Packing Tips

Pack as much as you can in the same size boxes.
Fill boxes tightly, but take care to neither overpack nor underpack. (Bulging cartons tip when stacked, while half full boxes tend to collapse). Use wadded up newsprint, bubblewrap, rags, towels, or blankets to fill in empty spaces. For maximum protection seal cartons with tape.

Here are some simple storage tips to help you keep your unit neat and organized!

Store items you’ll need most often at the front of the unit.
When you pack your storage unit, create a center aisle for access to all items.
Do not place boxes directly on concrete floors, but use pallets or skids to allow air flow around and under items.
Use trash cans to store shovels, hoes and rakes.

When you pack your storage unit be sure to leave a small walkway between your boxes and furniture. Leaving a walkway will allow you to easily access the items that you may need to get to. Also when stacking boxes; remember to stack large boxes on the bottom and smaller boxes on the larger ones. This will keep your boxes from collapsing and will make for an organized unit.
