Laughing Buddha

PUBLIC MABON RITUAL MONTREAL
This is an announcement for the public Mabon ritual that will be held this Saturday, September 19th, at Angrinon Park at noon.

Come celebrate with us this harvest festival. We will be re-enacting the death of the god, as the sacrifice for the harvest.

As this is a public ritual, feel free to invite friends and family members if you wish. If you have never been to a ritual before, this should be a good first experience!

Try to bring your drums and rattles if you have any and of course some feast food you wish to share.

We will be meeting at the entrance to Angrinon Metro (Ville LaSalle) at noon and together will migrate to the ritual site. The ritual may take 40 minutes, and the feast will be held immediately after.

This ritual will be held whether rain or shine! Come and enjoy nature in all her forms.

COVENS VS. SOLITARIEES (Scarlet)
What is a coven? What does it mean to be a solitary practitioner? How can I practice my path solitarily? How to I find a coven? In this discussion, we will look at the pros and cons of coven and solitary practice and field questions anyone has on these issues. We will also consider how to evaluate if a group is for you and safety concerns that you should always keep in mind.

Exploring what mediumship is and what it is not. We will attempt to contact those who have crossed over so you may bring a photo or an object of the person or pet if you wish. There will be a guided meditation, discussion and messages from spirit with Catharine.

INTRODUCTION TO THE CHAKRAS (Scarlet)
Chakra balancing is an incredible experience for the body and spirit. In this workshop, learn about the basics and correspondences for the seven chakras. Learn what scents, foods, stones can be used in chakra meditations. Discover the areas of focus and the challenges you face with each chakra. The chakra carries a related energy that connects to our daily lives. Some meditation techniques will be discussed at the end of the workshop.

REIKI I (Robyn)
Join us in this intensive course to learn all you need to know to become a First Degree Reiki Practitioner. Topics covered will include: the history and origins of Reiki, the ethics of being a Reiki practitioner, what the hand positions are in a full Reiki session, how to treat others as well as yourself, and formal initiation to the Usui Shiki Ryoho style of Reiki. Time will be given for practice as well.

Come one and come all to the CMS Open house evening. See what the students from three levels of study have been working on all Spring & Summer! Meet the teachers and discover what is expected for the coming session. This is the best opportunity to register for the September Level 1 class. Please note that the CMS Level 1 class take no more than 5 students so as to provide each student with personalized attention and guidance.

We have a new tea called Baroness Grey. It is like an Earl Grey tea with more floral hints and a slight ghosting of fruit.

New from our Witchcraft Essentials!
These are in production and trial.

We have made our own floor washes! They are colored and mildly scented for 10 different blends (Attraction, Dragon's Blood, Fast Luck, Go Away Evil, High John, Jinx removing, Money Drawing, 7 African Powers, Uncrossing, and Van Van). Despite what the test labels might indicate, we recommend you use only a capful or two in your bucket of hot water for mopping your floors.

We have brewed hand wash! This is a high quality hand soap that is colored and scented for 5 different blends (Dragon's Blood, Love & Attraction, Luck & Money, Protection, and Spiritual Cleansing). This is almost a travel-sized bottle great for you backpack or purse.
