What was your favorite books growing up? Robert Munch? Tedd Arnold? Eric Carle? I loved books growing up and now that I have kids I am always looking for old story books that I can tell them about and read to them. In the past I have found a couple like The very hungry Caterpillar. That was one of my favorite books and now I can share that story with my children. As we grow older we tend to change our likes and dislikes when it comes to our reading and as I grew older I read all kinds but now prefer romance novels.

In school we seemed to read a variety of books that were meant to make us think. One in particular always stands out for me lord of the flies. It wasn't the best but it was still pretty good. It's based during a war, a plane of school boys crashes on a deserted island and have to fend for themselves. The things that these boys did were pretty crazy but they did what they had to in order to survive. I so couldn't imagine having to go through that.

I love the twilight series and have yet to finish the books. Same with vampire diaries. I love when books are made into movies except when things get left out LOL.

So how often do you use the telephone nowadays? I myself barely ever use the thelephone anymore. Once in a while I used it to talk to family and friends but I would much prefer to speak with businesses through email. When I am not working I use the internet for just about anything I can. It seems so much more convenient than talking on the phone or going in to an office.

I use the internet to pay bills and look for products. If I could do my grocery shopping online i probably would LOL. But since I live in canada most stores do not offer this kind of shopping.

I think if I had the option of doing all my shopping online it wouldn't be very good. I would probably end up never leaving my house. Since I have 3 kids that wouldn't work to well. The only store I can think of off hand that lets you buy non-perishable items is London Drugs. Anywho, I gotta go to work soon so I will bring this to an end now.

1995 Oldsmobile tire replacement

Well today I am going to talk about a site I used to find out an estimate on new tires. Recently I got a flat tire and since I had never had one before I was soooo lost. I was stuck I couldn't get the tire off and then when I had help the tire ended up being too small which I didn't know until later on. I was trying to drive home after the flat was put on and the tire was making a big screeching noise. I looked behind me and someone was flashing their lights to get me to stop so I stop and the tire was smoking. Well since the original tire wasn't popped but just had a leak it was put back on and pumped up for me to get home.

I decided to look online for what a tire would cost and I came across a site that gives estimates on all kinds of repairs. My old car was an 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass and now I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and I can still find estimates for it. I was really happy with how accurate Repairpal's site and will definitely use it for estimates on future repairs.

My son went to a friend's house last night and he came back telling me all these things the boys mother allowed him to do. Now my son't isn't even nine yet and he was allowed to Play left for dead 1 and 2 and watch Jaws and Aliens vs predetors which are all intended for adults NOT children. I dont' understand why adults don't monitor their kids to play this junk. Left for dead is nothing but violence. Killing, bashing and cutting up zombies, it's so full of blood and gore, and I do NOT allow my children to play or watch these types of games. What is wrong with people???????????????? GRRRRRRR.........

Well I am a blogger. I may not be a good blogger or I might be the best blogger but you know I find it hard to mak a buck blogging. You see the ads and you think how hard could it be? But in order to make any real money blogging you need to be someone dedicated to blogging daily and then you also need to blog about something that everyone wants to read. If you want get your blogs PR(page rank) up high enough you can't get the bigger jobs that payout something worth your time. I used to be dedicated to writing at least one entry per day but when you have kids it's hard to find the time to write and then there are other things that get in the way like facebook. OMG Facebook definitly has me hooked LOL I go there everyday and spend most of my free time there. The internet and facebook are such an addiction for so many people and then people wonder why they gain weight. Anyways being a blogger can be hard but with a little dedication and effort you could be making alot of money every month. If your someone who writes one anyways you should look into it.

Getting your car fixed... It can be a scary thing for someone who hasn't had to do it before. Most people want to know they are getting quality work when they bring their vehicle in no matter how big or small the job is. We want to trust that our vehicle isn't going to need more work after we get the thing back. At anytime something in your vehicle could go anything from a timing belt to a waterpump. so how do you pick which auto repair shop you take your vehicle to?

I take mine to a local small repair shop because I have gone to big box stores before and then there was something else that needed fixing. I almost lost my whole transmition because i got an oil change at walmart. Let me tell you I will never go there ever again. I would love to buy a newer vehicle soon anyhow but I am still going to want to go to a shop that provides quality work. I was thinking of a Ford expedition Since we have 5 people in our family and we are planning on one more. We do need something bigger than a Oldsmobile cutlass supreme.

