After sharing the initial previews with you earlier this week, today I bring more of a featured preview into Laura + Dean’s gorgeous vintage themed wedding from St Mary and St Chads in Brewood and Somerford Hall.

It was such a beautiful wedding and Laura had taken such care and attention over the details which really showed through. I had such a great time documenting their day, and although I was only with them for just under six hours, the story is looking fantastic.

After Liz + Chris‘ gorgeous wedding at Somerford Hall on the 8th April, I had the pleasure of being back at Somerford the following friday for the beautiful vintage themed wedding of Laura and Dean.

Laura + Dean chose to marry at the beautiful St Mary and St Chads Church in Brewood, with the reception at Somerford Hall.

I was only with the couple for a short period of time on the day, the later coverage was entrusted to my good friend Lee Billingham of Shutterbox Films – coverage I cannot wait to see!

I’ll be sharing a few more photos from the wedding over the weekend, but for now here is a little preview to enjoy.

It was a true pleasure to share Liz + Chris’ day, and to be back at such a wonderful venue in Somerford Hall too. I can’t wait to delve into the album design for the couple, going to be a tough one to choose!

Last week I had the pleasure of documenting two wonderful weddings at Somerford Hall in Brewood, a venue I hadn’t worked at for several years.

On Easter Sunday it was the wonderful wedding of Elizabeth to Christopher, a civil wedding that was so perfectly relaxed it made the whole day a true pleasure!

I first met Liz at Jude + Rich‘s wedding at Moor Hall in Sutton Coldfield way back in 2010, and it was great to catch up with everyone again.

The wedding was absolutely stunning full of so much detail and personal touches throughout, and with the weather playing along with us we had a great time.

I’ll be sharing more of a featured preview with you later this week, but for now here are a couple of my favourites from the day.

I’ve just been putting together a new advert which will be launching in a few days time, but have also taken the opportunity to create an introductory slideshow – hope you enjoy.

The music on the slideshow is by the fabulous Colbie Caillat and features some of my favourite images from 2011 and a few earlier ones too.

The wedding season is about to launch full force, perfectly in-time with our house purchase going through – amazingly useful timing… However, we can’t wait to get the keys.

Liz + Andy | Islington, London

Last weekend we kicked off the 2012 wedding season is style with a fabulous wedding in the heart of Islington, London.

Liz + Andy booked me for their wedding at the end of last year, and knowing Andy from my work with Russell, Jones and Walker it was great to see the guys and gals from the office letting their hair down and having a great time celebrating the big day!

I also had the pleasure of having Beki alongside me for this wedding which worked fantastically as we were able to capture elements from both Routemaster Buses – the choice of transport from the church incorporating a wicked tour of the London sights for the whole wedding party.

It was a great day and I can’t wait to put together the slideshow and featured post in the next few days, however, in the meantime, please enjoy this preview of Liz + Andy’s gorgeous Islington London Wedding with Documentary Reportage Wedding Photography telling their story.

Becci + Pete | The Moat House

After sharing the first previews (and the slideshow with the Bride + Groom yesterday too) I’m really happy to bring to you my featured highlights of their wedding from the Moat House.

There are always little things, moments and memories that stay with you from every wedding, and from Becci + Pete’s day it has to be the groom totally freezing during the vows, then both Becci + Pete having a fit of giggles throughout the whole ceremony! Now I don’t know whether Pete’s story that it was Becci giggling first that set him off or not, but the reaction from everyone (including the registrars) was priceless!! Awesome!

It was a fantastic way to finish a wonderful year, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of my clients for entrusting me to document their day, to record their memories in my own documentary wedding photography style for their friends and family to enjoy for the rest of time. I truly love my job, and it is always a pleasure to be part of such an amazing occasion as a couples wedding – so thank you all.

Becci + Pete | The Moat House, Acton Trussell

To round off 2011 I had the pleasure of documenting Becci + Pete’s wedding at the ever popular and stunning Moat House in Acton Trussell, one of our most popular wedding venues. I actually met Becci and Pete at the recent Moat House Showcase and it was great that I was available to share their day.

Due to the Christmas and New Year ‘down-time’ this post is a little later that usual, but the featured post will be here in a couple of days too. Let me know what you think – I know Becci and Pete can’t wait to see their photos and read your comments too!!

Kate + Simon | Mobberley Church + Styal Lodge

I shared the first previews of Kate and Simon’s wedding at the wonderful Styal Lodge with the ceremony taking place in Kate’s home village of Mobberley a couple of days ago, and although the office is now closed until the new year, I couldn’t help but share this featured post of their stunning winter wedding.

I had such an amazing time on the day with Kate and Simon and their friends and families, and along with the stunning setting, the amazing details and the glorious personal touches throughout, it truly was a fantastic way to finish off the year documenting their wedding.

Hope everyone’s having a great Christmas and your enjoy sharing these few moments from Kate and Simon’s day.

After a wonderful year full of so many exciting events including so many gorgeous weddings up and down the country, some awesome corporate photography commissions and not to forget the biggest personal event for me – getting engaged to Beki!! – it really has been a wonderful year, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my clients, past, present and future all the very best for a wonderful Christmas and to send all the hope and joy for a fabulous New Year!
