Angela + Mike’s Liberty House wedding was full of laughter from start to finish. Angela + Mike are an extremely playful couple, so it came as no surprise that they couldn’t stop from laughing throughout the day. From the first look reveal to the ceremony and through the end of the night, these two were giggling and laughing all the way. Even their officiant was the perfect fit for this couple, cracking jokes throughout the ceremony – he had all the guests rolling in laughter in their seats! They had the perfect spring day for their wedding – thank you for having Carolina and me there to document all the smiles and laughter.

I love having the opportunity to see clients grow up over the years, and can’t believe it’s been 2 years since I photographed Valeria when she was born! Valeria is going to be a big sister any day now as her parents are expecting their second daughter. The three of us spent an afternoon at the Hoboken waterfront, basking in the beautiful spring weather.

Mazel Tov to Colby and her family! Colby became a Bat Mitzvah at Liberty House in Jersey City a few weeks ago. Her friends and family celebrated this momentous milestone, dancing throughout the night.

When I met up with Kristin + Kevin in Hoboken 2 weeks ago, Kristin was 36 weeks pregnant. And it turns out it we were just in time for the maternity shoot since Owen decided to make an early entrance only 1 week later! Owen and his proud parents are home now and I can’t wait to meet the little guy very soon!

Sarah + Amy had a beautiful intimate wedding at one of my favorite restaurant venues in the city, City Hall Restaurant. Both brides wore dresses from Notte by Marchesa. Surrounded by family and close friends, their wedding was a wonderful celebration of the start of their lives together.

Alisa + Allan are artistic people, so I knew the choice of locations for their engagement session were going to be fun and creative. We started at 5 Pointz in Long Island City, an outdoor art exhibit space and self-proclaimed “graffiti Mecca.” It was AWESOME! Then we headed into Manhattan with our first stop being The Productive, a shared workspace, where Alisa + Allan showed off their wedding initiations (which they designed themselves). Our fun afternoon ended in Soho, in a colorful alleyway off Crosby St. It was a perfect spring afternoon and I can’t wait for their wedding this summer at the Queens Botanical Gardens!

Gabrielle + Ed’s wedding at the Pleasantdale Chateau was a beautiful intimate wedding. This was my first opportunity to shoot a wedding at this gorgeous venue.  Carolina and I loved all the interesting rooms.  Having such wonderful architecture at our fingertips provided us with the perfect setting for the photos of couple.

Carla + Jamaal had friends and family from all over the country join them for their Manhattan wedding a few weeks ago. Jamaal, who is currently stationed in Italy, and Carla, who was living in Virginia and has now joined Jamaal in Italy, used the theme of travel throughout their decorations – passport inspired program, postcards in lieu of a guestbook, and boarding passes for the name cards. Pete joined me as they started their day at the beautiful Akwaaaba Bed and Breakfast in Brooklyn before heading into Manhattan to the Manhattan Penthouse for the ceremony and reception. The reception was filled with dancing – including a dance-off between the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
