General Recommendations

There are no-issue free relationships, challenges are there to be surmounted.
There are things you can change and there are those that are beyond you – align accordingly
You need both truth and love to win in your relationships.
It is better to lose a cherished relationship than to mortgage your future
It takes two to tango, for your relationship to work, the other party must be at least as committed to it as you are.
Any relationship that lowers your self-esteem consistently is injurious to your life.

1. Understand the problem
2. Understand the kind of respect to be given to each other. They should sit together and talk things out.

Respect is a serious thing. For a man Respect means his position is respected and given what is due to him, as the head of the family.

Question 2: Most times it is not difficult to respect a man. But what if the man does not acknowledge her?

1. The lady should learn to understand him well, in presentation , attitude , and appearance.
2. The man's background as well as the lady's background needs to be revisited. From where it started, how it started and how it is going to be settled.

Women needs emotional security, that is how a man respects his wife. Treating her in a way people will learn to reciprocate.

The power of life and death is in the tongue, we need to watch what we say.
Teach children honesty, faith and about God. Start teaching them now, parenting today is intentional parenting, it’s deep, structured.

Deut 6-7 it’s the primary assignment of parenting. You have limited time, from 0-18 load them with the word of God even when they derail.

Introduction

Understanding is so important in life that a lack of it makes a man to be compared with a beast. A beast behaves anyhow and do anything anywhere and anytime. When you consider the dangers associated with lack of understanding, there is no way one can live a fulfilled life. Be not without understanding. Pro 4:5-7

Let us look at the dangers of not having spiritual understanding.

You are equated with the beasts: A beast is a large four-footed animal used for carrying burdens. In either words a man void of understanding is not better than animal. If you despise any opportunity to have understanding, you become a prey and bearer of burdens. Psalm 32:9, 49:20, Pro.26:3
You become a companion of fools: Fools are those who lack insight into a matter. The understanding of fools is darkened and they behave anyhow. Fools deny the existence of God in their hearts. Pro 12:1, 18:2, 6:32-33, Pro 12:19
You can become lazy and slothful: A man void of understanding may know what to do but will not do it. Lack of understanding can make a man see death coming and will not do anything to prevent it 1 Che 12:32, Pro 24:30-31
Your days become shortened: It is not the will of God for man to die prematurely but lack of understanding can terminate life abruptly. A man that is void of understanding can live carelessly and may not control his diet until death comes knocking. Pro 28:16; 28:16; Exo 20:12

Conclusion

Whatever price you have to pay for understanding is not too much, for in the days of trouble discretion will preserve you and understanding will keep you. Pro 2:11

God has designed our lives to produce results that represents his personality. The events of our lives, should therefore not negate the plans God has for us. Man was created to dominate and subdue, it's however disheartening that the devil has taken charge of some destinies. A life that doesn't correlate with God's plans, is an abused life. A life that is abused can't fulfil destiny, but when God is in charge he turns things around. Once Jesus steps into the case he makes a difference . God has given man authority for use, through Christ. A life controlled by the devil is subject to ridiculous conditions and manipulations. We must therefore allow Jesus step into our lives, as he dislodges every wrong occurrences and inspires a zeal for God in our lives.

There are two forces in life that determines who is charge of our lives

Force of light : this controls good and blessings

Force of darkness: this controls evil and all bad things.

But you have the power of choice to choose the force you want. God keeps you save if you are under the force of God. Whoever is in charge of your life determines what your life becomes. Some of us lost the control of our lives to disobedience and carelessness .

How do you take charge of your life

1. Hand over your life to Christ. Psalm 18: 44-45

2. Total submission to God .1 peter 5:6

GOD IS AN ENABLER

God is an enabler, when God gives us dreams he ensures provisions for the manifestation of the dreams . When God delights in a man, he brings such man in to dominate the promised land. There is no doubt about the promise of God and of God's interest in man.
Every man alive has a land ahead of him to conquer, like king Jehoash. The king was at a point of being discouraged as the prophet was on the verge of death. The king was lackadaisical because he thought the prophet was only trying to encourage him from losing faith and he struck the ground with little faith. The engagement of God comes from an angle we do not envisage.

