Sharks are predatory creatures in the waters, but when they escape into a mall after their tank broke apart with turtles, it can send people into a shock like none before, especially when they can’t believe what they are witnessing. There was a total of three sharks, twelve turtles, and several exotic fish that were killed after their 33 1/2 ton tank exploded, shattering glass everywhere, injuring some people as they were walking towards the food court in the mall. The tank itself was only 2 years old, and it’s unknown why it exploded. “Details are still vague at this time as the investigation is ongoing. At this point, there is still no official explanation as to why the 15cm thick acrylic glass failed and why the shark tank exploded. Early speculations suggest that the changing cold climate might have caused the glass to become brittle,” officials said. The sharks that escaped into the mall died due to lack of water. The people who were injured were said to have been cut with the large pieces of glass, which shattered when the tank gave way. Some of the injuries were serious, but none were life-threatening. There will not be another aquarium erected to replace the one that exploded — obviously no one wants something like this to happen again and perhaps the area was not the best place for such a structure. When it was all over, there were few signs that the sharks were there and that area of the mall was closed for clean up.

On the night of 16 December 2012, a Physiotherapy Student (Girl) was Gang-Raped in Delhi. The woman is being informally referred as Damini (Virtual/ Imaginary/ Not Real- Name), Nirbhaya and Amanat by the Indian public and media. The victim, with a male companion, boarded a Local Bus (of Yadav Travels, Noida= Owner Company) in South Delhi around 9:30 pm after watching a film. They were assaulted by a group of six males already on board the bus, who then raped the woman. The young woman is being treated at Safdarjang Hospital New Delhi, where she was on ventilatory support for five days. The incident has generated widespread public protests and international coverage. It has been condemned by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, who called on the Government of India and the Government of Delhi “to do everything in their power to take up radical reforms, ensure justice and reach out with robust public services to make women’s lives more safe and secure”. Minister Sheila Dikshit’s suggestion, five fast track courts were approved to try the rape cases. In an interview Dikshit has said she “hates Delhi being called ‘Rape Capital’ but it has indeed become one”. The Parliament’s Standing Committee on Home Affairs will meet on 27 December 2012 to discuss the issue, with summons for Union Home Secretary R. K. Singh and Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar. On 21 December 2012, the Government promised to file the charge sheet “quickly” and seek the maximum penalty of life imprisonment for the perpetrators.

Delhi Gang-Rape Case: Girl Critical, Flown to Singapore:

Dec 27, 2012, 12.11 AM IST: NEW DELHI : A last-ditch battle has been mounted to save Nirbhaya. Late on Wednesday night, the rape victim was flown in a special air ambulance to Singapore where she will be taken to the Mount Elizabeth hospital, a top-notch critical care medical centre. "Her health is precarious, that's the main issue before the government," said a Union minister, not wanting to be identified.

Doctors at Safdarjung Hospital where Nirbhaya was being treated for the last one week were hesitant to hold out hope. "Still, the fight to save her is just as strong," said a doctor.

Safdarjung Hospital sources said Singapore's Mount Elizabeth is equipped to deal with trauma and serious medical complications. It is also capable of carrying out multiple organ transplants.

Niirbhaya is being accompanied by Dr P.K.Verma, Incharge of Safdarjung Hospital's ICU, who is leading a team of doctors, many of them from Medanta. Her father and mother are also accompanying her.

Three air ambulances have been pressed into service - two of Safdarjung Hospital's and one of Medanta's. The decision to take Nirbhaya to Singapore is understood to have been taken at the highest level.

The Union cabinet discussed her worsening health condition on Wednesday morning and considered options for her medical care abroad. Government is also concerned about fresh protests if the worst can't be averted, and is therefore keen to be seen to be doing its very best to save Nirbhaya. ---- The flight to Singapore will be 6-hours long. Nirbhaya's condition worsened last night when she suffered a cardiac arrest and was revived after administration of CPR (cardiac pulmonary resuscitation). Through Wednesday, doctors at Safdarjung hospital struggled to fight the infection seeping through her body.

