Studio T3 is the proud winner of five Buffalo Business First’s 2019 Brick by Brick Awards. The annual Brick by Brick Awards Program recognizes finalists in several categories of Real Estate, Construction, and Development in the Buffalo Niagara region. The Brick by Brick Awards are offered to Western New York’s most successful architects, engineers, developers, and contractors located in the Buffalo Niagara region.

This year we were awarded the Adaptive Reuse Award for our structural engineering work on the Northland Workforce Training Center, the Elementary/Middle/High School Award for our site design and civil engineering work on the Tapestry Charter School, a Historic Preservation Award for our structural engineering work on AP Lofts, a Historic Restoration Award for our structural engineering work on the Silos at Elk Street, and the New Construction Award for our structural engineering work the Lockport Family YMCA.

We would like to congratulate Kaitlin Gorski on passing the PE exam! Kaitlin is now a professional engineer registered and licensed to practice in New York State.

Kaitlin has been with Studio T3 since 2013 and has contributed much to the success of our firm. Recently Kaitlin has taken on more of a project management role and has been responsible for site plan design, site grading design, site drainage design, and site utility design. Kaitlin has written many engineering reports and has prepared design calculations for corresponding projects. She has also done public presentations of Studio T3’s proposed to municipalities and planning boards. She is a valued and key member of our team!

We are excited to share our recent contributions to the new Townhomes at 197 West Utica in Buffalo, NY. Studio T3 did the architectural design, landscape design, structural design, and site design for the project. There are five new 3-story units with penthouse roof terraces and attached garages. This project helps meet a new housing demand in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village.

Our recent project, Phoenix Brewery Apartments, has won several awards! The project is the winner of Buffalo Spree’s “Best Preservation Project” 2016, winner of the Preservation League of New York State’s “Excellence in Historic Preservation Award” 2017, and winner of the Buffalo Business First’s Brick by Brick Award “Best Historic Preservation” 2017. Studio T3 provided structural engineering for the project. The project creates mixed-use redevelopment of the Phoenix Brewery and more can be read about it on Carmina Wood Morris’ website.
