Roughly 51% of the NZ prison population is Māori, despite them making up only about 15% of the total population of the country. Tattooing has always been a big part of Māori culture, and in jail this continues as people form gangs and tattoo themselves to show their allegiance and to rebel against the system that put them there.

They caused a lot of stir, but they also sold millions of albums and they are still considered one of the best rock bands of all time.

Does anyone remember Brian Hugh Warner? In the 1990s he went by another name, Marilyn Manson. This guy is still around and is still one of the most controversial people of his generation. He constantly receives negative attention due to his freakish face makeup and dress, and his outlandish song lyrics and stage performances.
