obama. Obama trashed the Pennsylvania people. Soetoro called them Bitter People and said they were clinging to their Guns and religion. All the while Obama was surrounded by ultra-Wealthy people in San Francisco who supported him. The majority of the People in Pennsylvania still supported Obama. So set aside the great Conservatives in Pennsylvania and you have some Politically Correct Sheeple. Real Conservatives knew before the election what Barry and his wannabe Queen Wife planning for America. Their plan was and is to transform and destroy the Middle Class ala Karl Marx.

I remember a MSM network at the beginning of the Soetoro Regime and the point was brought up about Barry's limited employment record (What employment record, the Marxist was part of ACORN). Someone then asked Trump if he would hire Obama. Trump would not say at first and then he turned yellow and said yes. What the heck Trump! Many of us knew Soetoro was incompetent and out to destroy White America. Yet Trump folded like a cheap puff daddy suit.

I will give Trump credit that he finally smelled the espresso and realized how bad a President and Person that Barry is. However Trump's reasoning not to elect someone who lost a State Election when the MAJORITY (not all) of those People were proven to be Politically Correct Sheep is ridiculous. I am not pitting Romney against Santorum however Romney lost a national election. So using Trump's methodology Romney should go into another business. I would not use that methodology as one of the greatest Ronald Reagan lost a few elections before winning.

One more point is that I would listen to a Real Conservative, Michelle Malkin, before I listen to Trump on the Politics Subject. The smart and beautiful Michelle Malkin has endorsed Rick Santorum. The Great One, Mark Levin has stated that if the election were held today that he vote for Rick Santorum. This post is not to tell anyone to vote Sanatorium over Newt or Mitt. This post is to explain that Sanatorium should not be judged by a group that is mainly made up of self-loathing Politically Correct White People. How else can you explain people supporting Barry, they must be self-loathing or Marxists.

I have stood up for Trump after he realized Soetoro was wrong for America. Many of us heard trump being called a Racist for is legitimate questioning of Barry Hussein Obama's birthplace. Hussein's own Grandmother and wannabe Queen Wife stated that Kenya was Barry's birthplace. I won't say that Trump's attack on Santorum is racist yet we know many of Trump's buddies are not too keen on a having a President with the Italian heritage. We will not delve into that today as I feel Trump is just wrong on his reasoning in this case.

Donald Trump should just stay in the Business World and admit Mitt Romney; Newt Gingrich OR Rick Santorum would be a much better President than the current Regime Leader. Let us sum it by saying Stop Political Correctness and Stop Marxism!

•A gallon of regular gas was $1.79 on average when Obama took his oath of office. Now, the USA TODAY price is averaged at $3.59 a gallon---over 100% increase!

•Our national debt is up 34.4% from 10,627 trillion to 14,278 trillion dollars!

•Long-term unemployment went from 2,600,000 to 6,400,000 - a 146.2% jump since Obama came into office!

•Unemployed blacks have gone from 12.6% to 15.8% - up over 25%!
How are the above facts coinciding with real "change?" Can we afford another four years of Barack Hussein Obama?

Regarding: The House Oversight Committee with Attorney General Eric Holder and Fast and Furious Killings.

Attorney General Eric Holder's FOUR HOURS of testimony revealed not too much new information or admittance to guilt on Fast and Furious!

It was four hours of wasted time! Almost.....

Eric Holder (covering for his boss, Barack Obama) continued to continue the conspiracy for Fast and Furious.

Eric Holder did admit: "I did not become aware of any 'gun-walking' until the beginning of 2011!" LIES!

Holder did acknowledge that he was aware of Agent Brian Terry's death within 24 hours that it happened on December 15, 2010. HOWEVER, in his sworn testimony before Congress earlier, he did not know of Fast and Furious until weeks before the Spring of 2010!

But even today, he did not equate the murder/killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry to Fast and Furious---"that I only had knowledge of much later in 2010!"

If someone that we were over, and they were murdered, I would want to get to the very bottom of that killing right away! But, Eric Holder, obviously, did not!

Instead, Holder today boasted of his minion Todd Jones who has supposedly instituted a number of reforms!