Sources said the government has been considering the possibility of an intestine transplant but Nirbhaya can undergo this only after the Sepsis Threatening to overwhelm her weakened immune system recedes. Moving Nirbhaya abroad will also mean that Safdarjung hospital is no longer a focus of protestors and media attention. As word of Nirbhaya's impending transfer spread, the crowd outside the hospital began to swell as protestors began to arrive along with BJP state chief Vidender Gupta. The victim was shifted from Safdarjung hospital in a Medanta ambulance, from the Gurgaon-based multi-speciality hospital run by heart surgeon Naresh Trehan. A team from Medanta also examined Nirbhaya on Wednesday. Speculation mounted earlier in the evening as for the first time in several days, there was no official word on Nirbhaya's medical condition. Doctors did not issue a health bulletin and media persons were awaiting official word on her condition. Nirbhaya's family members were also unavailable for information. Nirbhaya's health concerns loomed in the backdrop of plans for a protest march by women's groups on Thursday that had police on tenterhooks. Another round of protests could precipitate a fresh confrontation with the government. Finance Minister P.Chidambaram, who briefed the media after the Cabinet meeting, identified the problem as a "new phenomenon" of "flash mobs" resorting to protests and the government not being fully prepared to deal with such situations. The minister's bid to express his sense of shame and to pray for Nirbhaya's well-being could have been an attempt to undo some of the damage done by Home Minister Sushil Shinde's clumsy articulation.

The police particularly has Aam Aadmi Party in mind as it feels the group has a core of a few hundred committed supporters who could be willing to precipitate a confrontation. The dissonance between the home ministry, Delhi government and the police is also worrying Congress leaders. The absence of a strong political initiative to ensure a united front and deliver a deterrent message to miscreants, and despondency over Shinde's wooden response and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's limited intervention is worrying Congress leaders. The spontaneous and largely non-political nature of the protests led by students and young people and the possibility of trouble makers using the unsettled situation to indulge in violence and rioting is a key worry. A crisis can see the government come under all around political fire as the opposition has accused the Centre of not doing enough to respond to the demands raised by the protestors and women's groups. The bitterness in the exchanges between Congress and BJP spokespersons does not offer much hope of a bi-partisan approach. BJP has rejected the PM's appeal for calm, saying the assurance was inadequate as he had not responded to the demand for a special session of Parliament to pass tougher anti-rape laws that will include death penalty.

No Logic In Shifting Gang-rape Survivor : say Delhi Doctors :

As the 23-year-old gang-rape survivor struggles for life in Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital, doctors in the national capital said moving her abroad in such a condition was "unusual". There was "no logic" behind it, they said. "I can't understand the logic behind it, or rather it is unusual to transfer the girl from Delhi to Singapore when the patient has suffered a cardiac arrest, as I have been informed by the media," Samiran Nundy, chairman, department of surgical gastroenterology and organ transplantation, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, told IANS.

The 23-year-old survivor was brutally beaten and raped by six men on a moving bus in Delhi Dec 16. She now fights for life with severe multiple intestinal, abdominal and other injuries.

She was flown to Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital late Wednesday night. "My suggestion would have been to stabilise her in India and get her out of the crisis; then do her intestinal transplant later. One cannot think about intestinal transplant at this moment. First, the infection spreading in her should be stopped, then one can think about transplant," Nundy said. Another senior doctor from the trauma centre of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, requesting anonymity, said: "Maybe it was politically logical to shift the patient. But as a doctor, I would say it is totally insensitive to shift the patient with her infection spreading. Shifting now, that too within a few hours of cardiac arrest, is thoughtless." Mount Elizabeth Hospital, where the woman is being treated, on Thursday confirmed that she had a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Wednesday. Nundy also said that in case of intestinal transplant, chances of survival are five years in 60 percent of cases, and one year in 80 percent. Meanwhile, doctors treating the woman at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore have said she had suffered "significant brain injury" and continued to be in an "extremely critical condition".

