Everyone in the town of Remarkable, is... remarkable. Except for Jane Doe. Ten-year-old Jane is woefully UN-remarkable. In fact, she is the only child in town who does not attend the school for gifted children. With genius parents and prodigy siblings, poor Jane feels helplessly ordinary. But things begin to change for Jane when the naughty Grimlet twins enroll in Jane's school. And then, a famous composer goes missing and mysterious pirates come to town. Jane begins to get to the bottom of all the strangeness going on in her town, and in the process, she discovers that she has some rather remarkable talents of her own.

Getting Over Garrett Delaney

Sadie has worshipped Garrett Delaney for two very long years, and her love has remained unrequited. When he heads off to the summer lit camp that she is not accepted to, she still remains hopeful, until he calls to tell her he has fallen in love with a girl at camp. Their only hope now is to locate and destroy the evil serpent's shadow. That is, if they can survive attacks from enemy magicians and Apophis' monstrous minions.

Carter Finally Gets It

Fourteen-year-old Will Carter is on the verge of high school and--he's positive about this--greatness. Except that he isn't. Because high school is A LOT harder than he thought it would be. And it has nothing to do with academics. Carter's ADD makes it really hard to concentrate, especially with all of those hot girls everywhere. He can't seem to stay focused in class or on the football field, but when it comes to trying to lose his virginity, his focus is laser-sharp. During his freshman year he will face an angry mob of drill teamers, suffer through humiliating try-outs, run from infuriated law enforcement officers, and commit social suicide. He may even learn a thing or two along the way.

Zero

Amanda, nicknamed "Zero," is in a strange holding pattern during the summer between high school and college. She was absolutely thrilled when she was accepted to the prestigious art school in Chicago that she was dying to get into, but equally devastated when her scholarship didn't come through. She is living with her parents who fight constantly, struggling with where to go and what to do next, and reeling from a split with her best friend. When she meets Mike, a whole lot of things change. She enrolls in a community college art class and starts painting again, her relationships start looking up and she begins to see a future for herself where she is definitely not a zero.
