Back Surgery Update - MRI Online indicating "impingement on nerve roots" in several places.

I managed to get a copy of the text portion of my MRI so I'm posting it so everyone can see it (I will have the picture soon). The scary part is where it says "impingement on nerve roots" in several places.

There's not much else to report except that I've had a few days off work because my back locked up pretty bad. I couldn't put any pressure on my left leg at all for a couple of days. So I went to the chiropractor today and got a massage and light adjustment. It helped a little but I still have to be careful how I move.

Shirley keeps making me do the ice pack thing and making me stay in bed and sitting down as much as possible. So it's been starting to feel better since yesterday. She's been getting on to me about not using my cane to go small distances like to the bathroom, kitchen etc.

She's right though. I should listen to her because it pinches more when I don't use the cane. My left leg aches all the time now and it's getting worse though.

The surgeon's office called today and went over all the prerequisites for surgery and asked a bunch of questions and explained a few things to me. Basically I can't take anti-inflammatory or aspirin until after the operation in order to prevent excessive bleeding
(yikes!) AND I can't have ANYTHING after midnight the night before the procedure.

They explained to me a little bit about what exactly the doctor will be doing during the procedure but my cellphone was flaking out. I heard that they are lasing the discs to relieve pressure and something else that I couldn't understand because of big medical words and stuff.

Surgery is scheduled for 7:30am so I have to be in Tampa by 6am. So I'll be up at 2 O'clock waiting for them to come pick me up. The facility is providing transportation for us there and back.

I can't stand being at home this much. I only missed 4 shifts and I was out for 3 days but I'm so sick of watching Maury and Jerry Springer already that I can't stand it.

I really hope it doesn't take three whole weeks to recover from this. They said "up to" three weeks so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't take that long.

I NEED to get back to work tomorrow no matter what because we're going to be running low on money soon and we can't rely on this because I can't help but keep thinking "what if no one else donates?". I'm sure you know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure that after tonight's and tomorrows rest I'll be able to take deliveries, stand there and answer phones and do menial tasks like sweeping and dishes at least.

My family and I need a little help.

I got into a car accident 2 years ago and hurt my back and now I need surgery.

My problem right now is that I am scheduled to get back surgery soon (Sept. 6th) so I will be out of work for 2 or 3 weeks for recovery and I'm worried about how I'm going to buy groceries for my family and pay all the bills until I'm able to get back to work.

"Russian research project offers 'immortality' to billionaires - by transplanting their brains into robot bodies".

The article comes from a UK website called the "Daily Mail" which is a controversial website to begin with.

The article goes on to say that a Russian ENTREPRENEUR who heads a hi-tech research project called 'Avatar' has contacted billionaires through Forbes magazine to offer them immortality by transplanting their brains into a robot body. The project is expected to be production worthy within 10 years.

"Itskov, a 31-year-old media entrepreneur, says that he aims to transplant a human brain into a robot body within 10 years."

Right. This is an entrepreneurial scam to rob rich people of their billions folks.

This article did spark our curiosity about brainwave research though. The article says that our government is creating or has created a device that can interpret our brainwave signals into legible patterns they can use to read our minds.

After doing a little research about this topic we've found that this isn't far from becoming reality.

In the future soldiers will be able to control robotic surrogates (among other things) with only their minds.

Just when you thought developments in trash can technology hadn't moved too far since the trusted b-ball backboard accessory, a Japanese genius comes along to raise the bar. Modder FRP has created the Smart Trashbox, a moving can which uses a Kinect to track airborne garbage and make sure you'll never miss another shot. Impressively, it appears he designed and built every piece of the puzzle himself, from the motorized wheel base right down to the PCB. We dread to think how much coding this took, given that the Kinect monitors the entire room, calculates trash trajectory and sends the can interception orders. Apparently the accuracy stats don't demand MVP awards just yet, but check out the video it's pretty cool to watch.

