Lego Spy Stop Motion Movie Trailer

Very happy to have the chance this time to work with the Spy movie company for the new movie trailer, they need this trailer to fully transform into LEGO style, this video took me 20 days in production and around 2000 pictures, please check the video as below:

Below are some behind the scenes pictures.

First of all finding suitable lego figures for the movie characters, this is my lego figure collection

Digimon Stop Motion - Omegamon VS Imperialdramon

Hello everyone, just finished another commercial stop motion video, I worked this video with Bandai America for the promotion purpose of "Digimon All Star Rumble" video game, this video took around 20 days of production and nearly 2500 pictures, check out the video as below:

There are 4 toys in this video, two for the first mode and two for the second mode, I find someone to make the battle field for this video.

For some flying object in the air, I use tools or my own hand to hold them in the air and then erase them through photoshop or another way is green screen.

Avengers Ironman VS Ironman Stop motion

Hello everyone, this is a commercial video I work for MSI brand for the promotion of their new motherboard few month ago, this time I use SHF red Ironman VS black Ironman, the result seems good, please check the video as below:

Below are the behind the scenes pictures, first we have the two main characters

Some skills of this video, I use after effects for the effects and also color grading raising the contrast

of the entire video.

As for the flying objects, sometimes I use tools and sometimes I use my hand to hold the object, then erase them on photoshop or paintshophoto.

Figma Saber and Revoltech Al VS Guildwar2 monster stop motion

Hello guys, this is my new video, was demanded from a commercial company in China, they want me to make a stop motion video with a online game character and the game is Guildwar2, the good guys I choose from Fate Saber, Al and Gundam, please check the video as below :

This is just a short video, around 1 minute and half, the filming time is around 20 days,

the main time consuming task is the modification of toys, the bad guys is too big and heavy, really need to do a lot of work to make it suitable to film in stop motion.

Build joints in it to make hand movable.

with good articulation and easy to transform, price around USD$50 in Taiwan local market.

The technics of this video is actually pretty easy, and effects are all the basic standard effects

that After effects have, but also the most time consuming is the adjustment of these lazers,

one or two lazers are fast, but 6-10 lazers takes a lot and a lot of time.

One Piece VS Dragon Ball Stop motion

Hello everyone, this is my new video using toys of One Piece from Mcdonalds VS Cell from DBZ, this entire video took me around 15 days of production time and nearly 3000 pictures.

Some simple modification, I took off the head and use clay to make it able to turn

while I film it.

A plastic piece under the feet to make dolls able to stand well

Some flying scenes during the battle, hold the item with my hand and then PS.

I applied color correction and contrast to the video, below is the original one

And after color grading and size adjustment

The articulation is excelent, and the paint is also very detail with high quality.

Lego Stop motion - Lone Ranger VS Pirates of the Caribbean

This is a new video I made to match the upcoming movie of Johnny Depp, The Lone Ranger,
I always love to collect Lego toys, and this time I decide to make a stop motion video of Johnny Depp VS Johnny Depp, the pirates VS lone ranger, please check the video as below :

First the battle field, was made under my wooden bed

One of the things that I like lego is because they are small, so I can build easily the battle stage without too much work and material.

The rocks in the background was only Styrofoam with grey paint

I use sometimes white paper as smoke

The battle of multi characters is always complicated and time consuming, you need to calculate every foot stand location of the lego man.

Some of the flying scenes I use green screen technic

I use clay to locate the angle of flying objects, then use green screen to make the flying thing

Dragon Ball Episode 2 - Cell's Return

Hello Guys, its been 2 month ago since my last video of Dragon ball episode 1, and now here it is,
episode 2, Cell as the boss and Goku, Vegeta to save the day, this video I specially focus on fighting skills and air combat, well, please check the video first as below :

This video in the animation part took me 53 days and sound effects application took me 6 days, in total I spend 59 days to make this video and with more than 6000 pictures.

In the below, I will show some pictures and behind the scenes skill for you to study.

The action figures from SHF, Goku, Vegeta, Cell, Trunks and Piccolo,

these dudes cost me around USD$350 in total.

The battle field in also in the middle of my room, I made the course indication before start to film the video, this helps me greatly how to arrange the movements and calculation of the distance.

Tools that I use in this video, they are simple tools but very useful

Modification to the dolls, original dolls are very fragile, so I need to strong their joints

The dolls of this series are very detail and beautiful, but only Goku's face are a little bit too angry,

so I made some paint modification to make him look better.

The doll itself comes with several changeable facial expressions.

Some cuts where toys are hold with tools, then I use photoshop to erase them

Green screening, in this case for Green Piccolo, its called blue screening