Besides a prior cardiac arrest, the woman also had infection in her lungs and abdomen, "as well as significant brain injury", Kelvin Loh, the hospital's chief executive officer, was quoted as saying by the Straits Times. "The patient is currently struggling against odds, and fighting for her life," he said. He said a multi-disciplinary team of specialists has been working round-the-clock to treat her since her arrival Thursday. They were "doing everything possible to stabilise her condition over the next few days", he added.

Former actress and Rajya Sabha member Jaya Bachchan broke down Saturday during a silent march held for the Delhi gang-rape victim here this evening. The 23-year-old victim died in a Singapore hospital early Saturday. Jaya Bachchan expressed her condolences to the victim's family and said that she understood their pain. “There are many girls in my family. I feel scared when I think of what the 23-year-old had to go through. Whatever we did was very late. We should collectively apologise to the family and to all women who have gone through such an ordeal. Please don't tarnish the reputation of our country,” she said. In memory of the victim, Mumbaikers joined a silent march from Juhu beach to Kaifi Azmi park. The protest was led by the late poet's daughter, former actress and social activist Shabana Azmi. "The brave girl has lost her life but has awakened the country," Azmi said. Various Bollywood celebrities took to the streets to show their support to the deceased victim and her family. Celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Alka Yagnik, Lalit Pandit, Jaya Bachchan, Javed Akhtar, Hema Malini, Om Puri, Deepika Padukone, Kunal Kapoor and Sonu Nigam were among those present. Singer Sonu Nigam, who has stayed in the capital, said: "I have stayed in Delhi. The boys are hungry there and they look at women as if they are restaurants," he said. Actress Hema Malini said: “The incident should not have taken place. India is known for its culture and tradition but these kinds of incidents are scary. The sad thing is the government didn't do anything. Everybody is scared to step out their house, there is no security.”

Rainbow Eucalyptus - The Most Colorful Tree On Earth.

These trees may look like they've been painted on, but these colors are all natural. This peculiar tree is called Eucalyptus deglupta, commonly known as the Rainbow Eucalyptus, and also known as the Mindanao Gum, or the Rainbow Gum. The multi-coloured streaks on its trunk comes from patches of outer bark that are shed annually at different times, showing the bright-green inner bark.

This then darkens and matures to give blue, purple, orange and then maroon tones.

Eucalyptus deglupta is the only Eucalyptus species found naturally in the Northern Hemisphere. It grows naturally in New Britain, New Guinea, Ceram, Sulawesi and Mindanao. Here’s the story of France with Pharaoh Ramesses. When Francisco Mitra became the president of France in 1981. France requested from the Egyptian government to host the mummy of Pharaoh.

For the purpose of running laboratory and archeological examinations on the mummy of the most notorious dictator ever lived on earth. Upon arrival, a very royal attendants were there including the French president himself and all ministers who bowed in honor for the mummy.

The final report of the scientists was released late at night which states that the remaining salt in the mummy is an overt evidence that it was drawn in the sea, and the body was rescued very shortly where it was immediately embalmed to be saved. An amazing thing was still confusing Professor Maurice is that how could this body possibly be safer than any other mummy despite being taken out of the sea up until this time.

Professor Maurice was writing his final report on what he thought would be a new discovery about saving Pharaoh’s body immediately after his death and embalming it.
And there, someone whispered to him that Muslims claim to know something about the drowning of this mummy. Yet the Professor firmly denied such thing saying that it’s impossible to discover this without the development of science and without using his high-tech and complicated laboratories and computers.
To his surprise, he was told that Muslims believe in a book called “Quran” and this Quran narrates the story of Pharaoh’s drowning and ensures the safety of his body after his death as to be a Sign to mankind. The Professor couldn’t believe his own ears and started to wonder, How can a book existed 1400 years ago speak about the mummy that was only found100 years ago, in 1898!! How can that be possible while the ancient Egyptian heritage was discovered only a few decades ago and no one knew about it before!!
The Professor sat down pondering on what he was told about the book of Muslims while his Holy Book narrates only the drowning of Pharaoh without saying anything about his body “Is it possible that this mummy in front of me is the one who was chasing Moses!!” “Is it possible that Muhammad knew this 1400 years ago!!”