Quite frankly, if THE MURDER OF THE ATF AGENT were not brought to the attention of Eric Holder, quite possibly this injustice would still be going on!

Yet Eric Holder still bucked the obvious: "There is NO attempt at a cover-up!"

Tell that to the family of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry!' Holder is guilty and must RESIGN!

Holder MUST be removed from the nation's highest law enforcement office IMMEDIATELY! Will you Contact your Congressman?

Holder's testimony today revealed that Holder did NOT equate the murder of Agent Terry to Fast and Furious---that he supposedly did not even know about. He considered it just another murder of a border patrol agent.

This is beyond belief. Yes, within 24 hours of Agent Terry's death, the Attorney General was notified! Will we ever find out when Barack Obama was notified? News media need to be asking those questions!

If someone under me ON MY WATCH was murdered---by golly I would move heaven and hell to find out what happened to this true patriot under my watch!!

However, while Eric Holder LIED to congressional investigators under oath; he said words to the contrary, indicating he "found out" sometime in the spring of 2011. Yet these brand new documents released say that on December 15th, 2010, he was alerted to the murder of Agent Brian Terry!

That means he even lied to the grieving family of Agent Brian Terry!

Dear Editor:

I see from your editorial that you think the platitudes that Obama expressed in his State of the Union speech was something that Costa Rica should emulate, but I guess you didn't read his previous State of the Union speeches? Much of what he said wasn't new , it was recycled, tired old policies he didn't follow through on before. He is a president who will not follow through on his high sounding proposals.

Remember, this is the same guy that voted 130 times "present" as a State Senator in Illinois. He will say anything and do anything that might get a vote from a special interest group, just to get re-elected. Many politicians do that, but Obama is particularly adept at saying something, but doing nothing.

Being of a Marxist / Socialist mindset, he thinks that the driving force to prosperity is the government not the free enterprise system. That's why our economy is still stagnant instead of roaring back from a deep recession. It looks like it will have to take a change in leadership for us to finally rebound, and then Costa Rica and the other democratic countries of Latin America, will come along for the ride to prosperity.

Remember, Obama is a narcissist in an empty Armani suit. Don't be fooled by his "silver tongue", because he is actually sticking it out to all of us. You can't polish horse manure.

I've been pissed off ever since Obama called his grandmother a "typical white" person as he threw her under the bus. What does that mean, "typical white"? Can you imagine ANYone saying "typical black person"? I've never heard anything like it in my life.

So I was pissed off to begin with, and then I read the New York Times this morning: Rural Swath of Big State Tests Obama .... Many voters talk of reading a stream of false and shadowy rumors purveyed by e-mail: Mr. Obama does not put his hand on his heart during the national anthem, he is a Muslim, he did not say hello to enlisted men in Afghanistan. Some disregard these rumors; some do not.

"False and shadowy RUMORS" ???

See also a "false and shadowy" rumor in the form of an ASSOCIATED PRESS photo, documentating Barry Soetoro's / Barack Obama's Indonesian citizenship and Muslim religion (as of 1968) at Texas Darlin. [English translation here.]

What's "shadowy" is that the AP never published the photo. And what's "false" is the New York Times. The Enemedia is delegitimizing and demonizing The Truth right in front of our eyes. It's unbelievable.

Of all the despicable acts perpetrated by Obama, I find none more disgusting than when he blasphemes the courage and patriotism of our servicemen and women by his pretentious impersonations as a decisive Commander-in-Chief. When he takes personal credit for military actions in which his only articipation was to serve as the final rubber stamp for the formulation and implementation of those actions, I want to throw up. It is truly, disgusting.

Whenever he attempts to don the mantle of military commander, he is at his most transparent, most hypocritical and most despicable self. He is a pariah without equal. He is the epitome of cowardice and deceit. We’ve never seen his like as a certifiable traitor that has acceded to the highest office in the land.

Obama represents a terminal cancer that is feasting on the vitals in the body of the United States of America. He must be cut out and totally destroyed if we are to survive as a nation. The November presidential election is our last and only opportunity to save our nation. It is our last chance to preclude Obama from holding the door wide open and inviting in, an onslaught of Islamist hordes led by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Does any sane person who is only slightly informed about the threat we face, have any doubts that a second term for Obama would sound the death knell for our America?