Conspiracy Theorist Strangled By Catheter

Phil Schneider died on Januarv 17, 1996, reportedly strangled by a catheter found wrapped around his neck – the bizarre death being dismissed by the authorities as suicide. If the circumstances of his death seem highly controversial, they are matched by the controversy over his public statements uttered shortly before his death.
Phil Schneider was a self-taught geologist and explosives expert. Of the 129 deep underground facilities Schneider believed the US government had constructed since World War II, he claimed to have worked on 13. Two of these bases were major, including the much rumored bioengineering facility at Dulce, New Mexico. At Dulce, Schneider maintained, "gray" humanoid extraterrestrials worked side by side with American technicians. In 1979, a misunderstanding arose. In the ensuing shootout, 66 Secret Service, FBI and Black Berets were killed along with an unspecified nurnber of "grays". It was here he received a beam-weapon blast to the chest which caused his later cancer; many have confirmed that a large scar indeed existed.
Schneider maintained that numerous previous attempts had been made on his life, including the removal of the nuts from one of the front wheels of his automobile. He had stated publicly he was a marked man and did not expect to live long. "If I ever 'commit suicide'," Schneider told a close friend, "I'll have been murdered."
Some of Schneider's more major accusations are worthy of attention:
1) The American government concluded a treaty with "gray" aliens in 1954. This mutual cooperation pact is called the Grenada Treaty.
2) The space shuttle has been producing special alloys in orbit. A vacuum is needed for the creation of these special metals, thereby justifying the mandate for a large, permanently manned space station.
3) Much of our stealth aircraft technology was developed by back-engineering crashed alien craft.
4) AIDS was a population control virus invented by the National Ordinance Laboratory, Chicago, Illionois.
5) Unbeknownst to just about everyone, the US government has an earthquake device. Neither the 1995 Kobe earthquake nor the 1989 San Francisco quake had a pulse wave.
6) The World Trade Center bomb blast and the Oklahoma City blast were achieved using small nuclear devices. The melting and pitting of the concrete and the extrusion of metal supporting rods indicated this. (Schneider's forte, he claimed, was explosives.)
Finally, Phil Schneider lamented that the democracy he loved no longer existed: we had become instead a technocracy ruled by a shadow government intent on imposing their own view of things on all of us, whether we like it or not. He believed 11 of his best friends had been murdered in the last 22 years, eight of whose deaths had been officially explained as suicides.
Whatever one might think of Phil Schneider's claims, it's clear that he was of particular interest to the FBI and CIA. His widow has stated that intelligence agents thoroughly searched the premises shortly after his death and made off with at least a third of the family photographs.

Newly released UFO files from Britain's National Archives

Britian’s National Archives has release 25 files related to UFOs ranging from 1965 to 2008.
Included in the released info are various analyses regarding alien visitation.
Briefing for House of Lords UFO debateIn a briefing prepared for MoD prior to the House of Lords UFO Debate in 1979 a UFO (DI55) Intelligence Officer questions why in such a vast universe aliens would want to visit “an insignificant planet (the Earth) of an uninteresting star (the sun)”. He says such a visit “would probably not occur more than once in a thousand years or so, even if one assumes that every intelligent community made say 10 launches a year.” He questions why, if UFOs were piloted by aliens, no “intensive radio listening searches carried out by reputable scientific organisations, particularly in the US, have intercepted some of the transmissions between spacecraft or between spacecraft and their base”. He concludes “claims of thousands of visits in the last decade or so are far too large to be credible.” (p157)

Under the heading „possibilities‟ the author lists mass hallucinations, hoaxes, US Black Project aircraft, Russian or Chinese aircraft or Extra-Terrestrial visitors. He says there is no hard evidence for alien craft but says “if the sightings are not of this earth then their purpose needs to be established as a matter of priority. There has been no apparently hostile intent and other possibilities are: a) military reconnaissance b) scientific c) tourism”(p38-43).

UFO sightings and reports‘Welsh Triangle’ and silver-suited spacemen (DEFE 24/2043/1 p31-48)A spate of UFO and alien sightings in West Wales during 1977 led to tabloid headlines linking the region with the infamous Bermuda Triangle. The local MP, Nicholas Edwards, said he was “inundated” with reports from constituents and asked MoD to investigate. He received a letter from the proprietor a local hotel who claimed she saw a dome-shaped object land “like the moon falling down” behind the hotel. Two tall silver-suited “faceless humanoids” emerged and began “making measurements”. She told her MP she was left in a state of shock. MoD asked the RAF police to make “discreet enquiries” in the area and sent an officer from RAF Brawdy to interview the woman. He suspected a practical joker was at work in the area and noted that a silver protective suit used in nearby oil refineries had been on display in a shop window at Haverford west shortly before the ‘spacemen’ were seen.
‘Men in Black’ visitation(DEFE24/2089/1 p471)A member of the public from Spalding, Lincolnshire who had reported a UFO encounter to police, later went on to receive a late night visit from three tall men dressed in black suits who “seemed to move silently”, according to a friend who witnessed the visit whilst hiding in the downstairs toilet. The men apparently broke in through the back door, before entering the bedroom of the UFO witness and having a conversation, the content of which was not overheard. The “petrified” friend locked themselves in the toilet until „men in black‟ left in a black Jaguar soon afterwards. When asked afterwards, the UFO witness did not recall seeing any „men in black‟ or encountering a UFO in the first place.
Alien Abduction in Scotland(DEFE 31/189/1 p360-61)A report submitted to MoD in August 1992 by two men described a UFO seen over the A70 which “dropped a curtain of light across the road”. The men later underwent regression hypnosis and an alien abduction story emerged. This story is the basis of a feature film to be released later this year.
Chinese lantern UFOs 2005-7A craze for releasing sky lanterns led to a spate of UFOs reports to MoD from 2005.DEFE 24/2083/1 (p180-190 and p149-50) includes four separate reports of “golden orbs” seen by people near Loughton tube station in Essex and reported to police in September 2005. In DEFE 24/2088/1 (p155) a similar sighting from Brighton in August 2007 led a woman to call the MoD’s UFO hotline panicking [and] saying we had to ring her back (She left three messages saying this). She was petrified and so were her friends. She had never seen anything like this before”. A caller from Houghton-le-Spring, Co Durham, saw similar lights but did not think they were UFOs as he didn’t believe aliens would want to visit Houghton (p146-7).