The Professor couldn’t sleep that night till they brought him the Old Testament where he read: “the sea drowned Pharaoh and his army, no one else was left alive” He was surprised that the Holy Book didn’t mention about the destiny of the body and that it will be saved
When the scientists were done with the mummy, France retuned it to Egypt, but Professor Maurice couldn’t rest for a moment since he was told that Muslims know about the safety of the body. So, he decided to travel and meet anatomy Muslim scientists and there he spoke about his discovery of the safety of the mummy after its death in the sea and so on.
One of the Muslim scientists stood up and simply opened the Quran and pointed to the Professor at one verse:
“This day shall We save you in your body, that you may be a Sign to those who come after you! But verily, many among mankind are neglectful of Our Signs”
The Professor was struck when he read that and immediately stood in front of the crowd and said loudly: “I believe in Islam, I believe in Quran”
Then he went back to France with a different face he traveled with. In France, he dedicated 10 years investigating the scientific discoveries and comparing them with the Quran and trying to come up with one scientific contradiction with the Quran. Finally he quoted one verse from the Quran to be his conclusion:
“No falsehood can approach it (this book) from before or behind it: it is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all praise”
As a result of all years of his research, Professor Maurice wrote a book that shook all Europe, especially the scientists there
“Quran, Torah, Bible and Science: A Study of the Holy Books in the Light of Modern Science”

All copies were sold out at a very short time
In another chapter in the Quran:
“When Moses came to them with Our clear Signs, they said: This is nothing but sorcery faked up: never did we hear the like among our fathers of old!
Moses said: “My Lord knows best who it is that comes with guidance from Him and whose end will be best in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper.

So We seized his and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: now behold what was the end of those who did wrong!
And We made them (but) leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find.
In this world We made a curse to follow them: and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the loathed (and despised).”
“Has not the time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and the Truth which has been revealed to them, and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard For many among them are rebellious transgressors.
Know you (all) that Allah gives life to the earth after its death! Already have We shown the Signs plainly to you, that you may learn wisdom.
For those who give in charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beatiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credits), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward.
And those who believe in Allah and His messengers- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the Witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: they shall have their Reward and their Light.

Dina Sanichar, named ‘the Indian Wolf Boy,’

is one of the oldest known cases of a feral child. He was believed to be about 6 years old when he was found by hunters in 1867. The hunters saw a pack of wolves enter a cave followed by a human who was running on four legs. The men smoked the wolves out of the cave. The men then went into the cave and found Dina. He was rescued from the jungles of Bulandshahr and put through treatment, though not much existed during his time.

People worked with him to rid him of his animalistic behaviors, which included eating raw meat, ripping off clothing, and eating food that was on the ground. After time he was able to be fed cooked meat, but he never did learn to talk

