Birds are already visiting all our school nest boxes. Tree Sparrows have started nesting in our B&W birdcam box.
Peter Barber from Urban Canvas worked with the Junior children to design and paint our climbing wall.

Both our birdcam boxes have been occupied this spring. We have been lucky to have Tree Sparrows nesting in our B&W, one brood of 5 chicks have already fledged and another clutch has been laid. Blue tits are currently raising chicks in our colourcam box. Other boxes in the school ground also have chicks. Visit our birdcam blog for further information.

New Audio Podcast available for the Woolley Trail

You can now listen to an Audio Trail for the Woolley Trail created through the Hidden Gems Project. Dan Boyes from Audio Trails worked with Junior children to produce this work originally written by Mrs HT Badams. It includes narration by the children and interviews with local residents.

Well Dressing on show at Brackenfield from 28th May

The theme for the 2011 Brackenfield Well Dressing is: 'The Four Seasons'. We chose 'Winter' for our board and it features winter birds around Ogston Reservoir.