If we fail to vote this pariah and his legion of enablers out of office – and out of any potential for control over the future of our nation and our freedoms, we shall most assuredly be committing national suicide. It is quite as simple as that.

A picture of two men in their 20's tells quite a story. Barry Soweto (Barack Obama's name at the time until he changed it) and Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel (Bibi is his nickname) met last week in Washington. Bibi's brother was killed in the famous raid on Entebe to rescue Israelis. He was a soldier protecting Israel's right to exist, a nation surrounded by enemies who publicly want to wipe them off the map.

Barry was hanging out with far left Marxists, progressives and socialists who were very supportive of the groups who wanted to destroy Israel (don't believe me, read about it in Obama's own book "Dreams from my Father") and following the "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky. Many of his old lefty friends support Hamas today and organize illegal floatillas to help them....that is all you really need to know, I suppose. But the famous Obama "cool" and the fawning main stream media do a good job of putting the veil over this past.

The Los Angeles Times has long refused to release the infamous videotape in its possession of a farewell dinner, attended by Obama, for scholar and Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi. Obama spoke warmly of his deep friendship for Khalidi at that event. Unfortunately, the continuing mystery of that video tape has obscured the rather remarkable article that the LA Times did publish about the dinner — and about Obama’s broader views on the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

The extraordinary thing about the LA SLIMES article “Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Obama” is that in it, that any claim Obama makes to be pro-Israel is for pure political purposes.

Even his friends said he was hiding many of his true views from the public to gain political office and power. Having observed his personal associations, his open political alliances, his public statements, and his private remarks, Obama’s Palestinian allies steadfastly maintain that Obama’s private views are clearly much more pro-Palestinian than he would ever let on until he is reelected in 2012.

In addition, Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s intensely anti-Israel views were something Obama listened to for twenty years in his church....and when Obama ran for office, he said he never ever heard any of those rantings. The good Reverend Wright was called Obama's "spiritual advisor" who he said brought him to Christ. Hard to believe.

Netanyahu and Obama - allies? Considering their pasts, how could they possibly be on the same page?

On a side note, NHL Goalie Tim Thomas refused to go to the White House because of Obama and BHO's attack on our Freedom. After watching Pres. Obama give his "State of the Union" speech, the phrase "cognitive dissonance" came to mind. Succinctly, that is when someone knows something that is true, but believes (or tells you that he believes) something else. Can you imagine that Pres. Obama had the nerve to say that we are better off today than we were just 3 short years ago? Doesn't he watch the news? Most everything that should be up, is down, and most everything that should be down is up.

We have approx. 14 million unemployed, the real unemployment rate is 14%; gas prices have gone up to $3.50 per gallon from $1.85 when he took office; the federal debt is now over $15 trillion when it was $9.8 trillion when he was sworn in; the "Misery Index" was 7.8 in Jan. 2009 and it is now 11.9; in 2009, we had 32 million people on food stamps, now it is 46 million; and we have approx. 48 million families at or below the poverty line. If that isn't "cognitive dissonance", than the Pope isn't Catholic. Should that kind of pitiful performance deserve 4 more years? I think not.

f. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.

g. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

Downsizing - Fire Soetoro and ALL DEMOCRATS

When a company falls on difficult times, one of the things that seems to happen is they reduce their staff and workers. The remaining workers must find ways to continue to do a good job or risk that their job would be eliminated as well.

Wall street and the media normally congratulate the CEO for making this type of "tough decision", and the board of directors gives upper corporate management big bonuses...

Our government should not be immune from similar risks.

Therefore:

Reduce the House of Representatives from the current 435 members to 218 members.
Reduce Senate members from 100 to 50 (one per State). Then, reduce their remaining staff by 25%.

Accomplish this over the next 8 years (two steps/two elections) and of course this would require some redistricting.

Some Yearly Monetary Gains Include:

$44,108,400 for elimination of base pay for congress. (267 members X $165,200 pay/member/ yr.)

$437,100,000 for elimination of their staff. (Estimate $1.3 Million in staff per each member of the House, and $3 Million in staff per each member of the Senate every year)

$108,350,000 for the reduction in remaining staff by 25%.