सबसे पहले आप नोटपेड खोलें

अब जिस ड्राइव में ये दोनों फाइल सेव हैं उसी में love नाम का फोल्डर बना लें ,
जब फोल्डर तेयार हो जाए तो lock.bat फ़ाइल पे क्लिक करें ये लोक हो जायेगा और जब फोल्डर खोलना हो तो key.bat क्लिक करे....
याद रखे ये सभी फ़ाइल और फ्ल्डर एक हि ड्राइव में रखें
वैसे तो इस काम को करने के कई तरीके उपलब्ध हैं पर यहाँ एक आसान तरीका बताया जा रहा है ।
सबसे पहले तो आप जान लें की इसके लिए आपको किन किन चीजों की जरुरत होगी
सबसे पहले तो आपको Windows Xp Installation सीडी की जरुरत होगी जिससे आप एक्सपी इंस्टाल करेंगे । ----------- फिर आपको एक छोटे 1.3 एमबी आकार का सॉफ्टवेयर EasyBCD डाउनलोड करना होगा । ------------ इसको आप यहा से ले सकते है www.mediafire.com/download.php?7gfnfzk0ybc6gsd
साथ ही आपको EasyBCD प्रोग्राम को चलाने के लिए .Net Framework 2.0 की जरुरत होगी ।
इसके बारे मे तो आप सब को पहले से हि पता है
ध्यान दे की .Net Framework 2.0 के बिना आप EasyBCD का प्रयोग नहीं कर पायेंगे ।
(आप .Net Framework 2.0 से नए संस्करण का भी उपयोग कर सकते हैं । )
अब आपको अपनी एक्सपी सीडी को बूट कराकर एक्सपी को अन्य ड्राइव जैसे D में इन्स्टाल कर लेना है ।
इसके पहले अगर आप D ड्राइव का डाटा किसी अन्य ड्राइव में सुरक्षित कर D ड्राइव को खाली करलें ।
जब आप विंडोज एक्सपी इंस्टाल करेंगे तो आपके स्टार्ट अप् मेनू में विंडोज 7 का विकल्प नहीं आएगा हमें वही करना है । विंडोज एक्सपी इंस्टाल होने के बाद हमे EasyBCD और .Net Framework 2.0 इंस्टाल करना है अब EasyBCD को शुरू करें और निचे दिए चित्र के अनुसार क्रम से क्योकि हमे विच मे चित्र लगाने नहि आया
- Add New Entry बटन पर क्लिक करें ।
- अब दायीं ओर ड्रॉप डाउन मेनू में Windows NT/2k/XP/2k3 का विकल्प चुनें ।
ध्यान रखे की चित्र की तरह Automatically detect correct drive का विकल्प शुरू हो ।
- अब Add Entry बटन पर क्लिक करें ।
प्रोग्राम को बंद न करें
अब दूसरा चरण निचे दिए चित्र की तरह क्रम से क्योकि हमे विच मे चित्र लगाने नहि आया
- Bootloader Setup बटन पर क्लिक करें
- अब दायीं ओर Install the Windows Vista/7 bootloader to the MBR विकल्प का चुनाव करें ।
- फिर Write MBR बटन पर क्लिक करें ।
EasyBCD को बंद कर दें ।
अब आपने कंप्यूटर को रिस्टार्ट करें । इस तरह से स्क्रीन पर आपको दो विकल्प उपलब्ध होंगे ।
अब आप विंडोज 7 के साथ विंडोज एक्सपी का भी प्रयोग कर सकते है बिना कोई डाटा या सेटिंग खोये ।
अगर एक लैपटाप ऑन हो और उस पर skype लोड हो , skype चल रहा हो तो क्या कोई व्यक्ति skype कैमरा hack करके उसकी पिक्चर live देख सकता है। अर्थात बिना user की जानकारी के।

