Start with small things

Hand towels, soap holders, towels, carpets and such which are easy to clean must be taken care of first. Carpets can be cleaned separately, using bleach on these and hand towels are recommended by professional sanitizing services. When you are drying these, take time to spread them out on a cloth rack or a line where the air can dry them freely. If you can them on hooks then the folds form and it becomes a nest for mold to form. While these are drying then take a Kleenex or some Clorox and take care of the towel holder.

Go for the drains next

Drains take some time to be cleaned properly so you need to start on them in the beginning and leave them to clean themselves. If you do not want any chemicals down the drain lest it start working on your pipes as well (and then having a plumbing issue in the bathroom is not something that is needed, ever) so go for an organic solution and baking soda and white vinegar. The ratio is using one cup of baking soda and one cup of white vinegar. Vinegar should follow after pouring the cup of baking soda down the drain, check this mouse control. This should be poured on and then left alone for around an hour in order for the solution to work its magic on the drains. Do this for the sink, shower and other drains in the bathroom (you can use this on the commode too).

Cleaning off the taps and other metallic items

All the areas that hand usually touch, taps, shelf handles and other items that are used daily (don’t forget the hand soap handle) must be cleaned thoroughly with Clorox wipes or other disinfecting wipes, as recommended by professional sanitizing services. Clothes are not to be used as they collect bacteria and other germs while cleaning.

Baking soda and vinegar are the best for cleaning drains while using baking soda on the commode, sink and other areas to make them spotlessly clean is recommended.