$7,500,000,000reduction in pork barrel earmarks each year. (Those members whose jobs are gone.. Current estimates for total government pork earmarks are at $15 Billion/yr).

The remaining representatives would need to work smarter and improve efficiencies.. It might even be in their best interests to work together for the good of our country!

We may also expect that smaller committees might lead to a more efficient resolution of issues as well. It might even be easier to keep track of what your representative is doing.

Congress has more tools available to do their jobs than it had back in 1911 when the current number of representatives was established. (Telephone, computers, cell phones to name a few)

Note:
Congress does not hesitate to head home for extended weekends, holidays and recesses, when what the nation needs is a real fix for economic problems. Also, we had *3 senators who were not doing their jobs for the 18+ months (on the campaign trail) and still they all accepted full pay. Minnesota survived very well with only one senator for the first half of this year. These facts alone support a reduction in senators and congress.

Summary of opportunity:

$44,108,400 reduction of congress members.

$282,100,000 for elimination of the reduced house member staff.

$150,000,000 for elimination of reduced senate member staff.

$70,850,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining house members.

$37,500,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining senate members.

$7,500,000,000 reduction in pork added to bills by the reduction of congress members.

$8,084,558,400 per year, estimated total savings. (That's 8-BILLION just to start!)

Corporate America does these types of cuts all the time.
There's even a name for it.

"Downsizing."

Also, if Congress persons were required to serve 20, 25 or 30 years (like everyone else) in order to collect retirement benefits, taxpayers could save a bundle.

And third, the Tuscon shooting had nothing to do with the Tea Party or conservatives. It was a depraved act carried out by one very sick individual.

Over the past several years I’ve subscribed to Facebook and unsubscribed several times. Subscribed when it seemed the sporting thing to do, to be among the ‘cognoscente’. Unsubscribed each time I realized anew, that this Social Site represents a way of life. It is an all-consuming, full-time, 24/7 occupation. I don’t need that; I don’t want that.

And so, while it will doubtless spread a pall of deep-dark gloom over a majority of the nation’s computer-literate population including my vast legion of friends, debtors and admirers – I will not respond to ‘notifications’, ‘messages from friends’, pals who have ‘tagged photos’ of me – or any of the other irresistible enticements calculated to elicit my response.

My phone (561-374-9330) is still connected and I rarely let it ring more than three times before answering. And as of this writing, the USPS continues to make sporadic deliveries to my mail box.

I am truly interested in hearing from my pals who want to communicate. That said however, I must tell you that I get most of my physical exercise these days, from deleting someone else’s idea of ‘what’s funny’, ‘what’s interesting’ or whatever they’ve been told to pass-on ‘under penalty of dire consequences if they don’t’. And I have determined to my satisfaction, that by eliminating this one particular demand for my attention, I will free up something on the order of 8-16 minutes in each 24-hr period. ALAN COLMES: That snake on FOX

For several years, I watched ‘Hannity & Colmes’ on FOX News and experienced a lot of itching and scratching as a result of exposure to Alan Colmes and his leftist lunacy. When the powers that be finally removed him in favor of Hannity doing a solo number, I was enormously relieved.

So, imagine my consternation and irritation at seeing his leering countenance appear once again on my TV screen; this time as a FOX contributor. It is my strongly-held conviction that Alan Colmes should not be afforded the enjoyment of a forum on FOX that in any way, contributes to the legitimization of his warped viewpoints.

I would encourage the moguls at FOX to selectively expose this man’s arrogance, his illogical leftist bias and his innate nastiness by airing brief video clips that reveal the monstrously evil of the man. The most recent example of his ugliness manifested itself when he made crude references regarding how Sen. Rick Santorum and Mrs. Santorum handled the death of their new-born Son. It was utterly uncalled for and pointedly hurtful to the Santorums. If for no other foul act than this example, he should be run through the corporate shredder before being summarily terminated.

Colmes is a hate-filled, unrepentant hard-left Liberal that is committed to spewing his vitriol whenever he is given the opportunity, against Americans who espouse conservative values. Any attempt to provide him with fair & balanced coverage is a joke – a cruel joke. He should be dealt with as the dangerous viper he is. He is truly, the snake on FOX.