१. वो लोग वाकई में अपराधी है और गोपनीयता को ताक में रखकर सूचनाओ को क्षति पहुचाते है यह महत्वपूर्ण सूचनाओ को एकत्रत करके गलत हाथो में बेच देता है सही अर्थ में इन्टरनेट जिसे में मायाजाल कहता हू के सबसे बड़े अपराधी यही है इन्हें दो नामो से जाना जाता है
A. Phishers जो आपके अकाउंट की डिटेल्स चुराते है जैसे credit card no. और आपके अकाउंट passwords. ---- B. Crackers या Black Hat hackers जो सामरिक महत्व की सुचनाये चुराते है जिसकी कीमत इन्हें विरोधी मुल्को से मिलती है या फिर किसी कम्पनी का महत्वपूर्ण डाटा किसी अन्य कंपनी को बेच देना
२.वो लोग जो हेकिंग भलाई के लिए सीखते है जिनका मकसद सुरक्षा कमियों को दूर करना और आपको सुरक्षित रखना है इन्हें हम Ethical hackers या दूसरे शब्दों में white Hat hackers के नाम से जानते है
आजकल इसे बहुत महत्व दिया जा रहा है और एक नए करिअर के रूप में युवा इसे देख रहे है यह आपके लिए कार्य करते है और इनकी यही कोशिश रहती है मायाजाल के इन नए अपराधियों से आपको कैसे बचाया जा सके
पहला अंतरराष्ट्रीय सायबर जासूसी का मामला सामने आया जिसमे पश्चिम जर्मनी के चार हैकरस को अमेरिकी सरकार और कंपनियों को हैक कर के ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम के source code को सोविएत रशिया कि जासुसी संस्था KGB को बेचने के आरोप मे गिरफ़्तार किया गया . ये जानकारी ज्यादा महत्वपुर्ण ना होने के कारण हैकर्स पर जुर्माना लगाकर इन्हे जेल भेज दिया गया.

Another planet photographed up close for the first time during the 1970s was Jupiter. This photograph was taken on 2 December 1974 and shows Jupiter, left, and Ganymede, upper right, one of Jupiter's four big moons. It was taken from the spacecraft Pioneer II, about 463,000 miles from the planet's surface.

As you would expect the Sun is another object that does not escape the studies of scientists and the Stereo spacecraft were created by Nasa with a view to gaining more knowledge of the star. The Stereo spacecraft were launched in 2006 and the mission's plan is to have these two craft on opposite sides of the Sun enabling the whole star to be seen at once. These craft mean that solar activity such as coronal mass ejections and solar flares can be studied in more detail. This image shows an eruptive prominence blasting away from the sun.

In February 2011 Nasa announced the discovery of a strange new solar system with six planets orbiting around a sun-like star, which they called Keplar-11. This artist's rendering provided by Nasa, shows Kepler-11, with the six planets in orbit. The planet-hunting Kepler space telescope is finding whole new worlds of possibility in the search for alien life, including more than 50 potential planets that initially appear to be in habitable zones.

Arguably one of Nasa's biggest success stories has been the Hubble Space Telescope, which has given scientists a whole new look at space and the origins of the universe. Hubble has captured images of various galaxies, including this celestial object that looks like a delicate butterfly.

These photos of Io, Europa, Callisto and Ganymede, the four largest moons of Jupiter, were taken by the Hubble telescope in October 1995. Located approximatley one-half billion miles away, the moons are so small that, in visible light, they appear as fuzzy disks in the largest ground-based telescopes.

Several hundred never before seen galaxies are visible in this 'deepest-ever' view of the universe, called the Hubble Deep Field (HDF), made with the Hubble telescope in 1996. Besides the classical spiral and elliptical shaped galaxies, there are a variety of other galaxy shapes and colours that are important clues to understanding the evolution of the universe. Some of the galaxies may have formed less that one billion years after the 'big bang.' Representing a narrow 'keyhole' view all the way to the visible horizon of the universe, the HDF image covers a speck of sky 1/30th the diameter of the full moon.

This image of Jupiter's ice-covered moon Europa was taken by the Galileo spacecraft on 7 September 1996. The image on the left shows the approximate natural colours of Europa. The image on the right is a false-colour composite designed to enhance the colour differences in the predominantly frozen crust of Europa. Dark brown areas represent rocky materials and the long, dark lines are fractures in the crust, some of which are more than 1,850 miles long. Galileo was launched by Nasa in 1989 to study Jupiter and its moons.

This image shows a peculiar system of galaxies known as Arp 194. This interacting group contains several galaxies, along with a 'cosmic fountain' of stars, gas, and dust that stretches over 100,000 light years. The most striking feature of this galaxy troupe is the impressive blue stream of material extending from the northern component. This 'fountain' contains complexes of super star clusters, each one of which may contain dozens of individual young star clusters. The blue colour is produced by the hot, massive stars which dominate the light in each cluster. Overall, the 'fountain' contains many millions of stars.