MUFON Reports UFO activity over Colorado on 12 July 2012

A witness reports UFO activity over Colorado on 12 July 2012 according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database that was filed on 12 July 2012.
The witness describes what he or she was doing before his or her UFO sighting.
“I was outside smoking a cigarette and listening to one of my favourite songs on my ipod.”
The witness heard a loud helicopter overhead.
“The sound of the helicopter slightly overpowered the music in my headphones and that’s what made me look up. Since I live in the mountains, I figured it was another interesting event in the sky, given that I’ve seen a few up here.”
The witness observed unusual activity in the sky.
“Never have I come across helicopters, especially at around midnight. I took my headphones off, and at that same time the outdoor lights went dark. This was not too much of a surprise as they are on a timer, but that was not my main concern. I decided to let all lights stay off and observe what was going on.”
The witness believed that the unusual activity might simply be associated with secretive terrestrial military activity. The witness observed a UFO after he or she began to further observe apparent unusual military activity overhead.
“My first thought was a military mission coming back from some top-secret in the middle of the night and I took off my headphones to give a look and listen. What I saw was a helicopter with just one light on and something in front of it. I knew it was a military helicopter because of the sound and speed it was producing.”
The witness observed apparent military activity in pursuit of a UFO.
“It past almost overhead and that’s when I noticed that it looked like it was chasing something.. or escorting it? Swear on my life I watched this helicopter follow what looked like a dim star moving at the same speed as the aircraft but a few hundred feet in front of it. This was when I thought to myself "Am I actually witnessing my first UFO?”
The witness decided to research the UFO activity that he or she witnessed.
“After all the video I’ve researched online... It was uncanny. Something that looks like a star but is moving in Earth-real-time speed, not to mention being chased by a military chopper! My only other guess would be a drone or some other very small aircraft being covered by the helicopter, but the situation just doesn’t add up for me."
The witness further described his or her apparent UFO sighting.
"I saw and heard a modern U.S. Military helicopter following what looked to me like a dim star moving at the same speed as its pursuer. It seemed like a pursuit and not an escort.”
Roger Marsh indicates that two retired military personnel crossed paths on a Centerville, OH, street on 23 September 2011, and watched six round, illuminated lights move across the sky in formation that neither could identify, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The reporting witness is retired from the U.S. Army and the second witness said he had spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.
Roger Marsh also describes an increase in the activities of “fireball” orange orbs across the United States.

Car on fire rolls out into road

This is a video of a car on fire rolling out into the road that my wife and I saw while walking down the street. All of a sudden we saw this car on fire so I started videoing it. Then we heard a few pops and explosions and it started rolling out into the road. I was waiting for it to blow up big time like in the movies or something. We were gonna call 911 but by the time I got my phone out of my pocket we heard the fire trucks coming. There are a few more shots of this on my android that I'm going to upoad to this blog too.

Göbekli Tepe is a hilltop sanctuary erected on the highest point of an elongated mountain ridge some 15 km northeast of the town of Şanlıurfa, in southeastern Turkey.

This archealogical site has been carbon dated to be over 12,000 years old which is over 7,000 years older than stonehenge or the great pyramid. It is thought to represent the oldest advanced civilization on Earth and is the most astonishing archaeological discovery in modern times.

According to biblical tradition the world really began in 4,000 BC which is 8,000 years later than the creation of the structures at Göbekli Tepe.

My friend Mark informed me yesterday that this actually WAS a rocket as I vaguely suspected in the video at the end.

Mark Holmes: What you saw yesterday Bill was a Delta 4/NROL rocket- 27 ( classified spy satellite cargo directed for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office). But nevertheless it was still an awesome display...!!! Micro Hydro Electric Power - Energy Alternatives

If you're looking to save electricity and live near flowing water you should check this out. Umpqua Survival makes a unit called The Clean Green Stream Machine.

It's basically an alternator that's turned by water from a stream and a series of pipes (to create water pressure).

Hooked to an inverter one of these units can output 1500 watts which can charge batteries and run a few lights at the same time. Hook 4 of them up and you can have 6000 watts which would probably be enough to work your water heater and your dryer at the same time. I may be exaggerating a bit. :-) but you get the point.

Check out the video. This dude is saving a boatload on eletricity with these water turbines and solar panels.

We should all be doing things like this to boycot the electric companies in my opinion. I'm saving up for my equipment now.
