It is hard to believe that December is upon us! I just wanted to share this one photograph from a session yesterday, the first day of December. The image inspires me to look past the busy-ness of the season and to remember to experience it with the joy and wonderment and excitement of a small child. My yoga instructor shared a statistic today that the average child laughs 200 times a day and by the time we are adults the average is a meager 7 times per day. Here’s to remembering to laugh and enjoy. We are so fortunate…

Remember the beautiful newborn twins from a few days ago?  Here are some additional shots of all of the grandkids together… I love the interactions between them and each of their unique personalities. It is such a treat to have cousins you are close with and can grow up together with!

I love fall, especially the indian summer kind where the days are warm and sunny and the color pallate is equally as warm and beautiful. This was a combination shoot of Robyn’s senior portraits and some great mother daughter shots.

Clayton and Ellie: These sweet, sweet twins were 10 days old when we did their shoot! It is always such a treat to see them so soon after birth and just reminds us what a blessing and miracle it is! Three year old Miller couldn’t have been more loving with the little ones. Congratulations to you all!!

On a quintessential Colorado fall day, Katie and Darron vowed their love with a small intimate gathering of friends and family. The Ski Tip Lodge, at Keystone, is an amazing venue full of character and topped off with excellent service and food. Petal and Bean provided, as always, a stunning bouquet and arrangements for the reception and the party was kept lively with the music spun by Frederick of Maestro Music Productions.  Congratulations, Katie and Darron and thank you for letting me be part of your beautiful day!

At the sweet tender age of 5 days old, Charlie was sweet and content as could be. I have to compliment the rest of the family too- because they all seemed to have it together as though he had been there for weeks. The house was spotless, they were relaxed and Jack was so sweet with his new little brother. Congrats to you all!!

Beaver Creek is amazing in the winter, but in the summer, it transforms to a completely different and equally as amazing destination… This wedding, at the intimate venue Ally’s Cabin, high on the mountain is beautiful, luxurious is a beautiful spot to share a Colorado sunset. I especially love the ceremony site on the deck, which has a backdrop of quaking aspen and mountain views. This is the perfect venue for mountain weddings of 75 or fewer guests.

This wedding was shot in conjunction with Melissa Beck Photography, which is always such a treat. I truly love working with colleagues in the industry and continually pushing one another to grow and refine our craft.

I love the relaxed, natural energy these two share.  The setting and the lighting was a perfect compliment to this great couple. Their engagement session took place in Evergreen, not far from where Darron proposed to Katie.  I am so excited for their Keystone wedding at the end of the month!!