The Hubble telescope was responsible for this stunning image. It shows a three-light-year-tall pillar of gas and dust that is being eaten away by the brilliant light from nearby bright stars. The pillar is also being assaulted from within, as infant stars buried inside it fire off jets of gas that can be seen streaming from towering peaks. This turbulent cosmic pinnacle lies within a tempestuous stellar nursery called the Carina Nebula, located 7,500 light-years away in the southern constellation Carina.

The planet Mars has long excited interest among everyone from scientists to writers, thanks to its closeness to Earth and its distinctive red hue. This photograph, taken by the Viking spacecraft on 31 July 1976, prompted much curiosity thanks to its apparent depiction of a human face. Nasa later explained that the image was an optical illusion caused by the illumination angle of the sun, the surface of the planet and the resulting shadows, giving the impression of eyes, nose and mouth.

This high-quality image from Hubble is so incredibly sharp it could be enlarged to billboard size and still retain all of its stunning details. This Whirlpool Galaxy image showcases the spiral galaxy's classic features, from its curving arms, where new-born stars reside, to its yellowish central core that serves as home for older stars. The graceful, winding arms of this galaxy are actually long lanes of stars and gas laced with dust. There is also a small galaxy, known as NGC 5195, which is passing behind the Whirlpool.

The wonders of space include the planets, and the other planets in our solar system continually attract the attention of space scientists. Our closest neighbour, Mars, has drawn huge amounts of attention and in 2004 Nasa successfully landed twin explorer vehicles on the red planet. One of the explorers, Opportunity, is still functioning, but contact with the other rover, Spirit, was lost in March 2010. This image was captured by Spirit and shows boulders on the surface of Mars. The rock surface facing the rover is similar in appearance to the surface texture on the outside of lava flows on Earth.

One of the main man-made wonders in space has to be the International Space Station (ISS), which is the largest artificial satellite to have ever orbited Earth. The first stages of the ISS were launched in 1998 and its first human inhabitants moved in, in October 2000. Construction is still on-going and is expected to be completed in 2012, with the ISS operational for another eight years after that. This photograph was taken in 2006, shortly after the space shuttle Atlantis had undocked from the satellite.

In studying space scientists have found many stunning images throughout the universe, and this one is no exception. In 2005 Hubble captured this image of a galaxy called Messier 104, more commonly known as the Sombrero galaxy because in visible light it resembles the broad-brimmed Mexican hat. The Sombrero is one of the most massive objects at the southern edge of the Virgo cluster of galaxies. It is equal in size to 800 billion suns. This spiral galaxy is located 28 million light-years away and is 50,000 light-years across

The planet Saturn and its many moons have come under scrutiny thanks to the Cassini-Huygens Saturn Probe. This image, captured in 2004, shows the planet and it rings in glorious detail. The most common theory for the formation of Saturn's rings is that they are the remains of a giant, unnamed moon that crashed into the planet. The Cassini probe launched in 1997 and finally entered Saturn's orbit in 2004; last year the mission was extended until 2017.

In February 2011 Nasa's Stardust mission brought the Stardust spacecraft in close to the Tempel One comet. The Stardust craft flew past the comet, which is half the size of Manhattan during a Valentine's Day rendezvous that scientists hoped would shed light on these icy solar system bodies. At nearest approach, the craft passed within 112 miles of the potato-shaped comet, closer than the original prediction.

Two years after the first person was sent into space, this photograph was taken by astronaut Leroy Gordon Cooper from his spaceship Faith 7, during his 22-orbit earth flight. It dates from 16 May 1963, and was one of the first ever photos to clearly show the curvature of the planet.

