She did the math - found that her chosen college career path was a stretch, and that a vocational trade would actually serve her better right now. She makes more money now than I did before my layoff.<br /><br />Not to mention that I'm having a beast of a time finding work again in the "college-educated" sector because businesses outside my degree area aren't looking at the skills I've developed that have nothing to do with that degree. My college degree seems to have left me fit to be a Case Manager - and there isn't much call for case managers these days.