HOW TO BE ENABLED OF GOD
1. Never put your trust in man - it's why the King gave up on his battle when the prophet was about to die. Trusting man erodes the preparation of God for our lives.
2. Don't ever discount the Lord's instructions - it is mandatory to do that God or his prophets instruct us to do. We should not be selective about God's messages , every of Gods word is an inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2Kings 3:16).
3. We must put our faith to action. The king could not get total victory because he acted haphazardly; we must make efforts in faith, because of the enablement of the Holy Spirit. God will not increase any inactivity but exercised faith through works.

There is a land that flows with milk and honey before us(Num 14:3), that God wants to show and bring us into by embracing the love of God. The benefits of redemption finds us when we embrace God's love, as we prepare for the promised land.

We must define what wealth is to us and have a financial plan.

We must look for proven easy though God to get extra income for the family.

It is also imperative to take calculated risks.

Spiritual Dimensions
We must pay our tithes and offerings. It is also good to give to people in need.

Live within your means, put your funds in what will benefit the family. We must understand the difference between our needs and wants, and make priorities.

It is basically the man's husband to see how money is well distributed. A man must expand his income or reduce the lifestyle when the family starts to expand.

We are to be fruitful, multiply, lend and help.

Your restoration right is based on 3 factors:
1) Abrahamic convenant. Galatians 8:39, Genesis 12:3

Complete restoration is when you know you have fallen but you want to go back, by defeating the devil.
There is a route to complete restoration:
1) surrender to Jesus
2) you rebuke the devil
After restoration
3) You need to remain hot. Luke 11- 25:26, Colossians 1:10
4) Help people
5) Be fruitful
6) Increase in the knowledge of God

Restoration will be complete when you are serving God.

2) Lack of money management can lead to debt .

3) Money can come between us and God.

Knowing that money is a two edged sword , good or bad, it is necessary to have the right perspective on it. It's to be a servant and not to rule us.

Principles to adopt to improve our financial manage money

1) God owns it all. All we have is given by God so there's no room for greed and wastage Job 1 vs 20-21

2) Financial abundance is a trade off between time/efforts and money/rewards.

3) Adopt financial management skills. Budgeting and savings.

-Earn it...proverb 6:6

-Keep it: learn to keep part of your money, don't spend it all. Genesis 41 vs 33-36.

Everyone is either a spender or saver. Determine who is who in your family and commit your finances to the saver.

Topic – Healing from the Roots
Text - 2Kings2:19-23

There is a spring to every challenge we encounter in life. If there is no cause, sickness will not come upon us (prob26:2). God is the only being that can heal from the roots – any healing that doesn’t cure the springs of the ailments, will appear again in a more terrific manner, (Job14:7-8). (Matt12:43-45).

Man’s inability to resolve the roots of his challenges causes fluctuations in the life of such person.

Root Causes of Sickness

1.Transgressions of fools (Psalm107:17) – sin is a paramount cause of sickness in a man’s life. Sin is disobedience to God’s instructions, which leaves us vulnerable to demonic afflictions. (Deut28:15,21-22).

Disobedience to God’s word will always activate destructions – Why Jesus always admonishes man to stay away from sin. Our lifestyle also produces ailments in our lives.

2.Curse (Prob 23:21), (1cor11-30). A man’s actions can bring curse upon him, which generates ailments.

3.The Devil – Luke 13:11-16). Demonic activities also brings captivity into a man’s life. (Mark5:1-20). The Devil destroys a man with great mandate and potentials until Jesus address the root cause of the ailment. The Devil transfers generation ailments and oppression to the life of a man.

Gods Provision for Divine Healing

1.A willing man - God is always willing to heal man of his ailments, cause he is the only one that can heal completely. (Exp15:26), (Jer30:17), (Psalm103:1-3).

God is more than able to deal with the symptoms and root cause. Gods words is a means to heal us (Psalm107:20). A man must be willing to be healed to receive of God.The death of Christ upon the cross also paid for healing – (1peter2:24), (Isa53:5).
Isaiah 1:19 – man’s willingness is confirmed by obedience to Gods word.

2.Play your Part – it is man’s duty to renounce sin. We must make up our minds to put aside a few habits and God will help us conquer.

3.Faith – faith is the key to change our fate, in prayers (Matt9:28). The strength of our faith, corresponds the restoration and healing we receive from Christ.

4.Every healing we desire is possible with God – financial, marital, restoration, recreation or deformations. We can access this by strength of our faith.
