This tool is for keyword searching by using yahoo dictionary.
We can search the selected keyword on the web page, the tool will open a new tab for end-user and show the search result for this keyword in dictionary.

[How to use]:
1. select a string.
2. right click on the selection.
3. press the item "search in dictionary"

then, you will get the search result.

本延伸功能是用來作為快速字典查詢的小工具。
通常我們在看英文的網頁時都會遇到看不懂的單子或片語。
此時，這個小工具就可以用來作為字典查詢的補助。

使用方法如下：
1. 在網頁上選取看不懂的生字。
2. 在選取的字上點MOUSE右鍵。
3. 再選擇項目 “Search in dictionary"

這個時候，這個工具會幫使用者導到新網頁去看所選取的字詞的字典解釋。
(註: 本程式是由 ANDROID版本翻譯快一點移植過來. 有興趣者可以參考ANDROID版本)

Here is a tool to help the developer to generate a simple chrome extension manifest.json quickly.

How to use it:

1. download the latest build via sub link.
2. Extract the *.zip file to local storage folder.
3. double click the ChromeExtManifestBuilder.jar.
note: user can drag a manifest.json into the application to open .

if you bump into trouble to launch the app, please update your java run-time.

經常在開發Chrome Extension 時, 都要開著記事本或文字編輯器, 一行一行的輸入KEY VALUE 來建立這個Chrome Extension的 Manifest.json 檔案.

於是乎為了方便我的開發. 就做了一個小工的具來方便的建立檔案之用.
以下為使用的方法.

1. 下載程式的壓縮檔後, 並解壓縮.
2. 點擊ChromeExtManifestBuilder.jar. 檔案後即可開啟.
本程式也支援用拖拉的方式將 manifest.json 拉入本程式的視窗中, 即可完成開啟的動作.

If the user has multiple devices, he/she might want to receive the incoming sms by using another tablet or device with wifi-only.
The application provide a method to receive the incoming sms via GMail.

Let user get the sms on other device.

Here is my experience:
I have many mobile devices. The nexus 4, nexus 7, nexus 10, iPod Touch, but, if there is an incoming sms, I must take the nexus 4 to check the sms. I always ask myself. Why can't I just use the device to receive sms without nexus 4?
Ok, it's my idea. I broadcast it via gmail. It's good. And make it to be better :D

Android App Installer for Windows

The application provide two function for end-user.
1. an installation package to let user to install specific apk to target device.
for instance: google apps. dev apps ...etc.

2. User can double click the *.apk file to install the apk into connected android device. (note: must change the file association first)

The application is for windows desktop using only.

In order to let user to have a phone call easily.
I create this application for this purpose.

Setup the contact list. and add them into the app's contact list.
then , just tap the contact's photo , it will originate a call.
The user can also use the app with Skype.

Android APK Installer for Mac OS X

The Android developer or user might need to install their apk sometime with Android SDK and command line .

That's not good to use. So , here is the GUI for user to install the apk by using the MAC OS.

Caution: This application is for Mac OS only.

How to use:

1. download the dmg file first.
2. double click the dmg file to mount it.
3. copy or move the AndroidApkInstaller.app into folder "/Applications/"
4. choose your target apk file , then press the left button to "open with" this app.

Next time, you want open apk by using this app. please check the option "Always open with"
Then , you might be able to open the apk file by using double click.

Every time , I am troubling in taking the Taipei MRT route map for reference in just one second.

I need to open the web browser and check the map's link.

So, I made it for myself. just one touch to launch the app.

Text Translator 2 (翻譯快一點)

The tool will provide the user to have a translation by using any app.
For instance: the browser or the reader.

After enabling the function , and the text was copied. A message will be showed to notify user. And user can press the notification item to get the translation.

Now, it just support the translation from English to Traditional Chinese.

使用者可以使用本工具來進行輔助翻譯的動作。

使用須知:
1. 當應用程式開關被啟動之後，如果有文字被複製即會在最上頭的訊息列作提示，再點擊提示即可進行翻譯。
2. 在文章中選取字詞後，再選擇“分享” 給 “翻譯快一點“ 也可以。
3. 在文章中選取字詞後，再選擇“從網頁中尋找” 交給 “翻譯快一點“ 也行。
4. 本程式須要網路連線支援

* 支援 KINDLE 閱讀器。
如何使用：
當使用者使用KINDLE來閱讀時，先選取所要查詢的字詞，然後選擇 “Search the Web"(搜尋網頁結果），如此便可以取得搜尋的字典。

Bluetooth remote for android (藍芽搖控器)

Usually, people leave their seat to get a coffee or take a break. It's just a moment, they must do somethings for their private .

Turn off the TV, turn off the tablet, lock all of them.For instance: I need the tablet to be locked, and I need to turn off the screen or press the power button.

So, here is an application to handle it.

How to use -

1. install the app on both of devices.

2. pair two devices by using blue tooth.

3. make one of them to be the slave device in order to be controlled.

And then , when I get away of my tablet, I just press the power button in the app . The remote tablet's screen will be turned off :D