This image shows the Crab Nebula that is one of the most studied objects in the sky, making it a cosmic icon. This mighty cosmic 'generator,' produces energy at the rate of 100,000 suns. This composite image uses data from three of Nasa's observatories. The Chandra X-ray image is shown in blue, the Hubble Space Telescope optical images are in yellow and red, and the Spitzer Space Telescope's infrared image is in purple.

The development of space technology has allowed scientists to look at the full range of celestial objects. This image shows the comet Hartley Two, which was captured by the EPOXI Mission Deep Impact spacecraft. The craft passed within 435 miles of the comet, which is estimated to be 1.4 miles long, and weigh about 280 million metric tons.

This is a three-dimensional perspective view of the surface of Venus. It is a computer-generated image based on radar data collected by the US Magellan space craft, which was launched in 1989 with the specific purpose of travelling to Venus. This image is combined with colour images from the Soviet Venera 13 and 14 space craft, and was released by Nasa in March 1991.

On 8 June 1965, humans experienced the wonders of outer space for themselves for the first time. In this photograph, astronaut Ed White moves away from his Gemini 4 capsule as his golden tether unreels from a black bag in which it was kept until he emerged from the spacecraft. During his brief 'spacewalk', White somersaulted away for most of the tether's length, then manouvered back with the aid of an oxygen rocket gun. This picture was taken by White's fellow astronaut, James McDivitt, with a Hasselblad camera.

In 2006 the Hubble Telescope was focused on Jupiter and for the first time in history, astronomers witnessed the birth of a new red spot on the giant planet, which is located half a billion miles away. The storm is roughly one-half the diameter of its bigger and legendary cousin, the Great Red Spot. Researchers suggest that the new spot may be related to a possible major climate change in Jupiter's atmosphere.

More history was made on 20 July 1969, when a human being set foot upon the moon for the first time. This photograph shows astronaut Edwin E. 'Buzz' Aldrin Jr. beside an American flag deployed on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission. The photograph was taken by his fellow astronaut, and the first person to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong.

This picture was taken during the Gemini 7 mission of December 1965. It shows waves of clouds along the east flanks of the Andes Mountains casting off an orange glow by the low angle of the sun in the west. One of the astronauts on the flight was James A. Lovell, who later spoke of his feelings on seeing this image of the Earth: 'I understood how insignificant we are, how fragile we are, and how fortunate we are to have a body that will allow us to enjoy the sky and the trees and the water and the vision and the hearing and all that stuff to see what's going around out here. Everything out there is so stark.''

From the 1970s onwards, our understanding of space broadened to encompass the whole of the solar system. New technology allowed us to see our galatic neighbours in detail for the first time. This picture was taken on 21 September 1974 and shows the south pole of Mercury, the planet nearest to the sun. It was taken shortly after the spacecraft Mariner 10 reached its closest point to the planet.

Mercury is another planet that has now come under closer scrutiny, thanks to Nasa's Messenger spacecraft. This image shows the Debussy crater on Mercury as well as impact debris and a number of other secondary craters. The Messenger spacecraft was launched in 2004 and completed a complicated series of flybys around Earth and Venus, that allowed it to slow sufficiently to be able to enter Mercury' orbit without being pulled past by the Sun's gravity.

Turkey prepared the World's Largest omelet

In an attempt to promote eggs as a healthy and cheap food source, and celebrate World Egg Day, Turkish chefs managed to set a new world record for the World’s Largest Omelette.

50 Turkish Cooks - along with 10 chefs whisked 110010 eggs on a giant fryer - 10 meters in diameter and The omelette took 2.5 hours to cook, but I bet the people involved could think of no better way to celebrate World Egg Day. 432 liters of oil were needed to make this larger-than-life-dish nice and fluffy. The event was staged by the Turkish Egg Producers Association as a way of promoting eggs as a tasty and healthy meal.

The giant omelette weighed 4.4 Tons - beating the old record of 3.625 Tons, by almost a ton. After the offcial weighing, the omlette was served to the thousands of by-standers attracted by the smell.
