Getting High Injecting Snake Venom - Video From Vice

Documentary about a guy named Steve Ludwin who has intentionally been injecting himself with snake venom for some 20 odd years. One of the reasons he gives for doing this is the anti aging benefits, he's 46 in these vids though he looks like he's in his late 20s, so maybe there's something to it, though he seems to have had his fare share of risky moments.

Spherical flying machine developed by the Japanese Ministry of Defense. I can only hope that one day it gets turned into a toy.

Though it doesn't seem as easy to fly as the video above suggests, I don't care I'll practice that shit day in, day out.

Me and a couple buddies were having a few beers and playing with remote control cars a few nights ago, thought it would be cool if they made remote control cars with V-8 engines, next minute we're watching the video of this amazing fully functional miniature V-12 engine.

Boston Dynamics is in the business of robotics and they've created some of the coolest robots I've ever seen including the BigDog and LittleDog robots which I've posted about previously.

The above Boston Dynamics PETMAN Video shows an anthropomorphic robot that looks like something right out of a Terminator movie, apparently it's used to test special clothing used by military personal, surely that's not all they're using it for.

Falling into an active volcano is quite a frightening prospect, I've often wondered what would happen, would I remain on the crust? would I sink like a stone? would I be quick enough on my feet to run to safety? well I guess these questions are somewhat answered in the above video.

In the video we see the results of what happens when an estimated 30kg of organic trash is thrown into Erta Ale volcano, the results are amazing.

Walking With Dinosaurs, Costumes and Animatronics

Ever wondered what it would be like to really walk with dinosaurs? I was fascinated with them as a kid, I'd spend hours at a time trying to imagine the world of dinosaurs with complete clarity. The movie Jurassic Park signaled the end of that fascination for me as a kid, it just couldn't get any better.

Some 15 years later and the stage show Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular comes along and blows Jurassic Park out of the water. The costumes and animatronics are simply amazing, bringing us the closest we've ever been to really walking with dinosaurs... well apart from hanging with birds and crocodiles.

This first video fooled me, I actually thought I'd missed some world changing news or something, granted the link I clicked was misleading and the version I saw was rather blurry so I couldn't see old chicken legs there.

Here's a couple videos of a giant crocodile caught in the Philippines recently. The giant crocodile measures 21 feet and weighs just over half a ton and was caught in the province of Agusan del Sur. It seems the croc is destined for an eco-tourism park. It sure does look huge all closeup and whatnot, but is it bigger than Gustave?

I don't know if this is legit, but it seems Japanese scientists, probably just the one scientist, are researching ways to turn human feces into edible protein products, such as shit steaks and turd burgers.

I'm sure that when all is said and done the product would be completely safe to consume, just like spit beer, but if you ask me it's not far off making The Human Centipede a reality.

Filmed in 1976 by Jean Pierre Dutilleux and his crew, this amazing footage shows the first contact between a tribe in Papua New Guinea and the white man.

It's rather lengthy over the three videos but very interesting. I have a vague recollection of seeing this on TV as a youngster, found it amazing then as well.

Upon first seeing the MKV video below and taking into account the name of the device, I'm sure most would think it's firing rounds off, not the case, all that commotion is just it's thrusters and what not keeping it steady and hovering.

The idea is that they would deploy a bunch of these Multiple Kill Vehicles to block and destroy missiles before they hit their target.

Pretty futuristic ain't it.