Dumb Criminals

OMG what a night.... So last night my fiance and I were watching resident evil 3 and we decide to go have a smoke break. Well we go out there and I look around , something is missing.... I say to my fiance "The kids bikes are gone". So I went and looked around the complex thinking maybe they took them in the daytime and ddn't tell me they were riding their bikes. Well I had n luckl but then I hear my finace yelling at someone???? Well the retarded guy was about a block away so my fiance went after him. The thief didn't hear him coming and had a huge surprise and is probably pretty sore today. My fiance ripped the bike off the guys shoulders. Didn't beat him up but the bikes were locked together, so all that weight and the gears probably hurt him pretty bad. I don't understand what is wrong with people. Stealing a 4 and 8yr olds bikes? That's so wrong. You don't steal from kids. Well you shouldn't steal from ANYONE but kids especially.

WOW today was definitely a weird day for us. My finance and I went to pay off his pay day loan and the manager of the store was HORRIBLE to him. The loan was higher than what he remembered so he didn't have the proper amount and they wouldn't even work with him in any way. We left and figured out a better way to deal with it which was to make payments. This store is supposed to allow 3 payments over 6 weeks which is only 3 pay periods. Well when he asked to make the payments she flipped on him and started swearing at him and when he tried to be reasonable with her she called the cops? Like WTH was that all about this woman is known for being a real cow to her customers and it really amazes me that she still manages the place. I am sure there are enough complaints about this woman to have her fired.

I have refused to deal with her for a very long time because of how rude she was to me almost a year ago. How can any company expect to be successful with someone like that running things. When you are even ust a normal employee you are supposed to conduct yourself in a respectful manner. I would never dream of yelling at anyone the way she yelled at my fiancée today. I hope she gets whats coming to her.

With the holidays coming I see so many people getting so excited, but on the other hand a lot of people are struggling as well. We are by no means rich but we will have just enough and we will not complain about how much or how little we have gotten. I think this time of year people forget that Christmas is not about how much you get it's about family and spending time with the people you love. This year we are going to my MIL's house for Christmas dinner which will be nice because we didn't get invited last year and for me being around a lot of family means a lot to me. I am used to huge family dinners, where everyone helps with the meal and all the kids go tobogganing for the day. We only have a small family here and I am happy that we are being included this year. It took me having a baby to get included but you know I love my baby and my 2 other kids so that doesn't matter to me. All that matters is the family I love and if we spend every Christmas alone that would be just fine by me. We NEED each other and we love eachother and that is what Christmas is all about.

In my experience you get what you pay for and things from Talbots will probably last you a lot longer than something from your local walmart. Talbots is definitely going in the right direction with their styles and I think a lot of women are going to frequent this store more often rather than seeing that it’s not their type of clothing. They will actually want to see what Talbots has in store.

Hello to those that happen by my blog!!! Well 2 posts ago I told you all that I was schedualed to have a c-section and that was a little over 6 weeks ago. Our beautiful little boy, Logan, was born healthy at 6lbs 15oz and is now a little over 9lbs. I swear he's growin too slowly LOL but he is healthy so that is all that matters. Anywho enough about me and my life LOL

Pregnancy

Wow I haven't written in a long time. I have been busy with school and being pregnant.... Well I am almost done my visual publishing and I will be having a C-section on April 9th. Back in January I went and had a 3d Ultrasound done and found out that I am having a baby boy. We are going to name him Logan, Bradley, Pheenyx, Blake. We are getting so excited it's less than 3 days away now. I never thought I would have to have a c-section since my other 2 children were delivered naturally but this little one is being stubborn and doesn't want to turn so we are schedualed to go in on friday at 5:30am. Well I am going to try and get a few posts in before I head to the hospital so I should keep this post brief. I just want to say thank you to my followers just for being there. I didn't know I had any until today. It really makes my day to know that ppl like my blog enough to become a follower.

Pregnancy

Wow been a while since I have posted anything here. I thought I could post something to do with pregnancy..... I am 13 weeks pregnant so I will talk about this stage.

At 13 weeks pregnant women are just on the cusp of being in their 2nd trimester and about 1 in 4 women experience some minor bleeding because of the changes in their bodies at this time. I just experienced this for the 2nd pregnacy, I also had cramping which I had never gone through before but baby is fine thankfully.

At this point baby is developing vocal cords for all that screaming he/she will be doing when he/she is born LOL. Here is what one site has to say about the 13 week mark "What's up with your baby? Well, that big old noggin is now about half the size of her crown-to-rump length. By the time you give birth, her body will catch up, measuring three-quarters of her total size. In other news, the intestines are beginning to move from the umbilical cord to the abdomen" whattoexpect .

I love pregnancy for the most part. I love the feeling of my baby moving and growing but I hate being uncomfortable in bed or lying on the couch. But you know what?? I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Whether your pregnant or want to be do lots of research so you can be as healthy as possible before, during and after baby comes.
